Everything about my stay was perfect. The staff was excellent—they were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The hostel itself was beautiful, with a thoughtful design and a relaxing atmosphere that made it feel like a home away from home. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and every detail seemed carefully considered. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or a base to explore the area, this is the place to stay. I highly recommend Hostal Bon Hábitat to anyone visiting Yopal Colombia. It was truly a fantastic experience, and I will definitely return! I have nothing negative to say about this establishment.

Large terrace,air conditioning in rooms, quiet rural part of the city with mountain view, pool and ping pong tables, small kitchen to cook or use fridge. Simple rooms. Easy to walk up La Virgen mirado Without car you will need to walk long distances everywhere or hire taxi. Closest meals are about 10-20 minutes walk. Many comedores are in front of the hospital. Wifi cut off for a couple days

Jessica (9/5): Comfy and cool spot on the edge of town. - Lovely place with lots of shared space balconies and patios, comfy lounge area and free coffee served the morning. English speaking staff were kind and excited to help. The bed was very comfy with thick fluffy blankets and a ton of pillows, the AC was running prior to our arrival so the room was cool and inviting. There were LOTS of outlets to charge electronics. Being located on the edge of town makes this spot quiet in the evening and mornings and there are lots birds around if you manage to get up early. The pool is a great addition to the space! Cold shower but honestly it's hot in Yopal so this isn't a big issue. The night we ere here the water in the pool was a bit cloudy but first thing the following morning there was a pool cleaner attending to it so I think we were just there on the wrong night. :)

We arrived back in Yopal from a safari in Los Llanos to find that our booking had been cancelled the day before due to “internal reasons”. A very poor reason and apology from the staff - more advance notice should have been given as we had to drive around several other hotels to find a room for the night.
