They got lots of excellent reviews but I’m doubtful, maybe our standards are higher than - Family who owned the pousada are very nice The photos are very deceptive. You are staying in a shipping container which they don’t show you properly on photos (see photos). We booked a ‘deluxe’ queen room for family of 4 with one queen and two single beds. What we got was one queen and a sofa bed with a pull out mattress underneath. There was No cover on the duvet. Very tiny room for a family not big enough at all. Mould on the back of the shower room door as no ventilation. The hot tub was cold so didn’t bother with it even though I requested it hours in advance.
Hallie (10/5): stunning beach house with a friendly host. - one of the most beautiful properties I have ever stayed at! the common areas were so luxurious, my friend and I loved the little hot tub! very minor complaint, but in the private rooms, the lack of any type of hooks or space for hanging storage was a pain. and the bed was a bit uncomfortable.
