• Bruno (8/5): Hervorragende Lage, top Frühstück, historische Bausubstanz - Das Ambiente der angeblich über 600 Jahre alten Bausubstanz und der Mut hier ein Hotel einzurichten. Die Lage ist in der Altstadt, also perfekt für die Stadtbesichtigung. Frühstück sehr umfangreich, abwechslungsreich und kaum zu schaffen. Auch die Speisenqualität im Restaurant ist hoch und die Preise angemessen. Den absolut positiven Eindruck dämpfte ein wenig aber das Erlebnis, dass die Dusche über unserem Zimmer undicht war und durch die Zimmerdecke, wenn die Dusche im Zimmer über uns benützt worden ist, Wasser durch unsere Zimmerdecke tropfte.

• Natasha (9/5): Great place to stay in Rothenburg - location, uniqueness and charm. - Lovely stay in the old town down a quiet little street. The room was really quaint, cosy and a great size! Breakfast was delicious and had a huge variety! The bed and pillows could have been a little comfier in our opinion, but overall still good.

• Laura (10/5): Charming BnB stay in the heart of Rothenburg ob Tauber - This was a charming bed and breakfast! Our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated, and we were in love with the decor in the breakfast room and throughout the restaurant. Breakfast was amazing! Each table has it's own full spread, and we were so overwhelmed and delighted by this. We had to leave early in the morning on our final day, so we let the hotel owner know that they didn't need to lay out all the food for us the next day - but they still insisted on making us coffee, arranged a bunch of food for us, and sent us on our way with sausages and fruit! (So, so kind!) Location was right near the St. Jakobskirche, which we found convenient for most things throughout the town. For travelers with mobility concerns, the staircases up to the second and third floor were quite narrow (so navigating with a suitcase can be challenging.) We LOVED our time here, and would absolutely stay again in the future.

• Udo (9/5): Sehr schöne Lage - Superschöne Ausstattung, welches das Flair des 600 Jahre alten Hauses perfekt unterstreicht. Auch der Gastraum liebe oll gestaltet. Wir waren sehr beeindruckt. Super nettes und freundliches Personal. Perfekte Lage zur Stadt und Umgebung. Eigener, absperrbarer Parkplatz!

• Annette (9/5): Uriges Ambiente in schöner Umgebung und sehr nettem Personal. - Die Unterkunft entsprach genau unseren Vorstellungen, alles sehr urig und authentisch.Ein altes Fachwerkhaus kann nicht 100%ig komfortabel sein. Im Restaurant sitzt man gemütlich, isst gut, ebenso die Weinauswahl und dies zu sehr fairen Preisen und nettem Personal. Sie wird von den Einheimischen sehr frequentiert, deshalb ist eine Reservierung immer nötig. Wir würden jederzeit wiederholen. Etwas überdekoriert u. a.mit künstlichen Blumen.

• Susan (7/5): Lovely quirky hotel but don’t take room 3. - Great location and very picturesque. Food was also fabulous with a super breakfast spread and excellent dinner. Room 3 has a very tiny shower room. If you are a large person you will really struggle to get in it. Not really appropriate for the cost.

• Annette (10/5): Rothenburg ist sehenswürdig und die Altfränkische Weinstube passt genau richtig in dieser Altstadt. - Das Zimmer war nicht so gross aber sehr romantisch. Alles ist sehr dunkel, doch so kann man sich in die Alte Zeit hineinfühlen, wo die Fenster klein waren um Wärme im Haus zu behalten und wo elektrisches Licht noch Luxus war.

• CHARLES (10/5): 14 very enjoyable days. - Quaint to the extreme. Lovely cobblestone street in front of this preious 650 year old inn. Vine covered entranced. Decor reminiscent of a medieval in you might see in a Robin Hood movie. Very informal atmosphere. Every inch was covered with antiques and artwork. Five nites a week from 6 to 9 the restaurant was open. Reservations needed. The Franconian menu was short but presentation and taste was 5 star. Pork and sausages ruled the nite. Great wine selection at very reasonable prices. Always a fire going in the fireplace. Dim lights make for a romantic nite. And the aroma from the cooking and fireplace was always welcomed.

• Maria (8/5): - An authentic house with a very cool restaurant on the ground floor, a nice room overlooking the church, easy to find, excellent breakfast No electric kettle in the room. There is no reception desk, you have to call if you want to leave your bag earlier. The connection depends on your phone company. Mine broke off several times. It all worked out pretty well though. The hosts are very nice.

• Frank (9/5): Oer romantisch hotelletje in een Middeleeuws stadje - Het hotel ligt binnen de stadsmuren (die je kunt aflopen) van het romantische Rothenburg en staat volgestouwd met snuisterijen en schilderijtjes. Ook zo de kamers, voorzien van een moderne badkamer en sommige met een heus hemelbed! In het prijsgunstig restaurant kan je genieten van voortreffelijke plaatselijke gerechten bij kaarslicht. Ook het ontbijt is verzorgd en gevarieerd en wordt geserveerd in een knus kamertje. Liefhebbers van romantiek: allen daarheen! Niets.

Das Frühstück war aussergewöhnlich - nicht das übliche Buffet, sondern liebevoll am Tisch gedeckt. Super, danke! Im Bad sollten die nötigen Reperaturen ausgeführt werden. Das Restaurant war uns zu dunkel - wir sehen gerne was wir essen.

• Sigrid (7/5): Lovely, cozy and timeless place to stay, as long as you’re travelling light and with people with no mobility issues - It’s a very cozy, timeless and traditional place and very beautiful, with comfortable beds and nice rooms, good breakfast, and a very good restaurant for dinner. It is not possible to arrive early or leave your bags before check in, cause it’s closed until such time. Because it’s an old house, the access is a bit difficult, especially for older people or if you’re carrying larger bags, and it’s a bit of a walk from the parking lot.
