• Daniel Markus (9/5): Schöner und gemütlicher Kurzaufenthalt in Erlangen - Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war sehr unkompliziert und die Begrüßung durch sie sehr freundlich. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig, sauber und gut eingerichtet. Es wurden sogar einige Kaffeekapseln zur Verfügung gestellt. Das einzige kleine Manko am Zimmer war, dass es, unter dem Dach gelegen, nur über eine recht steile Treppe zu erreichen ist und schnell sehr warm wird.

• Tatjana (6/5): Sauber, freundlich aber das war es auch - Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich, das Zimmer war wirklich top top sauber und die Lage ist ideal für den Klinikbesuch Man kann nicht selber kochen wie angegeben, das geht nur im Zimmer Nr. 7 (was man bei Booking nicht sehen kann), das Treppenhaus ist uralt und sieht feuergefährlich aus (ich hatte mal ein ähnliches Haus und habe auf Anraten eines Expertes den Fluchtweg sanieren lassen, der Brandmelder an der Decke hat nicht geblinkt - zumindest habe ich nichts gesehen trotz Beobachtung, bis auf die Zimmer-Nr. 5 zeigen alle Fenster zur viel befahrenen Straße, was das Schlafen erschwert. Im Dezember war die Temperatur gut, aber im Hochsommer…. Unter dem Dach… an der Straße …Ohrstöpsel nicht vergessen!

I didn't have breakfast, the location was very good but there was no parking space, it was difficult to find a free parking space in the center. I recommend the parking lot at Kaufland which is not very expensive compared to the parking lot nearby.Stairs to the room difficult to climb, preferably a room on a lower level.

For one person, it is comfortable and has everything you need. It is very clean! It is very basic, one pillow, one blanket, but comfortable. The room is very small, but again for one person it is comfortable.

It went above our expectations and were really satisfied! Unfortunately given that it was in the top floor the space in the bathroom was not too large and sometimes uncomfortable, but it was not too big of a problem!

Highly recommend this quaint place in the center of the old heart of Erlangen - The owners were so nice and helpful.My room was absolutely perfect with a little kitchen, nice bath, a table and very comfortable bed.The location is fantastic , right in the heart of Erlangen, in walking distance to the Palace Gardens, restaurants,bus stops,shops,Fussgänger Zone.Could not have been better!!! I loved it all! It was a great stay and I will make this my to go to place in Erlangen.

• Yordan (10/5): Very pleasant and satisfying experience - I stayed at this accommodation just for one night being on a business trip. I actually booked also a second room for a colleague of mine but he got sick at the very last moment and could not travel with me. I cancelled the second room after the official deadline for a full refund but, nevertheless, the owners agreed to completely refund the money payed for this room. Big thanks to family Anani! The accommodation is very conveniently located in less that 10 min walking distance from the central railway station and the city centre. It is easy to find and the only problem is that at the door there is no table saying "Old Town Guesthouse Erlangen". Therefore, you have to look for the address of the accommodation. I arrived there before the official check-in time but this was not a problem and I was very politely received by the owner Mr. Anani. I stayed in a single room and it was relatively small but surprisingly well designed and arranged. It had everything that you need: a proper bathroom, nice bed, spacious wardrobe, table, fridge, coffee machine, flat TV, etc. and everything was very clean. Free wifi, water, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, etc. were also provided. On the floor there was a small kitchen where one could prepare some simple things to eat. As a whole, this was a very pleasant and satisfying experience and I definitely recommend this place in Erlangen. Everything was fine.

• Johanna (9/5): Superb - The owner was very, very nice and though I booked very spontaneous and came there late in the evening, everything went perfectly and I was welcomed very warmly. It took me a minute to find the place. Google Maps sent me to a different hotel around the corner. Even though I realized, that that couldn't be it, I still had proböems finding the real place, because it is also the entrance to a mecian restaurant called El Sombrero. There is no big sign saying that there's a hostal, just on the doorbell there is a small note saying it's the guesthouse's doorbell.
• Veronika (9/5): I liked the details of an 400 years old house mixed with modern renovation and spotless cleanliness. - I liked the friendliness of the owners. And the location is nice in the old town. Also not far to the train or busstation. A point of improvement for me would be a fly screen at the window.
