The room is very comfortable, with central heating, several towels, toilet paper, and everything needed to make the stay comfortable. The host was extremely kind and always available. • Flavia (8/5): simples e confortável - O quarto era bem limpo, o banheiro era bom. Tinha uma pequena mesa e uma geladeira que foram úteis para preparar um café da manhã simples. O local é muito próximo ao centro, pontos turísticos, transporte, restaurantes. Senti falta de uma pia para lavar os pratos e utensílios, não gostei de ter que lavar na pia do banheiro.
• ulla (10/5): - Rummet var verkligen välstädat, tillgång till en vacker trädgård. Trevligt område med många restauranger och nära tunnelbanan. Det fanns kylskåp och lite porslin på rummet, det gav möjlighet att äta frukost och något enklare på pensionen. Jag kommer absolut att bo där igen om jag kommer tillbaka.

• Monique (8/5): Immer wieder gerne - Problemloses ein- und auschecken. Die Lage ist optimal. Alles in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Fuß zu erreichen. Mittendrin und trotzdem ruhig. Einziger Minuspunkt : TV-Gerät. Da ich es nur Abends kurz genutzt habe war‘s ok für mich.

• alessia (10/5): Contro le mie aspettative - posizione perfetta, in 10 minuti stavi alla torre della televisione, per la metro erano 2 minuti se non trovavi il semaforo rosso e dal tram che ti porta fino alla stazione centrale 4 minuti. la camera era enorme, me la aspettavo molto più piccola invece era wow. l’unica cosa che avrei voluto sapere prima che qualche camera affaccia su strada, ma fuori alla fine è sempre tranquillo

• Smolkova (10/5): Aventuras por Berlín - La ubicación es excelente porque te pilla cerca de las paradas de autobuses, tranvías, etc., incluso el Lidl, el personal era muy amable y agradable, el precio bien (era una habitación doble económica) y la estancia de maravilla. En la habitación había un hervidor con una variedad de té o infusiones y un mini frigorífico, también había dos platos, varios cubiertos, varios vasos, toalla de cocina, etc. Definitivamente volvería.

• Nil (9/5): Estancia cómoda y bien ubicada - Check-in inmediato y personal muy amable. El alojamiento es seguro y está en una ubicación excelente. La habitación doble pequeña es muy práctica, bien equipada y con calefacción, lo cual es un plus. Además, cuentan con servicio de guarda-equipaje. Por poner un detalle a mejorar, las almohadas resultaron demasiado finas e incómodas.

• Elisabeth (7/5): Praktisch eingerichtet, gute Matratzen, Preis angemessen - Gut war, dass Geschirr und Besteck vorhanden war, um mir mein Frühstück selbst zu machen! Tisch und Stühle. Im Winter fand ich das nicht so angenehm auf einem harten, kalten Stuhl zu sitzen.

• Dagmar (8/5): Hinterhausidylle mitten in Berlin - Zimmer im Querhaus im Hof mit eigenem Eingang, Bank und Tischchen vor der Türe war genial. Zimmer hatte alles Notwendige und besonders eine Box mit Tee und Teekessel.

• Cosmo (8/5): comfortable and convenient - Very comfortable and convenient, great location with many restaurants around us. On the ground floor, so only a few steps to climb. No issues with the check in process. A little smaller than we thought. Bathroom towels were too small

• Bettina (7/5): Gut - Lage prima. - kein Frühstück, aber in der Umgabung gibt es ausreichende Möglichkeiten :) Die Lottumstraße ist (nachts besonders) eine ruhige Wohnstraße, um die Ecke von Volksbühne, Alex und dem Prenzlauer Berg Kiez-Trubel. Die Dusche verdient leider den Namen nicht - es tröpfelt eher, was wirklich nerven kann. Die Begründung des Anbieters habe ich verstanden, konnte sie jedoch nicht nachvollziehen.

• Rebecca (10/5): We wish our stay was longer! It felt like home. - We could not have had a better host nor stay in Berlin. Marcus was extremely kind, helpful and comical! He had such a great sense of humour and such expertise of the city. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the city for the first time or for those who frequently visit. Location is superb and really well communicated. It was a shame that we couldn’t stay longer.

There were no large bath towels but 2 were brought when we asked for them. There was nothing to cook on - a microwave would be useful. Toiletries would be nice and there was a great deal of noise from other flats on two nights

• Obradovic (9/5): Superb - The space is clean and warm. It has the basic amenities for a few days of stay, there’s no kitchen but a small fridge which is helpful. The area is quiet and well connected with transportation. The check in process was a bit complicated for me, because it’s required to call the property an hour before coming there to get the check in instructions. I just arrived to Europe and didn’t have phone service, but luckily one of the tenants from the building was kind to borrow me his phone to make a call.

• Harriet (5/5): Passable - quite difficult to have some privacy as one side of the room have a window from floor to ceiling, that gives onto the courtyard and that is right opposite the bed, so whenever in the room you have to have the curtains closed. Felt like being in a teenager flat share room, nothing terrible but nothing great, too expensive for what it is.

• Carolyn (9/5): Wonderful stay at this Pension - Location was good, near Ubahn and not too far from the Berlin main train station. Easy to get around the city or walk to several locations. Lots of restaurants nearby. Clean room and happy to have a small fridge, kettle and tea bags, cutlery, dishes and table. Lots of space for 1 person. Washroom was nice and renovated. The host was great and walked me through the steps to get access to my key and room. Felt very secure with the solid wooden double doors. The single bed mattress was a bit dented in where most people put their weight when laying down, so not the most comfortable.
• Olivia (10/5): Spacious and secluded stay - Spacious. We asked to drop our bags off at 10am and were lucky enough that our room was ready and got the keys straight away! Easy communication. Cafes nearby. Ground floor of an apartment complex with some tables and chairs in the courtyard to read beneath the beautiful trees.

The metro was 5mins away and there was lots of bars and restaurants just round the corner. The host was exceptional....he spoke excellent English and he was courteous and friendly. The bathroom was a little bit small but still served our needs.

• Algida (7/5): Great, budget-friendly, good location. - The location was great and very walkable - about a 40 min walk to all the main attractions in Berlin. We stayed in a small ‘basement’ room, which had everything you needed. The check in / out was easy, and the staff were extremely helpful and lovely over the phone. It’s a great budget option if you’re visiting Berlin and are not too fussed about the quality of the place you’re staying at. It can be a bit noisy as you have people next to you and above you in the different rooms, but we got lucky with everyone adhering to the quiet hours after 10/11pm.

Just needs more things to make the place feel cozy. - It was in a perfect location, comfy bed (although a double duvet & 2 pillows would have been preferable) as 2 of us and to share one of each. The place was clean and felt safe. As two front doors are right next to each other. It can be annoying if the other guests are not respectful. We had the smaller room below and could also hear a lot of movement above which had its downfalls.

So nice to have a little patio with a table and seating as well. Also good to have a fridge, kettle and some crockery and cutlery if you wanted to have a snack at home. Loved it!

• Michele (9/5): Great value and location - It was a great value, comfortable and conveniently located near a great deal of dining options and other amenities. It was also very easy to get just about anywhere on bus, tram, and s-/u-bahn. On top of that, it was reasonable walking distance to so many historic sites.
• Donna (6/5): Good option for budget traveler. Not accessible for mobility challenges. - Friendly host. Affordable rate. Close to transportation. It’s a good place to get oriented to Berlin in the center of town but I would not necessarily stay there longer then a couple of days. It’s a good option for a budget traveler. Room was large and had a refrigerator and kettle with a box of teas. Bathroom was clean. ATMs and places to eat are close by. It was a little bit difficult to find, especially as I was arriving at night and walking with my luggage. The street is very dark. But the host knew when I was coming and came outside at the right time. The room itself was not as clean as I hoped it would be, especially the wood floors and table top. The curtains were sheer and I did not always feel like they provided enough privacy from the street. The shower did not drain well and was a step up without any grab bars, so it would not be the best choice for someone with mobility challenges. It is not an accessible building and you must go up a flight of stairs to get to the entrance. There was no luggage rack. The interior lighting seemed a little dim and required turning on all lamps in order to be adequately lit.
• Ludovica (8/5): Very good - The host is very nice and the checkout was flexible! We were out of the room at 10am but we left our luggage there and no one said anything. Then at 2pm we took our bags, left the keys in the postbox and left. Nothing easier than this. Location is great, 10/10. Just maybe bring a big towel for the shower, they provide you with towels but they are a bit small.
• Inese (10/5): Feedback about this hotel. - We were welcomed very nicely in this hotel, even though we had arrived too soon. It was very cool to talk to the owner of the accommodation, he was always kind and smiling towards us. When we checked out, he announced that we should go to the airport even earlier due to the strikes, that he cares a lot about his guests.

• Dörthe (8/5): Central, safe and convenient - Great variety of tea, kettle, mini fridge, plates, cups and cutlery to make your own breakfast. Bottle opener and socket by the bed are great amenities when you're traveling. I felt safe and was close by a lot of shops, bars, restaurants and public transport. The walls were quite thin and windows not sound proof, I could hear the neighbours during the night and also people walking by the window after a night out but if you are not a light sleeper you probably wouldn't notice.

• Jan (6/5): I would recommend this hostel for people that can accept economy standard. The location is great. - Perfect location for tourists. Walking distance to Alexander platz, TV tower and Hackescher Markt. Good location for shopping clothes etc. Close to subways and trains. Larger Lidl shop about 4 streets away from the hostel. Smaller night open shops nearby. Large amounts of restaurants. Vegetarian meals are available at many restaurants. The street where this hotel is located is a backstreet that doesn't look too good, but felt safe enough. Most of the popular areas felt safe and the people are very friendly. But be careful about pick pockets around the East side gallery when you stand and watch the art works. Acceptable standard and good size on the room. Acceptable beds. Fridge and a kitchen table was available in the room. Private toilet and shower with nice standard. No kitchen with running water. No microwave. No stove to cook food. The room does not have air condition. It was too hot in the room during the summer. No safe for valuables. The floor was "squeeking" very loudly in one place, almost waking other people up in the night. Bathroom door can't be locked.

• Daniel (5/5): Good location, but needs ac and better beds. - Good location. Close to connections to tourist places. Easy check in and out. The fridge was a life saver in the summer. Umbrellas available for usage. No AC. So in the summer the window was needed to be opened. But the window was next to a street with quite a bit noice even during late evenings and nights. So then it was difficult sleeping due to the noices. The bed seemed to be quite frigile. The noise came everytime when you flip bodies or move during the sleep, which made the sleep even worse if you are sensitive. The water for showering is so tiny which made it a bit hard to take a quick shower.
• Daniela (10/5): Loved it!!! - Brilliant location. The place was really clean and nicely decorated. Felt like a real home for the time of hour stay. The ceiling in our bedroom was really low so we couldn't actually stand up straight (we are pretty tall). I still would have booked the room if it had been the only one available, because location and price were great, but we actually took the bigger room as a treat.it would have been nice to have that information before making that choice. Not a big deal overall though.
