- Nils (8/5): Great place to slow down, relax, work or cook :) - Awesome place to calm down and relax. Very nice garden and well equipped, clean kitchen. Kind staff, decent priced. Lots of places where you can sit down to get some work done. All minor points that can be dealt with: Quite remote, so it's a 20min walk to the beach. Also our toilet was clogged daily which was kind of annoying. The wardrobe was replaced from our room after we pointed out that there were termites in it. Finally, we did not like the laundry service returning our clothes crumpled up instead of folded. There are better solutions in the village.

Bedankt voor alles:) Het is een soort hut, waardoor je alles uit andere kamers hoort, dus hou dat in gedachten. Omdat je de wc’s handmatig moest doorspoelen waren ze niet heel schoon. Douches waren wel fijn.

- Clare (10/5): Oasis in Palomino - Loved the gardens, really spacious room with plenty of spaces to chill, well stocked kitchen, friendly staff, good wifi, always super clean. A 10 min walk from the main strip but for us we wanted somewhere more chill to hang so it was perfect if that’s what you’re looking for. Great value for money. Not the owners fault but a lot of roosters waking us up early most days.

- Ullrich (10/5): Ein kleines Paradies zum Arbeiten und sein - Supersaubere Küche, die sehr gut organisiert ist. Schöne und bequeme, wenngleich einfache Zimmer. Internet ist stabil und schnell genug fürs digitale Arbeiten. Schöne Fleckchen im Garten zum sein. Die Leute sind super freundlich. Weit weg von der Partyzone aber nah genug zum entspannten Hinlaufen. Gute Logistik (kleine Läden in der Nähe). Viele Hühner in der Umgebung. Die Ruhe hat ihren Preis: die Umgebung ist etwas "müllig" auf den Straßen, aber das hat mit dem Hostel nix zu tun. Drinnen ist alles super und sicher und auch auf dem weg zum Zentrum ist alles safe.

- Kim (7/5): Fijn als je rust wil - Het is een fijn hostel waarin jij je terug kunt trekken in de natuur. Het is een fijne plek met ruime en mooie kamers. Ook een ruime keuken en wasservice. Kijk wel goed welke kamer je boekt. Wij kregen eerst een andere kamer aangeboden dan we hadden geboekt, die was veeeele malen minder fijn en ruim. Gelukkig konden we makkelijk wisselen. Palomino is een super leuk levendig maar relaxed plekje en wij hadden echt spijt dat we toch 20 minuten moesten lopen door lege donkere straatjes (wel veilig) naar daar waar het te doen was (restaurantjes etc). We reizen met onze zoon van 2 die op tijd naar bed gaat en daarmee zaten wij in een uithoek van het dorpje een beetje vast. Ook hadden we ivm de warmte echt spijt van dat we geen zwembad hadden.

Muy dispuestos y amables, hicieron que nos sintieramos muy a gusto, como en casa y estuvieron pendientes todo el tiempo de lo que necesitaramos. Los utensílios de cocicina pueden mejorar están un poco viejos, en mal estado y hace falta elementos. El aseo podría ser más cuidadoso.

It was in a peaceful location, but neighbours could be loud. The cats, the midges, and mosquito's. The rustic rooms are great, but they are open to lots of biting insects. If you love cats, they are friendly.

- Angybtt (8/5): - Adatto per chi ama stare nella natura. Struttura curata e gentilissimi i proprietari che danno tutte le informazioni necessarie per Palomino. Utilissima la zanzariera. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Moltissime zanzare (ma non è colpa dei proprietari) e il ventilatore un po' vecchio. La struttura è proprio alla fine del paese.

El problema es que de los 6 días que estuvimos todos los días se fue la electricidad. No teníamos internet ni luz por unas 10 horas en dos de los 6 días. Viajando si te pasa esto, es complicado. Muchos lugares tienen o paneles solares o luz con electricidad. Llovió todo el tiempo así que la calle estaba inundada de barro para poder salir. No hay cocina, no hay acceso a agua caliente ni nada. No es un sitio muy bueno para backpackers. El problema es que de los 6 días que estuvimos todos los días se fue la electricidad. No teníamos internet ni luz por unas 10 horas en dos de los 6 días. Viajar si te pasa esto, es complicado. Muchos lugares tienen paneles solares o luz con electricidad. Llovió todo el tiempo así que la calle estaba inundada de barro para poder salir. No hay cocina, no hay acceso a agua caliente ni nada. No es un sitio muy bueno para backpackers.
- li (10/5): Very quiet cute and of great price - Very good price for a single room and very beautiful nature. The concept is really cool for being ecological and it’s implemented everywhere. It’s very quiet in the evening. The neighborhood is not too touristic. And it’s not too far from the touristic part. The kitchen is still pending but this will be done soon I guess

- Laura Valentina (10/5): - Es un lugar tranquilo, sin ruido, perfecto para descansar, trabajar y estancias largas. Su Internet es excelente por lo que siempre estuvimos conectados. Tuvimos dos cortes de luz (es usual en la zona) y el personal se encargó de mantener la conexión al Internet. La cocina bien equipada y limpia siempre, espacios comunes lindos aunque hacia falta una hamaca o algo diferente a sillas y mesas para disfrutar más de las instalaciones. El lugar es muy aseado. Queda un poco lejos de la playa pero eso nos permitió conocer un poco más las dinámicas locales, recorrer el pueblo y conocer vías principales como la carrera 10. Hace falta que el anfitrión proponga actividades de integración, hay otros lugares que ofrecen de 2 a 3 actividades semanales como Yoga, Meditación, club de lectura, clases de baile. Sin estás actividades en el lugar estas obligado a salir del hostal a buscar algo de movimiento e interacción.

- Irene (10/5): - Es un lugar increíble, el staff ha sido siempre muy amable y disponible. La posición te permite estar cerca de la zona turística pero puedes al mismo tiempo disfrutar de la parte más local. Nos propusieron también muchas actividades originales para conocer mejor el lugar y la cultura local que nos han encantado. Fuimos a mirar los aves y ha sido una experiencia maravillosa y descubrimos la historia de los tejidos locales a través de un taller y esta experiencia también nos encantó muchísimos. Agradecemos mucho a Germán y Laura por la pasión que ponen en lo que hacen y por regalarnos estas experiencias tan bonitas. Volvimos a casa muy contentas y enriquecidas.
- Markéta (10/5): - Úžasný hostal, majitel dbal nd pořádek, byl velmi ochotný a nápomocný. Kuchyňka na přípravu jídla, vybavená lednicemi. Majitel nás hned po příjezdu vybavil mapkou a poradil, kam jít. Krásná vnitřní zahrada, šňůry na pověšení mokrého prádla. Doporučuji.

- Maria (10/5): Life is sweet in JuiChiMaMa Ecolodge - We had a wonderful time in Jui Chi MaMa Ecolodge. It was the best place we stayed in Colombia for many reasons. The environment is so relaxingl with the bamboo and the trees, the rooms are really comfortable with perfect aesthetic. lighting and because of the wood the atmosphere inside is really cool,from the window we could see the forest. Laura and her family made us feel like home from the very beginning explained us everything about Palomino with their ecological perception, gave us the best suggestions of restaurants and bar,very affordable with the best quality! There was constantly water, coffee and fruits. Thank you so much!
- FLORENCIA (9/5): - Los espacios comunes del alojamiento son espectaculares y variados, las habitaciones espaciosas y con todo lo necesario para tener una estadía confortable. Cuenta con cocina equipada y un espacio para lavar y colgar ropa. Aún así, lo más destacable fue la atención y disposición de Edin y Elena, me fui muy agradecida y contenta por haber compartido con personas tan maravillosas, volvería sin dudarlo. Se encuentra un poco alejado de la sexta, la calle principal, a unos 15 minutos caminando, pero se compensa por la relación calidad-precio.

We did the BIRDWATCHING tour together, which was incredibly enjoyable! In short, a great stay! Nb: 15 minutes walk from the center, but offers a very quiet and relaxing place.

The hostel is beautiful and located in a quiet area in Palomino close to nature (but still close enough to walk to the center). We enjoyed staying a little further from the beaten track and would definitely come back again. The staff was lovely and very helpful at all times! The hostel had plenty of nice areas to sit down and enjoy the jungle vibe. Would definitely recommend!

Having a shared kitchen was a plus for us, it has everything you need. The garden is very nice with lots of quiet seating areas.

- Sonia (9/5): Good value for money, recommended! - Was clean, comfortable bed, great atmosphere and affordable. Cooking facilities need improving. Rooms 1-2-3 (GF) facing the street can be noisy specially early morning.
- Ella (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful and welcoming hostel only 10 minute walk from the main street of Palomino. German and his family were so kind, always happy to offer their help and we really appreciated all their local knowledge. The hostel itself has a lovely feel, we liked being tucked away from the main town and enjoyed relaxing in all it's chill out spaces amongst the greeney. Would definitely recommend.

- Alexandra (10/5): Inviting, beautiful and tranquil - This is a beautiful place! The design is beautiful and there are great little nooks to hang out in. The couple who runs the property Lau and Ger are incredible. They provided lots of information and a bird watching tour.

- Cindy (9/5): Fun! - Loved the jungle vibe ! The hosts were simply amazing! We forgot a phone and they found someone to deliver to us in Gaira 🥰 Difficult with one fridge for so many guests. We did have some alcohol go missing from the freezer and a few food items but we weren’t overly bothered, someone must have needed it more.

- Léonore (10/5): A very relaxing stay while respecting the nature - It was a way to feel connected to nature, and therefore very pleasing and resourceful. The vegetation surrounding everything was gorgeous
- Kathryn (10/5): A garden oasis in Palomino - We had an amazing time at this hostal. It's in a very quiet location on the edge of town, but only 5 mins walk to the main street for cafes and bars. The hostal is like a little jungle oasis with various seating areas located amongst the dense, colourful foliage. The hostal is made from bamboo on two levels. We had a double room with private bathroom which was comfortable and very good value. There's a communal kitchen for the residents' use. The best thing of all was the host, Ger, who was the kindest, most helpful and lovely person, who also happens to speak fluent English. We went on a birdwatching tour around Palomino with him, which was wonderful. He is so enthusiastic and with his guidance we saw around 40 different birds. Ger also tells a fascinating story of the emerging eco/sustainable tourism of the area. He also organised a trip to the Sanctuario de Flamencos for us, which was amazing. Nothing

The hospitality service was exceptional; German was very kind and professional, providing us with excellent treatment and guiding us to ensure we had the best experience in town. Staying there felt like spending time in a warm, family-like environment. I highly recommend this place. Null

- Guido (10/5): Exceptional - Do the bird watching tour! We are not really into birds, but we found it very interesting and we saw like 50 species. The host is really enthusiastic in explaining everything and he really inspired us.
