• Lukas (9/5): Beautiful hostel in a prime location - Beautiful hostel in a prime location (10 min walk to Playa Cavancha and to the city center). The manager was very friendly, the bathroom was quite modern (proper shower without a curtain) and everything was spotless clean. I can only recommend this place! One bathroom might seem a little small for at least four rooms, but in practice this was not a problem.

• Alexander (10/5): A gem of a place - Fantastic place, full of character, lovely staff, the street also had character and was close to the beach and restaurants, I could park for free on the street nearby. Incredible value for money, I was sad to leave! Some people might not like music from the nearby bars, but I liked it, and slept very well every night.

• Sam (7/5): A quirky accommodation, excellent value for money and a good location for a weekend break in Iquique - Good location to both the beach and the Baquedano street of restaurants and bars. Comfortable bed, good hot shower, towels and hairdryer. Nice breakfast. Terrace is lovely as you can see the waves rolling onto the beach The style of the property is not modern, and the use of a padlock to lock the bedroom door was not ideal
• Dana (3/5): Don’t go there - Cold shower, unfriendly host, private bathroom open space to the hall and street making it not private, cold and unsecure, NOISY DISCO MUSIC, and loud people in close terrace,smokey incense butning in breakfast room, no drinkable water
• Sabine (1/5): Bad - I cannot understand where all this positiv reviews come from. We booked the hostel with a group of 5. When we arrived at the hostel, they offered us a room WITHOUT a window for 5 persons on the ground floor, a room of max 20qm with 5 beds. We had to book a second room otherwise there wouldn’t have been any fresh air left in that room using it with 5 persons. The second room, seems to be the only room with an "outdoor" window focused to the popluar street Baquedano, Party Street of Iquique. About the hostel: It is placed at the main party street Baquedano, loud noises and music from bars around during the whole night. Regarding the breakfast: We also could not understand how anyone can rate this positive.. it was just basic. If you don’t care, where you want to sleep and don’t need a window or any kind of daylight in your room then I would recommend the hostel In all other cases I wound definitely not recommend this hostel to anyone

• Christopher (8/5): Very quirky place but overall a great stay - The staff were very friendly and helpful The bed was comfortable The location was great: 10 mins to both the centre and the beach, whilst surprisingly quiet considering most of the bars are nearby The shower was good and there was even a little bath It's a rather quirky place. Quite dark and full of the owner's collection of ornaments. You'll either love it or hate it. I didn't love the musky air fresheners. Noise insulation within the hotel wasn’t great, but the other guests weren't very noisy Contrary to other reviews, I didn't think the breakfast was that great, there were no eggs and it was generally low on protein. Plus it started very late (9am) which is after most tours leave The credit card fees that were offered by the owner were extremely high
