• Anne (10/5): Toller Aufenthalt mit eigenem Wohlfühlcharme - Die Gastgeber sind überaus sympathisch, hilfsbereit und geben sich in allen Bereichen sehr viel Mühe. Das 400 Jahre alte Haus ist extrem gut gepflegt und verleiht allem damit einen ganz einzigartigen Charme. Das Frühstück ist sehr persönlich und dadurch sehr schön. Die Betten sind bequem und auch das Gemeinschaftsbad war zu jeder Zeit in einem absolut sauberen Zustand. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Nichts, es war ein rundum perfekter Aufenthalt

• Robbert (8/5): Prima overnachting op doorreis - Prima locatie op loopafstand van het centrum van Bad Krozingen. Heel aardige en behulpzame gastheer. We hebben even gebeld omdat we niet zeker wisten of we de uiterste aankomsttijd zouden halen. Geen enkel probleem. In het gästhaus is een koelkastje beschikbaar voor het geval je nog water/frisdrank/bier/wijn wil verkrijgen. Er was geen zeep op de kamer. Verder kun je alleen in contanten betalen, maar dat hadden we van tevoren natuurlijk gezien, dus is eigenlijk geen tegenvaller.
• Robert (8/5): - Der Gastwirt war sehr freundlich, kam uns im Falle eines Zimmer Wechsels preislich entgegen. Kühlschrank mit Getränken war vorhanden. Gute Tipps bezüglich Gastronomie im Ort. Die Matratzen waren eher sehr weich, aber man kann es nicht allen recht machen. Fernseher gab's nur in einem Gemeinschaftsraum, aber auch das ist nicht tragisch.

• Karin (9/5): Great value for money! - The Sparenbergs were friendly and helpful. Rooms spacious and comfortable, good breakfast. The shared bathroom was clean and had enough shower and toilet cubicles. Location was great. Really good value for money, I would be happy to stay there again I would have liked a hair dryer in the bathroom.
• Petra (7/5): Das Preis-Leistung Verhältnis war in Ordnung. - Wir wurden freundlich und unkompliziert im Gästehaus Sparenberg willkommen geheißen und fanden alles, was wir für eine Nacht benötigten sauber vor. Besonders hat uns die Lage dieses Gästehauses inmitten der schönen Gemeinde Bad Krozingen gefallen, welche über zahlreiche Restaurants verfügt und uns ansonsten mit einem schönem Flair überraschte. Wir waren zufrieden.
• Tony (8/5): Prima overnachtingsplek - Zeer vriendelijke gastheer, prima prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Mooie locatie, je loopt zo het centrum in. Ontbijtje was lekker, perfect gekookt eitje Voor de wc en de douche moet je je kamer verlaten, maar dat wisten we van tevoren.
• Peter (6/5): Clean accommodation in attractive spa town - Quiet location, ample parking, good sized room, excellent shower, spotlessly clean throughout, friendly hostess at breakfast. The unacceptably discourteous behaviour of our host on arrival. I was shouted at and abruptly scolded for arriving at check- in later than 7pm despite messaging to say we were held up in a traffic jam in Basel. I was told apologies were not good enough and that we should book into a hotel in future. There was a disappointing lack of simple comforts in the room with not even a bar of soap provided in the bathroom & rough towels like sandpaper. At breakfast we were invited by a lady to sit at one breakfast table only to then be ordered to move 5 minutes later to another identical table by our short-tempered host! I have never been made to feel more uncomfortable or less welcome in a guest house.

Le parking est grand, j'ai laissé ma voiture en confiance et nous avons utilisé le train pour aller à Freiburg. Le personnel est très serviable et d'une grande gentillesse. La Gasthaus est très facile d'accès. Le quartier est très calme. Tout nous a plu.

If you're expecting the Ritz Hotel, then you'll have to spend more and book with the Ritz. But for this price, you'll certainly get what you need, and the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. I personally loved the vintage retro atmosphere! I'll certainly want to book again if I come to the region again. nothing to complain

• Clara (10/5): Your best choice! Welcoming and wonderful - Staying in Sparenberg was simply incredible. Everyone is so welcoming and helpful, the space is super comfortable, the breakfast is delicious. It really gives you the feeling of staying at a home, plus the room was great, the bathroom is big and always very clean, and you have your own keys to come and go at night. I had the best stay imaginable, and it was a great opportunity to have some rest and peace. I'm so thankful for all those days in Sparenberg :)
