• Carla (10/5): Sehr zu empfehlen - Zuvorkommendes und sehr nettes Personal. Alles sehr sauber und ruhig. Wir waren froh, nach Uyuni nochmal eine Nacht hier geschlafen zu haben. Die Flexibilität statt Frühstück für einen Aufpreis im Restaurant Mittag essen zu können. Sehr lecker und zu empfehlen! Nichts

• Paula Nicole (10/5): - De principio a fin valoro la atención recibida por todo el personal del hostal, su dueña, la sra Ximena estuvo siempre preocupada de que nos sintiéramos cómodos y dándonos recomendaciones de qué lugares visitar, su hostal funciona muy bien gracias a su administración, cuentan con desayuno que si tienes un tour muy temprano te pueden preparar box para que te lo lleves. Todos los días realizaban aseo a la habitación cuando uno salía, así que siempre se mantuvo impecable ya que son muy minuciosos, si te faltaba algún artículo de aseo no tenían problema en facilitarte (jabón, shampoo, confort). Si arriendas auto cuentan con estacionamiento para dejar el vehículo en la noche, pero ojo, hay que reservar porque tienen cupos limitados. Además, en el mismo lugar cuentan con restaurante, en el cual la comida es muy sabrosa y contundente, atención amable, rápida, se nota la experiencia de los garzones, muy rico todo. Muy agradecidos por la estadía y sin duda si volvemos a San Pedro nos volveríamos a quedar aquí 💖

• Sigi C (9/5): Ein angenehmes Hostal auf hohem Niveau - Das ist ein Hostal, das auf hohem Niveau mit viel Engagement und Herz geführt wird! Die Zimmer sind geräumig, sehr sauber und komfortabel. Die Menschen, die dort arbeiten, sind sehr freundlich. Man kümmert liebevoll um die Gäste. Der Chef spricht auch Englisch. Das Essen im Restaurant (nur mittags von 12 bis 16 Uhr !) ist sehr zu empfehlen: lecker - und auch preiswerter als im touristischen Ortskern. Auch das Frühstück ist gut. Man bekommt auf Wunsch alternativ bei Ausflügen oder Unternehmungen, die früh beginnen, auch ein Frühstückspaket mit auf den Weg. Der Busbahnhof liegt nahebei um die Ecke. Zum Zentrum läuft man 10 Minuten. Alles ist easy und sehr angenehm.

• Egle (10/5): Spettacolare - Lo staff è super accogliente e disponobile, la camera era grande e pulita, e la doccia era sempre calda con la temperatura perfetta. In struttura c’è anche una cucina in condivisione in caso si voglia preparare qualcosa da mangiare con un frigorifero dove si può lasciare il cibo comprato dentro una scatola per ogni camera. Molti tour iniziano molto presto al mattino quindi c’è la possibilità di richiedere la colazione da asporto che comprende tante cose tra cui un panino, del succo e della frutta fresca. La posizione è un po’ dislocata dal centro ma la zona è molto tranquilla e si dorme benissimo. Anche se la struttura non è aperta per la cena si arriva in centro con una passeggiata di 10 minuti. Tutto eccellente super consigliato

В ресторане при отеле вкусно готовят и цена приемлемая, жаль удалось поесть только один раз (краткосрочное пребывание). • Valeria (10/5): - Una experiencia y atención excepcional, me sorprendió gratamente. Las fotos no le hacen justicia a lo agradable del lugar, lo limpio y bien equipado que está. El personal es realmente lo mejor del hostal, son amables a más no poder, siempre dispuestos a aclarar dudas, disponibles para peticiones especiales y con una sonrisa. Luego, algo que destaco por sobre el resto de los alojamientos en que he estado (no solo en San Pedro sino que en cualquier otra parte), es la limpieza, realmente el lugar está impecable, el piso brilla, las mesas siempre limpias, el baño pulcro; en nuestro caso nos quedamos en una habitación con baño compartido y con un poco de miedo de que pudiera no estar muy limpio o que pudiese ser incómodo por no estar siempre disponible y la verdad es que no tuvimos ningún problema, el baño en nuestro caso se compartía solo con dos habitaciones más y estuvo todos los días extremadamente limpio. En cuanto al desayuno, rico, abundante, fresco y cuando no podíamos tomarlo en el hostal nos preparaban un box de salida que también estaba muy bien. La habitación es amplia, cómoda, la cama agradable y no pasamos nada de frío pese a que San Pedro en la madrugada es helado, cuenta además con una pequeña mesa dentro de la habitación que nos sirvió bastante para trabajar. Si tuviera que obligarme a encontrar detalles (porque realmente no los hay) es que para llegar al centro hay que caminar aprox unos 7 minutos, lo que realmente es nada, y que por fuera de la ventana de la habitación en que me alojé (la número 5) está inmediatamente la vereda de la calle, entonces hay que tener cuidado de cerrar las cortinas bien para vestirse, recostarse, etc., pero realmente no me afectó en nada. En resumen, increíble alojamiento, relación precio/calidad tremenda, vale la pena totalmente elegir este hostal por sobre otros de la zona, aún considerando que puede estar un poco más alejado, porque realmente no tiene desperdicio alguno, ¡Es un hostal de lujo al precio más bajo!

Nos prepararon colaciones en vez del desayuno los días que salimos muy temprano, nos prestaron un termo para el agua caliente y siempre con mucha amabilidad. Una persona muy amable, cordial, siempre preocupado de brindar la mejor atención. También el lugar contaba con una salita de cocina, donde podías guardar alimentos y cocinarte. Tenían unos almuerzos maravillosos, con variedad de menú por $8000, con entrada, plato de fondo y postre. En las mañanas por los tour tan temprano nos entregaban el desayuno para guardarlo (muy abundante). Los desayunos eran espectaculares, muy abundantes para pasar toda la mañana. Es un agrado encontrar espacios así!! Felicitaciones y muy recomendable. Todo estaba perfecto!

• Julie (10/5): Excellent place to stay for solo travelers and/or budget travelers! - This is an excellent stay for solo travelers and/or budget travelers. The location is less than a 5-minute walk from where the shuttle drops you off from the Chilean/Bolivian border and from the bus station. It's maybe an 8-minute walk from the main street with all the restaurants and travel agencies. The walk to the hotel is exceptionally beautiful and unforgettable, as you can see the desert and mountains in the distance. The breakfast was pretty good - eggs, bread, cheese, ham, juice, and instant coffee. They also serve lunch, which was amazing and affordable. When I didn't eat breakfast there (many tours leave very early in the morning), I was given $5,000 pesos off on lunch, or I was provided breakfast to go, which saved me on my bus ride to Argentina on my last day. The hotel was extremely quiet. I could have heard a pin drop. My room was extremely cold, but there were enough blankets, so I wasn't cold while sleeping. In fact, I was so comfortable that I slept better at this hotel than I usually do. My room was very small, but there were enough hooks to hang my jacket and clothes and enough space to put my things, so the size wasn't an issue for me. The room was also very clean, and it was cleaned frequently. The bathroom was large and very clean, and the water in the shower was consistently hot with excellent water pressure. It was such a relief after being on the Uyuni Salt Flat Tour. There's a small kitchen for guests to use, but I only used it once. The hotel accepted credit cards as payment with no extra fee. I initially booked for 3 nights, but I extended my stay for a total of 9 days. I highly recommend this hotel. My room was extremely cold, so I think a heater would be good for that room. There weren't any outlets anywhere in the social area (the restaurant) to plug in my computer, so if I wanted to work on my computer (I'm a photographer and writer), I had to go to my cold room. That was inconvenient.

• Belén (10/5): Maravilloso - El lugar es asombroso, con mi pareja quedamos encantados! el personal es demasiado amoroso, desde el minuto 1 nos sentimos super acogidos, nos dieron la bienvenida y nos explicaron super bien cómo funciona el pueblo en general y el hostal, nos dieron flexibilidad horaria en cuanto el ingreso y salida del hostal, además el hostal es restaurante, entonces puedes cambiar el desayuno por el almuerzo (pagando extra) o pedir el desayuno para llevar si es que tienes tour al otro día temprano (te entregan el desayuno la noche anterior). Quiero mencionar también la excelente calidad de la comida, nosotros almorzamos un par de días ahí y no es caro, además de ser demasiado rico, es super casero, abundante, pero a la vez muy gourmet. Por último está a 10 min caminando aprox a caracoles. Sin duda lo recomiendo y nos encantaría volver! nada, todo fue perfecto

Nos dias dos passeios em que não havia a possibilidade de tomar café no hostel, os donos se preocupavam em deixar um lanche para levarmos ou tomarmos antes de ir. Foi tudo sensacional. Sem contar a cachorrinha Luna e Tiki Baby haha, duas graças. Super recomendo o lugar.

A acomodação fica há uns 10min caminhando para a rua Caracoles que é a rua principal da cidade onde se encontram a maior parte do comércio.

• PKom (10/5): A wonderful little hostel that far exceeded my expectations - The whole place looks new and the staff take trouble to maintain it well, polishing and scrubbing even the dining chair legs every morning. My private room was much nicer than the photos, and I was impressed at the attention to detail. Wooden hangars instead of plastic; shower curtain with separate liner; toothbrush holder; hairdryer; separate gas-powered water heater for every toilet guaranteeing unlimited hot water at any hour; pictures on the wall have not even a speck of dust (in the middle of this windy desert!). Extremely comfortable beds and pillows, and plenty of blankets. I didn't feel the need of a heater in August. Rooms are fully serviced everyday. Above all, the staff are kind, friendly and cheerful. Always ready to adapt to any special needs. A special thank you to the manager, for taking care of me when I got bitten by a stray dog. The place is about 10 mins slow walk from Caracoles, and completely silent at night. Their restaurant is very popular for their 8000 pesos 4-course lunch menus, which feature a selection of delicious local specialties that change everyday. I wish I could have stayed longer... the place had begun to feel like home.

O quarto é aconchegante, bonito e bem cuidado — a arrumação era feita diariamente, sempre deixando tudo organizado e confortável. Em 3 dias optei por substituir o café da manhã pelo almoço, pagando apenas 3.000 pesos (já com o desconto de 5.000 pesos por não tomar o café). Achei uma ótima opção, pois o almoço sempre vinha muito bem servido: entrada, prato principal e sobremesa, tudo saboroso e bem preparado. O custo-benefício foi realmente ótimo. A taxa de 10% pelo serviço era opcional, mas valeu muito a pena pagar pelo excelente atendimento. Se fosse necessário, eles fazem um kit de café da manhã para levar para os passeios, caso saia antes das 08:00.

The shower is hot and strong, definitely what we need in Atacama. The small kitchen is a big plus, it’s so clean and has everything you need for cooking, even a big refrigerator. The lunch (menu of the day) is amazing, we ate here almost everyday. The fresh juice is so good! The breakfast is great too, enough for us to start the day. • Joel (10/5): Excellent Service & Stay at La Tribu Del Indio - I had an excellent stay at La Tribu Del Indio. The place is 300 meters from the bus station and about 5 blocks from the main strip of Calle Caracoles. The place is quiet, safe, excellently managed, comfortable accommodations, and very clean. The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The owner helped me carry my luggage inside the property. Ronaldo, provided excellent customer service throughout my 5-day stay. It was as if I had a personal concierge with the services he provided. The facilities were cleaned daily and done well. A huge benefit is the free breakfast from the in-house restaurant, La Tribu Del Indio Restaurante. This restaurant served great lunch options through their "Menu Del Dia" selection at a very affordable price. Google rates this restaurant at 4.60 stars and you can see why; the restaurant is busy at lunch time with local regulars. I highly recommend this hostal to anyone visiting San Pedro de Atacama One minor item I didn't like was the cleaning staff using my personal belongings. I couldn't find facial tissue paper at the store to clear my nose and decided to purchase a roll of paper towels. The 2 times my room was cleaned, the cleaning staff used half the roll of paper towels for cleaning, I assume. I didn't appreciate my personal belongings being touched or used without my permission.
• Brodie (10/5): Great accommodation run by great people - Very central, clean and comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price. The staff went above and beyond, I had a bike crash on the day of departure and they helped me with first aid as well as packing my bags and packing a breakfast to go in order to catch my bus on time.
• Fabio (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and comfortable. The host, Rolando, was very nice and accomodating. Definitely worth it!
• Hui (10/5): Exceptional - Host is friendly and nice. Closed bus station and 5mins walk to centre.
• Daesoon (9/5): Superb - Staff were kind and my room was comfortable. It was convenient to have a hair dryer in my room. When I had tours, they provided packed(to-go) breakfast.

• Rachel (9/5): Great, well-maintained place - Very clean and housekeeping done daily. Communal bathrooms kept clean. Access to fridge in communal kitchen was useful. Breakfast was great and very handy to have the restaurant there for lunch too, easy and good option to have the menu del día. Quiet location. Whilst a ten minute walk into town there are also restaurants nearby eg Sumaq. A fan would be very useful in the room. The handwash in the communal bathroom needed refilling for the whole of my three night stay. The guy needs to respect personal space.

• Gunjan (7/5): Wonderful Staff , good location - Cesar and all his staff are really wonderful. They go out of the way to help with all that is required . The breakfast was excellent . They also have a restaurant where we can get lunch . The room which was given to me was noisy . Everyday at around 2- 3 am in the morning there is some very loud noise of music being played in the neighborhood . Also the matress are very bad . make strange noise even you move an inch. Could hardly sleep at night. Rooms are noisy and not comfortable

• Joana (9/5): The best hostel in San Pedro de Atacama! - César was the most attentive wonderful host. He was always there when we needed something and was always willing to help. The breakfast was packed for us when we requested it and we could change at what time we wanted it, which was very convenient. The toilets and showers were always very clean and we also had daily cleaning of our own room. Overall it was very comfortable. On some nights I felt a bit cold, maybe an electric heater on the rooms would be nice :)

Out of the hustle and bustle - Had a great stay at La Tribu, the host offered me a shower after I had checked out and had come back to collect my luggage after a half day tour, which was nice. The menu del dia was excellent - make sure you have lunch here!! Breakfast was also good and he brought it to my room :)
• Bodil (9/5): Lovely oasis - The surroundings were perhaps not that inspiring, but it is near to bus station and down-town area. And is a perfect oasis, with a court yard, space to sit outside your room and friendly staff. Most staff only spoke Spanish, but were helpful anyhow
• Giulia (10/5): La Tribu del Indio expected my expectations and provided the coziest stay - La Tribu del Indio exceeded all my expectations and ranks as one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at! The bedroom was incredibly cozy, with a super comfortable bed and three warm duvets that kept me snug even during the cold winter nights. The room was cleaned daily, ensuring a spotless environment. The bathroom was super clean and the shower was blissfully warm, making it a perfect retreat after a long day. Breakfast was generous, and on days when I had early tours, the staff thoughtfully prepared a lunchbox for me the night before. When I fell ill due to the altitude, the staff went above and beyond, offering me helpful tips and taking great care to make sure I felt better.
• Anssi (9/5): Very good value for the money and friendly staff - The staff was very friendly. Our room was comfortable and clean. The shared bathrooms were also clean and cleaned daily. They had separate bathrooms for men and women and because there were only a few guests at the time we pretty much had a private bathroom. The breakfast was basic but good. They also serve abundant lunch at a good rate. We were able to park our car in the yard for free during the night which was a big plus. The neighborhood was quiet and it was only a 10 walk to the downtown where all the restaurants, bars and hassle were. We thought that we booked a cheap option as a compromise but the place was top notch and one of the best during our travels in Chile. Thank you Cesar! The room was a bit cold (in early august) but the two duvets kept us warm during the night.

• Tanja (10/5): Great place to stay at - Everything was so nice there. The room itself was tiny but comfortable, breakfast was also delivered to the room and the owner was so kind and helpful. The light in the room itself was quite dark, so you would need another lamp to read something.

• Mark (10/5): Great Stay. Awesome staff. - Lovely place. Great room. The staff were welcoming and went out of their way to make my stay nice. Left a packed lunch for me when I had an early all day tour. Even let me rest in an unused room while I waited for my late flight. Highly recommend. No complaints.
