Guest Reviews
- James (10/5): I loved it and heartily recommend it to anyone who loves pyramids!!! - Fantastic location and views, good breakfasts and very close to all amenities no lift to upper floors
- Md (10/5): Phenomenal View - Close to the Pyramids. 2 min walking distance.
Manager Islam and Yousuf was very helpful and kind. They arranged everything for us.
- Ochiai (1/5): the worst travel experience in my life ... - Nice view from the terrace. Room was clean. While we were out, our hotel room was broken into and we were robbed.
The losses include a camera worth approximately $2,500, $380 in cash, and 20,000 yen.
The items, which were kept in a backpack in the room, were gone when we returned.
We spoke with the owner, but they denied the possibility of theft, insisting it was impossible because the hotel key has no spare copy.
There were no security cameras at the hotel entrance, so it was not possible to confirm who entered the room.
We also contacted the police and discussed the incident, but in the end, our concerns were dismissed and the case was left unresolved.
We still don’t know who broke in and stole our belongings, and the whole experience left us deeply shocked. What should have been a wonderful trip turned into a terrible memory.
If you plan to stay here, please be careful not to leave any valuables in your room.
- Laurie (10/5): The stay exceeded my expectations, it was magical waking up to the view - I am a solo female traveller and stayed at Tamara for 3 nights and wished I had stayed the 10 nights and used it as my base instead of Cairo . The property is the closest to the Pyramids with a stunning view, the best in Giza for sure. The place was very clean , spacious rooms and a great veranda over 2 decks with modern furniture.
The service was amazing with Waheed and a young lady looking after me with personal service, I felt privileged.
The owner Islam was very helpful and very friendly and helped to organize all my trips.
I work in 5* luxury properties and without a doubt the service I had here was matching.
They are just opening another stunning property within the same land that will be the best in Giza
Definetly recommend this place . Nothing to mention
- Andreea (10/5): Exceptional -
- Meera (1/5): Dirty Hotel - Avoid like the plague - Nothing - we departed early and complained to booking.com. The pictures and information are not an accurate representation of the hotel room 1. Cleanliness - the cleanliness of the room was substandard. They had clearly done a very basic clean between guests. The trash did not appear to have been emptied in the room. Under the sink of the bathroom one could see dirt. We asked for an extra duvet and they bought one straight out of the room which had only just been vacated that morning. This was not washed from the occupants of that room. The bedding was unclean and there were not sheets on the bedding so clearly does not appear to be washed between each new occupant of the room. Horrible to lie in.
2. Shower - the shower only spit out scalding hot water enough to cause burns or extreme cold water. You have to also hug the wall in order to stand under the shower. Not enough hot water for 3 people who were sharing the room
3. Size of room - incredibly small. With the sofa bed which was deeply uncomfortable not enough space to actually open any luggage.
4. Construction work - there is large scale construction work that the owners of this hotel and his relatives who own the hotel below are undertaking and this is causing some noise.
Overall a really horrible stay and we ended up departing 2 nights early as we didn't feel that we could stay any longer. I would say that staying at this hotel is not worth the price (the owner kept saying that it was good value for the view but unless you are planning to spend all night sitting up outside I would avoid). They are clearly not arranging basic things such as cleaning in between guests etc.
I would advice that you spend your money on an alternative hotel nearby or in Cairo.
- Olivia (10/5): Exceptional - This hotel was perfect in every way.
The room was clean, spacious and had the best view a hotel room could have😍.
Breakfast was very generous and served on the terrace right in front of the pyramids which was the highlight of our trip.
Location was perfect, 5 minutes walk to the Great pyramids entrance
The staff were very professional, from start to end they had a cheerful & helpful attitude.
Would definitely return & recommend 200%
- Jessica (10/5): Perfect - The manager islam arranged everything to us , pickup and dropoff to airport , tours well organized and worth it to book.
The location of this hotel is ideal and the staff are very friendly and were always happy to help.
The views from the rooftop are unbelievable, both in the day and night. Nothing
- Avishek (5/5): I dont like anything except the unparallel view if pyramids - the view is unmatched , really the only reason we stayed. Evening the owner was around and gave useful tips. Hotel breakfast is confusing, 3 hotels sharing the terrace and hard to tell what you are getting for Deluxe room was way lesser or poor than some other room types. We checked in late and they were helpful but everything they say has a price.
For drop offs they book uber for you but charge almost double fixed price. Do not eat lunch/dinner at hotel -menu card charges 15 USD per item and they bring cold food from a restaurant, whereas if you go out and eat from nearby Pyramids Restaurant nearby .. it is at least 3 times lesser. So watch out what you are doing..book yourselves.eat outside , should be okay.
- Avijit (1/5): Disappointed, not at all value for money. Very high price compare to facility. - The break fast is very poor quality. I stay and a very high price when book through booking.com but got different breakfast as identified that to other rooms. The hotel dinner is 10 times higher than good restaurant price. I didn’t advise anybody to select this hotel for stay. They should charge customer very high price but not get any support. No front desk available. No proper toliet tissue soaps are available. You can’t get any kind of support. The hotel is always ready to loot their customers which is very bad. I hope booking.com should not encourage this type of hotels to advertise inside their website . Totally misguided.
- David (10/5): Absolutely fantastic - Closest uninterrupted view of pyramids
Management and staff very helpful and organised drivers and guides for Cairo attractions best of all also organised taxis to and from Cairo and Luxor airports plus attractions in Luxor as had two nights there N/A
- Takayuki (10/5): Comfortable stay with great view of pyramids - Unobstructed view of the pyramids from the terrace and rooms. It was just same as the pictures shown. Sunset view was unforgettable.
Friendly services and good facilities like hot water, kettle, fridge in room.
A few minutes walk to the sphinx gate.
They are one of several guesthouses which occupy two buildings next to each other. Nothing
- Joshua (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katsuhiro (7/5): Good - The view from the room is amazingly good. The manager Islam is a kind and nice guy. He arranged the best private local guide Sami for two days including visit to pyramid complex in Giza, Saqqara pyramid, the Egyptian Museum of Cairo,Citadel and old Cairo.
The breakfast is simple but you can experience the simple local taste that we were satisfied enough. The room was not so cleaner than we expected. In winter season the room is cold in morning and night. So you have to be well prepared.
- Marlon (7/5): Fantastic view. - Fantastic view of Pyramids from common balcony. Clean room. Attentive host. Small, dated room. Shower.
- Yaqian (8/5): Very good -
- Christian (10/5): Great! - Great Guide Islam, great rooms and great view. We had a great breakfast every morning and top organized tours in a private car. Islam, moeza and the whole team were always very polite and attentive. I can only recommend the Tamara and will gladly come back. nothing.
- Krisztina (10/5): Perfect place to visit Giza - It was as close as possible to the pyramids and the Sphinx. The room was simple but clean and everything was fine. The staff was extremely helpful, there was no problem with our late arrival, they organized a program for us the next day, so they gave us the opportunity to leave the room late.
- The (5/5): Great views. Good location for pyramids and Sphinx. - View didn't disappoint. Close enough to walk to side entrance to pyramids. Own private floor with table and chairs and great view. He has drivers that are on time. He was helpful. Three nearly four flights of stairs. No lift. Toilet leaked. Seat was very loose, we fixed that. Air con only blew out hot air first night. Was told it was just the way electricity is in Cairo. Made the room 31 degrees at night. Second night told other guy we would be making alternative arrangements if nothing was done about it, he went in, pressed some switch on the wall, re started, all worked. A bit noisy when others are outside taking.
- Wagstaff (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mohd (4/5): Disappointing -
- Shane (9/5): Better than expected for Egypt! - Location was insane! Amazing view of the pyramids right outside on the balcony. Amazing staff, Islam and Youssef were amazingly helpful and attentive. Would 100% recommend this stay. The tour offered by the hotel ended up costing much more than initially expected because of stopping at tourist-trap factories and stores with an expectation to buy something at each,
- Wakatabe (10/5): The best location in front of the pyramids, reasonable prices, and very nice staff. Highly recommended :) - - Enjoy the spectacular views of the pyramids
- Very welcoming people like Yousef
- In spite of the location, they offer rooms with reasonable prices There were too many flies buzzing in my room and it was quite annoying.
- Omar (9/5): Superb - So close to the pyramids
Good reception
Yousif is very kind guy Doos not have a lift
- Alet (8/5): Very good - Simple nice hotel. Room.was on toproof with nice view..can be a bit hot though.
- Olivia (10/5): Exceptional - We found Tamara Pyramids View while searching for hotels near the pyramids in Giza. We stayed at the King Suite which has a window facing the pyramids and it was like a beautiful dream. They also have a tub if you'd like to watch the pyramids while taking a bath. The room is clean, spacious and tastefully decorated.
We loved the breakfast with the view on their terrace. They'll make you tasty omelette and fresh and hot falafels. The chef makes delicious foul (their traditional breakfast dish).
The staff are really humble and friendly.
I am particularly very thankful to Eslam for her kind hospitality and ensuring that our requirements were met. She will make you feel at home and is very friendly.
I highly recommend Tamara Pyramids view . We would go back any day :)
- Andy (10/5): Exceptional - Don’t think about this place 2 times Book your nights and enjoy. Eslam the owner went above and beyond to make our stay as memorable as it could have been. We celebrated our honeymoon and she made it a perfect one. We loved the attention to detail of the hotel staff, the food was wonderful, and the views are priceless.
- Jose (9/5): Superb -
- Roope (8/5): Very good -
- Lo (8/5): Luxury View and Friendly Staffs - This is a amazing guest house with clean and simple room.
Nice private terrace area facing to Pyramids 😍
There was AirCon issue at night, the person incharge Mr Islam. He arrange to fix it immediately. Also, he offer us a tour to explore surround area.
It is a highly recommended to stay in Tamara Pyramids View. It is so relaxing without any hassle.
Person incahrge and staffs are so helpful and friendly😉
- Rami (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was awesome.. the view is just infront of the pyramids with an amazing view. The staff are friendly and more than amazing.
Islam the manager will go far and beyond to make your stay perfect and it was perfect.
Best boutique hotel to stay if you want the pyramids view all for yourself. Thanks Islam for the hospitality..See you again soon .
- Klimek (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bastien (6/5): Pleasant - The amazing view of the pyramids and very friendly staff Rooms was not comfortable.
Breakfast option is not worth it
- Karel (10/5): Exceptional - We had a great time at Tamara Pyramids view hotel, the staff was excellent and very attentive, they even packed us breakfast to go when we had to leave during the night to catch our flight to Luxor. The room was nice and celan but the biggest highlight was the uninterrupted view of the pyramids. As this accommodation is last on the lane there are no buildings blocking the stunning view. Can definitely recommend! You can also see the night light shows from the terrace of this facility with is a great plus!
- 泰勛 (9/5): Staying here, the atmosphere is great, this is probably the closest hotel to the pyramids. It's not very new here an - Very close to pyramids Little old.
- Anonymous (3/5): Only the view - The view Terrible bathroom, impossible to shower without flooding the entire bathroom after 1 min
- Y (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anupam (8/5): Very good - Location Food and service. No lift
- Mr. (5/5): Passable - Staff is looking for your dollars
- Abhishekarya (10/5): Very nice property. - The view of Pyramids is amazing from the property. The staff is very courteous and helpful. it was as per expectation
- Atsushi (9/5): Amazing - The best place to see the pyramids.
- Alaa (9/5): I've been to Cairo many times, but I'm still blown away by that view! - Phenomenal view!!! Best view in Cairo! The staff and owner were also super nice! The room was very basic, but amazing value for cost. They are renovating now, so plan on taking the jacuzzi room overlooking the 3 pyramids next time!
- Zachary (9/5): The best place to stay if you’re looking for the best pyramids view - Excellent view of the pyramids, you can’t get any closer to them and no other hotel is closer when you look over the edge. You can see and hear the pyramid sound and light show which is a nice addition to watch after dark. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
- Bronwyn (7/5): The manager was amazing. Couldn’t do enough for us. Best tour guide. Also, at out beck and call, always with a smile wer - The property was in a prime location. True to the photo. There are lots of renovations going on atm but are scheduled to be finished in 15 days. Then this will be great. Lots of stairs to reach the viewing balcony so anyone with difficulty would have trouble. That was to the top balcony but new rooms would not be so many steps.
- Niamh (9/5): Home from home! - Very flexible with early and late check in/out, much appreciated. Great breakfast, very good falafel. Hot water good, a really nice place to stay We were not in the main property but in a new part one street back. We did not kind because everything was very nice and very helpful staff.
- Ej (7/5): Great views but a work in progress - The view is amazing every bit as good as the pictures. The staff were great - before we arrived they answered every question we had very quickly. While we were there they carried our luggage upstairs when we arrived, then downstairs when we left then upstairs and downstairs again when our guide told us that we had to store our luggage at the hotel while we were at the pyramids. We had to press them to take a tip - the ONLY time that this happened in Egypt. This place is a work in progress. The beds are in desperate need of replacement. We were warned based on previous reviews and brought our own sheets and were then able pile all the blankets and duvet on top of the mattress making the bed overall ok so not an issue for us. We stayed two nights, I would have expected the room to be cleaned after the first night, but it wasn't. The lack of an elevator could be an issue for some.
- Subhasis (5/5): Badly Managed Property with a Great Breathtaking View of the Pyramids of Giza - Breathtaking location offering a beautiful view of the Pyramids of Giza, and that's about it. Rating 05 just for the View. 1. Airport Pickup/DropOff. To start with, Mr Islam, manager of the property, got us picked up for $30. And then he made us pay an additional $5 'Baksheesh' to the Driver. To put things in perspective, we took an Uber back to Airport and it costed us $9, at 02:00 in night.
2. Bank Commission. After welcoming us, the manager insisted that we pay by Cash. On offering Credit Card, he charged 10% additional Bank Commission, roughly around $25!
3. Tour Guide. The manager would then go about offering his 'Guide' services which as per our experience is atleast four times the usual cost. For instance, the charges for Guide around Giza Pyramid area was quoted as $40 excluding entry fees. We found a guide for only $10.
4. Breakfast. The breakfast prices quoted were $10 per person, which we flatly denied.
5. Amenities. No toiletries were placed like Soap etc. The only Soap placed was a used big bar. The mattresses were the most uncomfortable mattresses we ever were slept on. There were houseflies and mosquitoes.
6. Property. The property is basically 03 Rooms on top floor of a dilapidated dirty building with no lift. There's no security while accessing the Room and moreover, the only attendant left the property at night, leaving us to self check-out at 02:00 in the night.
I can keep going on, but I would strongly recommend everyone to read all the reviews by selecting 'Newest First' and then you would get a correct picture of this property. Unfortunately, I read them after I checked out.
- Rima (2/5): Never again! - The only thing that is good about this place is the location since it's situated right in front of the pyramids. Everything was disappointing. The beds were hard and one of them had no mattress so I slept on hard wood. The building is in construction and dirty. The room small and dirty. The shower was actually a small space in the bathroom with no curtains or anything else to prevent the water from spilling all over the floor. The sink was very small. The toilet seat half broken. The sheets and the towels had stains on them.
- Karen (7/5): Good - The view is absolutely beautiful. They provided a very nice vegan dinner for a good price. The breakfast was too expensive compared to the dinner we had, which were similar in size with less variety. Te mattress are old and not comfortable, bedsheets where not provided.
- Lamb (10/5): Exceptional - You can not beat this deal! Within steps of the pyramids, this hotel was the perfect start to our stay in Egypt. Islam (the hotel manager) made us feel right at home, helped us plan out our short stay and was overall an amazing and helpful host. You can not beat the price with the amazing morning views as you walk out onto the patio for breakfast. I can not recommend this hotel enough! The drain on the shower was slow to drain, which isn't a huge surprise.
- Tim (2/5): The only reason it was worth staying there is for the view! Once in life experience! Glad I did it! But not at this h - The view! Amazing! Dirty! Beds very uncomfortable! Food not very good!
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good - The location was really great. The owner was very helpful too.
- Jesus (6/5): Really good view , but uncomfortable room and service - Good view Under renovation. They are renting only three rooms on the top floor. Bathroom flooded after showering. Mattresses are very cheap ones. We could feel the spring in our back. Washroom shower was dirty and with the previous guest soap. No reception , one guy in charge looking for tips only.
- Thomas (8/5): Very good - Feeling like to be a part of a family. Thanks to Islam and Ahmed for this.
- Daniel (10/5): If you want to stay in a comfortable place, and still pay local prices, stay here. - The view was outstanding. We couldn’t get enough of it.
The hospitality shown by the staff was even better.
We really appreciate how well we were treated by Islam, and his trusty team of Ahmed and Yossef. They went above and beyond at all times, to make
our stay as pleasurable as possible.
It’s difficult to get a fair deal when you are a tourist in Cairo. The best part of staying at Tamara Pyramids View, was booking your guides and travel through Islam. He will find the fairest deal every time. Islam protects you from being scammed by the locals, which seems to be a national sport unfortunately.
The quality of service was absolutely brilliant. You will love staying here, especially if you tap into their reserves of travel ideas.
- Russell (4/5): Disappointing - View could not have been better and the staff were very nice, helpful and accomodating The bathroom wasn’t very big or clean, and the beds were super uncomfortable
- Nitasha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Milena (7/5): Amazing view, reasonable price - They accommodated us even though we arrived at 1am and left at 6am (we were just passing through) the view of the pyramids is amazing! And they kindly prepared a breakfast box for us to have early in the morning before we left. The beds are a little old and not the most comfortable but the room has everything you need, AC, towels, a kettle, stuff for tea, etc
- Ramil (9/5): best pyramid view around Giza - the view is amazing, probably best pyramids view around. breakfast is ok, again because of the view, better to take room with terrace. I did not like neighbourhood, dirty and smelly, I would not recommend to stay here more then one night, only for pyramids. there is better places and cleaner to stay in Cairo, like zamalek, downtown etx
- Kyle (10/5): Exceptional - Incredible!!!! Incredible!!! Incredible!!! Sooo close to the pyramids you could almost touch them, ridiculously cheap, friendliest staff one of the best locations on earth Be very careful of the street merchants outside and there's limited transportation options to Giza sooo it's best to let the hotel organize an airport shuttle 👍😁
- Mahmoud (10/5): Exceptional - Extremely friendly staff, upgraded my room free. Support me in the private trips. Nice veiw Matters need to be fixed. But it's ok
- Ocean (2/5): Wouldn't stay again - The view is great unmatched.
But personally its all the business has going for it. The beds don't have mattresses, he has purchased a bed ensemble but has the base with the timber and a blanket on top, I have no idea where the mattress is, the other bed is a childs bed with timber slats with a blanket instead of a mattress.
There is no lift so you will need to do 4 stories of stairs
The room is filth,
The included breakfast was per the picture
Free pick up from airport, then owner tells you to tip the driver 100 pounds.
booked for 7 nights managed to stay one, still charge full fee from the property demanded upfront on check in.
- David (10/5): Best location to view and explore the Pyramids. Must travel to see other things like museums. - Islam was the friendliest and most caring owner I have ever encountered. He was there 24/7 through whatsapp ready to answer any questions or provide any services needed. The ride from the airport at 4am was invaluable! He gave us a tour of the pyramids with camels and entrance inside them. He warned us of some of the tourist traps inside the pyramids and drove us in his car to the main spots instead of us having to walk under the 100 degree sun.
The rooms were fair for the price with private bathroom, closet, TV, AC, and refrigerator. It was not 1st class like most places in Cairo but perfect if you are just using them to sleep and shower. The view from the balcony was like no other. It felt like the pyramids were your backyard. You could also hear and enjoy the historic pyramids light-show provided every night on the balcony except on a Sunday. Views Views Views. I was surprised by the urbanization development around the pyramids. The area is not well maintained and hard to navigate through. There is a lot of broken streets. But it is like this throughout most of Cairo. If you are looking for something nice and fancy, I did not see it anywhere in Cairo. I would surely like to see the city invest more in its infrastructure.
They are very religious so there are chanting loudspeakers throughout the city at sunrise and sunset that you can hear inside the room. No big deal since I was up around that time but they are loud.
And of course, the tourist traps. At one point I stopped shopping because everyone felt like they were trying to scam me, but this is not the owners fault.
- Joonas (10/5): The best view to the pyramids for a great price - The view to the pyramids was AMAZING. There are no other streets or buildings between the hostel and the pyramids so the view from the rooftop was priceless. We just sat there for hours. If you want to see the pyramids then then this is the place for you. The host was also super flexible and helpful and organised a tour to the pyramids early morning + took us to the airport. Amazing stay! -
- Aleena (8/5): Beautiful Pyramid View - The view of the pyramids is absolutely amazing! We could spend all evening sitting on the patio and admiring the view. The coffee and breakfast were delicious and everyone we met was very helpful. They always gave us bottles of water when we requested more before setting out. The entrance to the pyramids is literally around the corner and if you go a little before opening hours you can get your ticket and be one of the first in the site. The beds are a bit springy and the shower didn't have a curtain so the floor gets pretty wet (just ask for more towels). You might need earplugs for the neighborhood dogs barking. Accommodation was nice but very basic, so it's good you know what to expect. I would absolutely stay here again to see the pyramids!
- Sultan (9/5): Superb -
- David (2/5): Very poor - The view. That's all. DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL, after I was at the "hotel" I was told by the owner I had to pay cash (American money). I paid the money because I was tired, the beds on room 303 were absolutely horrible. I latest in the room 3 hours, before I left. I just couldn't take it any more, I'm surprised booking.com would offer this garbage and scam on their site.
- Mary (10/5): It fulfilled a dream I had for many decades to see the pyramids. - You couldn’t get a better view of the pyramids!!! The breakfast was tasty and filling. You were set for the day’s travels. Islam, the manager did everything he could to make your stay memorable and he succeeded with us! All of the staff were very friendly. We even had dinner on the terrace with that beautiful view of the pyramids! Be in good shape to handle the stairs. I wasn’t but when I return, I will be. However, I was able to do it with the support of my husband and the very supportive Islam. The view and hospitality is worth it!
- Timmermans (8/5): A great stay near the beautiful Pyramids! If you want to the them in full glory Tamara Pyramids view is the place to be. - the view is amazing! The birds kept poking on the window for food, but the hotel can’t do anything about that obviously.
- Edward (10/5): Perfect View with Amazing Staff - Perfect view with amazing staff . They helped me to do tours with very special prices and also they care about you , your happiness and to be satisfy . Nothing
- Edward (10/5): Wonderful View with Fantastic Breakfast - Wonderful view with fantastic breakfast . The breakfast was richy on the terrace with the best view in the whole world not in Egypt only . Nothing
- Edward (10/5): The Best View. - The best view . I'll come back again and tell the whole world about this amazing view . Everything was perfect .I was lucky to see the sound and light show for free from the terrace in front of my room . Wonderful . Everything was perfect .
- Sofya (5/5): Passable - It was relatively new in the room but strikingly old and unkept in the bathroom. Bathroom is in urgent need of repair. Owner a bit too focused on selling you his guide services. Once you reject - he will disappear leaving non-English speaking assistant. Breakfast very very basic and purely local, not even cereals or anything eatable for the child. You might want to bring your own food. For the quality - over priced. We later stayed in 5* Nil Tower for just 50% more.
- John (10/5): Everything was Amazing and Great - Everything was Amazing . Everything was Great .
- Rani (9/5): Absolutely awesome views of the pyramids, and friendly people - Everyone has their own experiences, and we absolutely loved the location of this place. There is a shared terrace between the rooms, and the view from the terrace as well as the bed was unbeatable as you are almost living in the pyramids complex and can see the pyramids at all times and take sunset and night pictures etc. This certainly beats just a day trip to the pyramids. The owner and his father are very polite and make you feel right at home. The bed could be a little more comfortable, and the duvets could use a duvet cover.
- Soukaina (10/5): PERFECT - everything was PERFECT! the hospitality of the owner and all the stuff! they kindly took us for a tour of Cairo 🙏🏾the VIEW just breathtaking. absolutely recommend it, book without hesitating. + u get to enjoy the lights and sound (mapping) show of the pyramids for free.
a big thank you guys everything was good
- Matis (10/5): Everything was Great . - Everything was Great .The Breakfast was amazing . Wonderful location . The Wifi is Excellent . I'll come back again . Everything was Great .
- Samuel (10/5): Exceptional . Amazing View - Amazing view and very friendly staff and a helpful Owner who wants you just to be happy and I recommend this hotel . It's rate must be 10 . It's Exceptional . Nothing
- Viatorem (3/5): The accommodation does not live up to its promise - The view and the balcony are magnificent. I was able to spend 4 nights in this accommodation.
The double room was functionally furnished but the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The room furnishings have also seen better days. The rooms are not cleaned during the stay.
A big minus were the booked excursions. They were completely overpriced. A surcharge of 25% compared to the company Get your Guide is not acceptable. This is rip-off and not 'gentlemanly'. The airport transport was charged twice, although several people used the same vehicle.
Since there are many hotels or accommodations with the same view in the area, I will choose another one next time.
- Gabriel (10/5): Excellent - Excellent Nothing
- Rafal987 (6/5): Pleasant -
- Oliver (10/5): PERFECT - PERFECT Nothing
- Sergio (10/5): Exceptional - The view from your own bed is the best you can have. Islam, the owner is super friendly and he can arrange all the tours. I extremely recommend this property.
- Lucas (10/5): Everything was Wonderful . - Everything was wonderful .
My booking was without breakfast and I asked MR. Eslam the Director Manager to add for me
breakfast for a little price and he did it and it was a very beautiful breakfast , it was rich . You can enjoy the sound and light show for free from the terrace . Really , I recommend this Hotel , simply it's the best view ever . Nothing
- Olivia (10/5): I highly recommend this hotel . - Firstly, the reception was great. A person named Haitham, whose smile was very attractive, greeted us well and gave us juice as a welcome drink. Secondly, the manager, Islam, came and handed us our room, exactly as it is in the pictures, and you see the three pyramids directly. Thirdly, they offered us to visit some tourist attractions for a very reasonable and low price. Fourth, during the tours and visits that Director Islam himself made with us, it was clear to us that he cared about us and our happiness and satisfaction and that we were not disturbed by anything, and he was honest and honest with us. I highly recommend this hotel. Nothing
- Antonio (10/5): THE BEST VIEW IN EGYPT . EXCEPTIONAL - The view of the pyramids from my room and from the terrace was amazing and the breakfast was wonderful . Also the staff was very friendly and honesty . They prepared tours for us with a good prices . The Best View in Egypt . Nothing
- Claire (8/5): very enjoyable, friendly staff, great location - beds were comfy, location was amazing view was spectacular and staff were very helpful. the hot water system took a little working out but was perfect once we had!
- Qiuxia (7/5): Only rate for the view. Can't recommend to friends - The location is amazing. Front line property in front of the Pyramids and 2-3 minutes walk to the back entrance (Sphinx). Close to some local restaurant.
The property has great terrace with amazing Pyramids View. The location was amazing, the hotel has a lot potential, but owner doesn't want to put in the effort to make it good.
The room is very basic. Bathroom is basic, toilet sit broken, shower head is bad. No toiletry items provided. Some dirty old soap left from previous guests...... No duvet cover, the Duvet was a bit dirty. Room is not that clean........
We paid around over $115 per a night. We don't expect luxury, but should expect a clean room with decent facilities. Bad Bathroom and bad bedding
- Dimitar (10/5): Petfect! - The location is magnificent. The view is majestic. Looking around all other properties, including hotels, were much behind us. This was really really really the most front line to the pyramids. Even the light show was better to be watched from the terrace instead of the official visiting platform.
- Ndan (9/5): Best Location and great customer service - The location is the best. literally nothing between the pyramids and this hotel. It is so close to the Pyramids ticket office so you can walk in early to beat the crowd and get the best pictures. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend the hotel if you are in Cairo to visit the pyramids. I think the other hotels or hostels had some kind of rooftop cafe or bars. that is the only thing I missed.
- Daniel (7/5): Front row view of pyramids! Sleezbag host will take advantage of you. - The view from your front porch is front row to all three pyramids. This part of Giza is VERY rough and sketchy. I would do it again for the views though. The host is extremely quick to respond and help. However, he is a salesmen and will take advantage of you. Immediately upon booking he writes about all the additional excursions he wants to discuss. Then he pays to take you to restaurants and excursions. At the end of the day, he charges triple or quadruple the price to you. Complete con artist, but part of the culture. I would stay again, but say no to this man. This area gets you the vibe that if you don’t play along, you’ll get attacked or robbed. They all know each other. And the security is nonexistent. The front door barely latches and is accessible by anyone, no other form of barrier.
- Lili (10/5): Wonderful - the location was perfect. The breakfast was delicious. Watching the pyramids from the roof was fabulous. the room was very clean. Amazing experience Nothing
- Tiffany (10/5): Unparalleled hospitality, Unsurpassed Pyramid view - The hospitality was absolutely unsurpassed! This family knows how to make guests feel welcome. The delightfully lit upper patio has a 100% unobstructed view of the all the pyramids of Giza. This is a family, neighborhood, friends business and I felt part of the community. Stay here! Bed could use a mattress topper
- Danila (10/5): Exceptional -
