• Sanaa (10/5): Très bon hostel de passage dans la ville - L’emplacement, le linge sentait bon la lessive Nous avons très peu de wifi dans notre chambre qui était au fond de l’hostel, et je dirais un manque de ménage. Pas mal de poussière entre le lit et la table de chevet et j’ai retrouvé des petits cailloux noir dans la douche
• Yaëlle (7/5): Bien pour les très petits budgets - Pour un hostel, chambres à 2 agréables. Un peu vétustes mais lit confortable. Manque d’espaces communs cosy, où on a envie et on peut se poser. Pas de fenêtres dans les chambres. Bruyant jusqu’à la fermeture de la pizzeria qui est au centre de l’hostel.

• Yu Jay Lau (10/5): - Decent breakfast and the hostel was willing to accommodate a slightly earlier breakfast due to my early departure. Check-in was smooth and quick. Location of the hostel was unbeatable, not too far from the main square. Simple, easy and fuss free stay!

• Sara (8/5): - La atencion que me brindaron la mejor muy atentos, desayuno delicioso y bien preparado, me brindaron consejos el encargado para mejorar mi viaje y tours. Muy buena ubicacion la recomiendo. Deberian de limpiar la zona del cuarto mejor, los armarios mejor ya que habian telarañas y suciedad en mi espacio.
• Estelle (8/5): Je recommande - Le petit déjeuner inclut, simple mais efficace. La dame du PDJ est super, dans l'ensemble le personnal est plutot agreable, petit + pour Paula merci pour tout. L'emplacement dans le centre et un gros plus, les dortoirs de 2lits super, un petit casier à disposition (hors de la chambre), Il y a une pizzeria dans l'auberge pour celui qui ne veut pas sortir manger, ils ne ferment pas tard donc pas genant niveau bruit. L'agence de voyage conseillée par l'auberge ne m'a jamais répondue, malgré plusieurs messages. L'auberge à également tenté de les contacter mais rien, dommage L'accueil 24h/24 peut être gênant si vous avez le sommeil léger puisque la sonnette peut retentir à tout moment. Il manquait une prise à proximité de mon lit

We stayed in a room that had no ventilation and began to smell musty due to the rain. We got changed into a better room (for no cost) but needed to pay more for the better room when staying another night.

• Yang Song Freddy (10/5): Comfortable and friendly stay. - Paula was very friendly and helpful as well as the owner Juan who spoke perfect English. The room was spacious and bed was comfortable enough for me sleep. The breakfast was delicious and filling. The shower is a bit troublesome for me to use as it's either too hot or too cold.

• Jack (4/5): The property is trying to be both a restaurant and a hostel which didn’t work for us - there must be better options for - Friendly greeting on arrival. The breakfast was lovely. Location in a nice part of the city. Room was tiny. No hot water. No window in room. Not enough space to organise luggage. Plastic sheet on bed. Very noisy in the evenings when Pizza Club was on 6-10pm. Very limited places to sit for eating or relaxing.

• Yves (10/5): - Nous aurions déjà apprécié les prestations de cet hôtel dans des conditions normales mais suite à une chute et fracture, nous avons surapprecié les qualités humaines de toute l'équipe de cet hôtel qui nous a soutenus et guidés pour nos démarches pendant les 4 jours qui ont précèdé notre rapatriement Bravo et merci à tous et toutes.
• Annika (4/5): - Die Lage ist Top und sehr zentral im Zentrum von Popayán. Der Preis für ein Doppelzimmer ist sehr günstig. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Unser Zimmer war sehr dreckig. Auf dem Bett lagen mehrere schwarze Haare und Krümel. Der Boden im Zimmer und im Badezimmer war ebenfalls sehr schmutzig mit vielen Haaren, Flecken und weiterem Dreck. Die Dusche war ebenfalls sehr schmutzig. Es hat den Eindruck gemacht, als ob das Zimmer von den vorherigen Besuchern nicht gereinigt wurde. Hatte noch nie ein so dreckige Zimmer.

• Marie (8/5): - L'hostel est bien situé, a proximité de la place centrale et à 20 minutes à pied de la gare routière. Le lieu est joliment décoré et le personnel très sympathique. Le patron propose occasionnellement des sorties. Dans notre cas, nous sommes allés à Silvia.

• Myriam (10/5): - Des dortoirs de deux c’est rare et l’agencement de la chambre donne vraiment son espace à chacun (même si dans mon cas j’ai eu la chance d’être toute seule). La cuisine est très bien équipée. Petit dej inclus dans la resa et les horaires sont assez larges. Le personnel fait en sorte que tout le monde soit à l’aise et sont tous très sympas. L’emplacement est parfait aussi mais la rue peut être un peu bruyante Dommage que la pizzeria était fermée!

• Pepijn (10/5): - I’d say best hostel in Popayan. The owner is a great guy who allways tries to include everyone staying, planning small trips, going for a walk enz. Staff was really friendly as well, they have a pizza place in the hostel with great pastas and lasagna as well. Plus they have dorms of 2 that make it feel like you have a private room!

The shared rooms were for two persons and actually were like suites as both guests had their own private quarters with camas storage area and total privacy. Only interactiob was the person above was entering or exiting the room.Breakfast. was to order and adjustments made for vegans prepared fresh! Nothing. Hostel personnel eager to please!

• Etienne (7/5): Perfekt für einen kurzen, günstigen Aufenthalt in Popoyan! - Die Lage ist sehr gut. Man ist kommt zu Fuss recht schnell zum Hauptplatz und allen wichtigen Attraktionen. Das Frühstück war ganz in Ordnung. Ein typisches Frühstück wie in jeder kolumbianischen Unterkunft. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig. Zudem führte unser Fenster direkt in den Gemeinschaftsraum. Ausschlafen ist eher nicht möglich.
• Keran (7/5): Good value in Popayan - We had a quite late check in but everything worked out fine. The location is close to the central square. We were laying on top of a plastic sheet topped with a thin linen. While sleeping it was quite noisy and we started sweating on the side touching the linen. Not quite comfortable.
• Levnorkin (10/5): Best place in the town - The best place to stay in the town. Artistic vide. People are drawing and playing live music. Absolutely quite after 10pm.
• Sarah (10/5): Extremely nice hostel in the middle of a nice city! - The location was perfect. Very nice hostel and very clean. The staff will help you for anything needed. We even booked an extra night. Definitely recommended if you want to travel low budget!
• Lou (8/5): Central location, great price. - It was really close to the town centre. The free breakfast was an additional bonus, simple but set you up for the day. The shower was always hot. The big 3 inch gap under both our bedroom and bathroom doors.

• Wing (9/5): Superb - The location is great as it's only a few blocks from the main square. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. I was allowed to hand wash a few items. Although the decor was really nice, the bedroom in which I was placed had a bunk bed and a normal bed but no windows. This meant that while sleeping, the door had to be slightly opened as the room was quite small. However this is only a small detail for an overall great hostel.

• Joschka (6/5): Pleasant - Nice atmosphere with all the murals and a very close to the center. Breakfast was good. The mattress was covered with a plastic cover. This made me sweat a lot in the night and I almost couldn't sleep. Also - bring earplugs if you are sensitive to noise.

• Mteny (7/5): Good - Decent location, breakfast, lockers, and I ended up with a dorm all to myself. Hard to tell who worked there, felt a bit dirty but maybe this is just because a lot of the floors/walls/furniture needed a bit of a refresh.

During my stay, I needed to go to the hospital, and the English-speaking owner drove me to the hospital and stayed with me most of the day to help me with communication. • Sarah (8/5): Great value comfortable beds and good wifi - Strong wifi, very comfortable beds, fruit bowl at breakfast was nice. Clean rooms with plenty of storage space. Hot water was hit or miss. This was a somewhat disappointing since Popayan is cold. Breakfast is very simple. Would have preferred an arepa with breakfast instead of the simple bread rolls.
