- Pitztop (10/5): We loved our two nights at Bett am Weiher and will stay there again. - Bett am Weiher was exactly what my wife and I were looking for. My wife had personal business in the area and I wanted to hike. Wil turned out to be the perfect location for us. We wanted to stay in the old part of town in an historic building. Our room was spacious, well appointed, and clean with a fabulous view out over the Weiher. No formal breakfast is served, but butter, jam, coffee, and breakfast cereal is provided. We bought bread and cheese from a local bakery and had lovely breakfasts while we were there. The location is fabulous. Parking is provided, but the lot is about 250 meters away from the guest house. This was not a problem for us.
If you are looking for a stay in a quaint, well maintained, very old building in the center of the historic old town with a fabulous view of the Wil Wehier, and don't mind climbing stairs, we highly recommend Bett am Weheir.
- Daniel (10/5): Magnifique - Tout Rien

On a adoré!!

- Alison (10/5): The stay at the house was pefect for us. - The renovated old building has been given a wonderful new lease of life as the Bett am Weiher.
- Isabelle (8/5): -
- Susanne (10/5): Es war toll - Lage, geschmackvolle Einrichtung, sauber, historischer Hintergrund
- Florian (9/5): -

- Samantha (10/5): A comfortable and character-filled accommodation. - Centrally located in the old town, lovely character in both the location and the property, beautiful views over the lake, quiet, lovely breakfast room with all we needed.
- Nicola (9/5): We were so happy with our stay. We loved that the house still retains it's character. - Perfectly located. Very clean and quiet. The bed was a bit firm for our liking.
- Daniel (10/5): Terrific - Spacious room, very clean. The hotel does not offer breakfast but you can buy your own bread and you will find jam, butter and coffee facility at the hotel.
- Antonella (10/5): Exceptional -
- Antonella (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (10/5): Superb - Superbly renovated building, very comfortable room and equipment
- Richard (10/5): Wil and Bett am Wieher is an atmospheric stopover on our cycle tour on Swiss Route 5 - Great location and nice views from our back room (no.2). Easy remote check in. The self-service and prep breakfast room was fine for us as we bought some items at the local supermarket and stored in common fridge, although capsule coffee , butter and milk available were appreciated. Wil was a great one night stop on our cycle tour and we were able to put our bicycles safely and carefully inside for the night. Much appreciated. A fan would be appreciated as room got a bit stuffy, and more power outlets in room maybe via extension and power strip, but appreciate it’s a historic building. Lack of staff feels a bit odd.
- Daniel (10/5): Magnificent - Superbly renovated building, the room (on the top floor) was pretty large and (again) superbly arranged.
No breakfast on the premises but this can hardly be taken as a negative as there are bakeries very close to the hotel.
Location right in the centre of the (superb) old town, overlooking the lake/pond.
- David (9/5): Very nice - Nice large room with a great view. Very pleasant host. Good location
- Brian (7/5): Ok apart from the gloor - Good central location, good view over the lake. Large spacious room, very comfortable. The floor was bare wood, practical. The was very creaky every step taken created a loud creak which i’m sire must have disturbed the person underneath. I could hear the person above me moving about.
- Lucy (7/5): Good -
- Peter (9/5): Superb - Authentic swiss house
- Kenneth (8/5): Very good - Friendly and well run, the decorations are old fashioned, but in good condition
- Craig (9/5): Superb -
- Annet (8/5): A nice trip down memory lane to a city I worked in some 36 years ago. - Beautiful building in the medieval town centre. Spacious rooms, spotlessly clean. You can help yourself in the well-appointed kitchen, simply pick up fresh bread from a nearby bakery and prepare your own breakfast. The farmers' market outside the venue on Saturday morning was a nice surprise. Someone mistakenly tried to enter my room. The lady in question seemed as shocked as I was and did apologise but it did make me feel uneasy.
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Anja (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lesley (10/5): A well-organised and appointed property, within walking distance to the town centra and transport. Perfect. 🤩 - The central location was perfect, and one of our rooms looked over the “weiher”. We were also within walking distance of our friends who live locally. The stairs! But they also helped me walk off all the lovely food we ate!
- Joung (9/5): Great experience in old house treasure! - House is always clean and the location is in the middle of old city, access to the garden and pond, very close to shopping street. Train station is only 10 min away by walking. Staff member, Gita is so kind and friendly. None.
- Martin (9/5): Very charming residece surrounded by cafes, restaurants and boutiques. - Very charming building with lovely interior. Spacious rooms and big breakfast/kitchen area.
Only 5 rooms, so rather quiet Very old and original building so floors are squeaking quite a bit. Chose the too floor if you can.
- Yael (7/5): Good - Stunning room, very charming, clean and pretty !!! Nice view too, and we’ll situated. Could be cheaper. Two single beds next to each other to create a double bed. / Old building so you can hear everyone in the morning / evening.
- Veronika (9/5): Absolutely perfect for what I needed. - The location was perfect for me and I was happy to get coffee and muesli for breakfast. shower was great. Being small I could see myself in the mirror. The water in the basin would not drain easily. My continental adapters did not match the sockets and therefore I could not charge the Ipad, Iphone or charger which were at a alltime low after a long delayed flight Did not know/realise that the room number was on the key tag as it was dark when I arrived (my fault).
- Natalia (10/5): Exceptional - Super clean, spacious room, lots of light, easy check-in, check-out, nice outside garden area The sink in the bathroom was clogged
- Judith (8/5): Will is a beautiful village and it was a delight to stay in one of its older buildings. - Loved the spaciousness of Rm 2 and the amazing view. All amenities were provided as advertised. Re. the problem with inconsiderate fellow guests returning late and keeping us awake, the owner has assured us that those guests would not be welcome again and she took on board the suggestion of a curfew. She also gave us a ChF20 discount. A good hostess. The poor acoustics - guests in the room above us were very inconsiderate - they returned at 4am, went up and down the stairs putting lights on until 5.30am. We understand that this is a lovely old 15th building and know there is nothing that can be done about the squeaks and groans of the stair treads and floorboards so can we suggest that guests be vetted and a curfew for returning, in the evening, to minimise disturbing fellow guests..
