• Marie (10/5): Fabulous 2 bedroom house - We loved everything about our 3 night stay in the lovely 2 bedroomed house. It was perfect for us! Was very clean and had everything we needed and more. The beds were so comfortable and we loved having the veranda to sit out on. Darren was an excellent host, picking us up from the airport and giving us a tour around Sidney on our way to the house. He kindly got some shopping in for us with the essential wine, dips etc and provided water, juice and yogourts for breakfast. Would go back in an instant and would recommend to anyone wishing to stay in the delightful seaside town of Sidney. Thankyou very much Darren. There was nothing to dislike.

• Karen (10/5): - Our 2 night stay at Corbett house was very good. Location was great - close to waterfront and right in town. Quiet neighborhood. Our place had a nice porch and a private patio. Beds were comfy and lots of pillows. The living room was spacious and kitchen provided all the amenities although we ate out. Coffee as good and owner answered my texts in good time. Great place for 2 couples or a family. I definitely recommend it.

• Martina (9/5): - We had a warm welcome. The owner wasn't present. So we've got sticker where's the way to our room. The coffee brewer was ready for the welcomecoffee. It was a nice big room with kitchen unit without a stove, separate bath. The room was in the basement. We had 3 nights and we felt comfortable.

Darren is a gracious host.The location is very close to the waterfront, and evening strolls are pleasant. There are a few planes that fly over in the evenings, but it's a small airport and closed nights, and noise really isn't an issue.

• Diane (9/5): Wonderful stay in Sidney, BC - The room was absolutely spotless. I wish my house were that clean!!! Our host greeted us, guided us to a reserved parking spot and then gave us a thorough explanation of what we needed to know - wifi, keys, lights, etc. There was a little electric fireplace that gave off surprisingly good heat. The table was set for two, waiting for us when we arrived. It was those nice little touches that made the stay extra special. We were walking distance from the sea and the main street of Sidney. Wonderful location. Really, there is nothing. It was a great room in a great location.
• Zidkovich (10/5): A comfortable and cosy retreat. - What a welcoming space this was after a long day of travelling. Darren turned this smaller space into a cosy and comfortable retreat; well appointed and equipped. We appreciated the little extras in the fridge to start our day off well.

• Carmen (9/5): Sidney is a nice quiet place to stay in Vancouver Island - Location was great, not too far from town and the bus. Close to a nice walkway. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We didn't eat the breakfast provided as we prefer cereal. The room was quite dark but I think the prices of the rooms are based on this.
• Kathleen (10/5): We had a wonderful stay in Sidney and it was removed enough from the hustle and bustle of the city and close to services - We stayed in the Kingfisher Suite on the property. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Darren was an attentive host and he made sure that we taken care of. It is close to the airport so there is occasional noise that goes with that.

Every detail is established with such a good taste and you can feel the love and joy of Darren, for what he is offering and doing for his guests, he really is an amazing and wonderful host and person. It was clean and welcoming. Darren was attentive and quick to respond to questions. There were snacks! It was in a lower level which made it a bit dark but we weren’t inside much anyway and it made for great sleeping.

Near the airport, but we didn't hear much. Shops and restaurants just a few blocks away. The owner is personable and easy to talk to. Would highly recommend this place.

• Andrea (10/5): I’ll be back! - This suite is on a quiet residential street but only a short walk to the Main Street where all the coffee shops, restaurants and shopping are located and a short walk to the water to enjoy the views. This cozy cottage is well laid out and lovingly appointed, if you wanted to make a meal, you could but if you just wanted to relax, you can do that too.
