• Nino (4/5): It's a fair option if nothing else is available. - The owner was very nice, helpful and available any time we had questions. The location was pretty convenient. There was a constant noise from plumbing and canalisation, the window gave to the corridor so we couldn't really get any fresh air. The room was so tiny that we couldn't fully open the bathroom door.

• Ana (1/5): No se lo deseo ni a mí peor enemigo - Nada Un cuchitril de a lo sumo 2m² de absoluta mugre sin ventilación (no tenía ventanas la habitación) que no se corresponde con ninguna de las fotografías a un precio completamente desorbitado. La pared de la habitación estaba manchada de caca y/o sangre, la colcha tenía manchurrones y era imposible dormir porque oías hasta el pedo que se tira el de la habitación contigua. Olvidaron hacer la habitación, limpiarla y cambiar las toallas. Además el estado de las puertas es lamentable, todas medio rotas.

• Sarah (3/5): L'opportuniste arnaqueuse - La proprio ne nous a pas répondu On est restés 2h dehors a atteindre,a appeler pensant que c'est une arnaque, jusqu'à après maintes reprises et on était sur le point de retrousser chemin en FRANCE vue que c'était 19h ,elle répond enfin ,sa première question c'était pas bonjour ou désolé mais quelle âge ont vos enfants, j'ai répondu et elle me sors soit vous payer 50 euro cash ou par machine maintenant ou vous annuler et booking vous rembourse, on a essayé de vous contacter pour cette histoire car 100 euro plus 50 pour chambre était beaucoup trop chère et ça sentait l'arnaque et l'opportunisme,car à 20h nos chances de trouver un endroit sont maigre, surtout avec deux enfants de 6 ans. Vue qu'on a pas pris l'option avec annulation donc on allait perdre 100 euro ce jour là . On a passé un mauvais quart d heur dehors pour que enfin cette dame décide de nous envoyer un jeune homme pour nous donner les clefs et nous faire payer sur une machine. Très mauvaise expérience pour une première fois de visite à Barcelone,une visite qui a commencé à 21h ,et vite bouclé. Le comportement de la dame au téléphone les heures d'attente en bas de l'immeuble,en pensant que c'était une arnaque, 50 euro qu elle nous a fait payer en plus des 100 sur une machine
• Joëlle (1/5): - This room was a shame. On main hotel menu, displays pictures of nice apartement with kitchenette, lights, space. Instead you end up in a dodgy room, dark elevator no working, no reception. Offer very misleading ! Yes the pictures were available, but the standard between the menu pictures and the room is a different world. All of this charged more than 100 euros per night.

• Joel (10/5): - I don't understand the low ratings because for the price you will struggle to find cheaper / better especially with private bathroom. The area was good in the heart of Barcelona. There was a small problem with the keycard but they rectified it immediately so well done to the staff. I would recommend and I would stay again. Check in instructions sent at or just before the check in time would of been good rather than me having to call. I would recommend changing the keycard system to simply just a key or code entry like the first two doors. An electric heater would have been nice it was quite cold.

• Jessica (1/5): No lo recomiendo - Habitación muy pequeña con ventana que da a una escalera, no fue la reservada, me la dieron por pedir cama matrimonio como venía en la reserva que no pedí nada nuevo y me dieron una habitación inferior y no me pagaron la diferencia, me dijo la dueña que me había cambiado la cama a la habitación que reserve pero me dio la habitación peor y no cambio la cama como dijo, ni un rayito de sol entra en la habitación, no hay ventilación y huele a humedad, no corresponde a las fotos

Apenas 5 minutos después de formalizar el pago de taxa turística me mandaron toda la artillería de claves informaciones etc (haciendo que antes de llegar a la pensión ya tuviera la comodidad y tranquilidad de saber que trataba con gente profesional)

• Lark (3/5): Small difficult very loud - Nothing. You had to get credit card and passport out in the middle of the night on what looks like an alley with homeless digging through the trash. Then you had to pay on the street tourist tax. Then you had to use codes which were tested to you to get into a key box to open door. Which door you say? Good question as they don’t really know. Second night I stayed because I lost my passport getting it out in the dark street and they doubled the rate. Not even marked by address, just some random construction site. Weird
• Sam (3/5): DON'T! - None No lobby. Entrance looked like you were entering a slum and floor and steps to the second floor were in the middle of being repaired. Temporary plywood flooring in the narrow entrance way leading to the caged elevator that was being repair. The unfinished concrete steps circled around the elevator to the second floor as you hung onto pipes as railings with construction grime on them. The room was clean but the bed had two twin foam rubber pads on it with one needing to be replaced and the other newer.So I slept on that side. The bathroom was desent and a good shower. A woman would not have tolerated any of this. I had a female friend staying at another hotel come up to see what my accommodations were and she was agast and disappointed on how it turned out to be and the high price. It has the possibility of BECOMING a future gem 💎 🙃 Please return my money and I'll try again when you're finished remodeling and updating!
• Ulla (1/5): Booking borde varna för att detta är en byggarbetsplats. - The entrance and stairwell are a construction area. When you enter through the front door, the floor is torn up and you step down, below ground level, into construction dam that leads to an elevator that is out of order. To the right of the unusable elevator is a large shaft that lacks a guardrail. If you fall there, you will get hurt. The stairs to the left that lead up also lack guardrails and there is an even higher shaft on the left side that you can fall into. Scaffolding blocks parts of the stairs. To not make a warning about this when booking a room on Booking is incomprehensible. It cannot be the guest's responsibility to find out if there is renovation work going on in the property. We have paid for a 4-bed room. According to the pictures, a double bed and a bunk bed. The upper bed in the room we were given lacks a railing, which means that it is dangerous to use. As it is now, the room in practice only has three beds. The four of us are forced to squeeze into three beds. The room was very small, much smaller than the picture showed. The balcony door was not possible to close. Parts of the night you felt like you were sleeping on the street even though you had earplugs. The traffic was busy all night long.
• Emrah (1/5): İ never recommend it. - Very bad place, really not clean at all. The sheets were old and torn and did not look clean at all. All the furniture was very, very old. Cooking in the room was a torture because there was only one stove. The elevator is very small, even one person can hardly fit in. You have to use it 3-4 times while carrying the suitcases. I never recommend it.
• Shaheen (4/5): Basic Stay, Could Use Some Improvements - The location is a stones throw from the sagrada familia. Gives a good feel of living in the heart of Barcelona city. The accomodation was safe. It was easy to commute to all other tourist spots. Host was available on call for any service. The accommodation was quite basic, and I felt the rooms could be more aesthetically pleasing. The decor was plain, and the cupboards didn’t have doors, which made the space feel incomplete. Amenities were very minimal, so if you're looking for comfort, this might not be the best option. However the host was available for any service. Overall, it’s okay for a short stay if you don’t mind a very simple setup.

• Frank (1/5): Room too small for 2 adults not comfortable stay. - The location was good, nearby to all the attractions and local transport. The host Tina provided more knowledge about exploring beauty of Barcelona. The room size is too small for 2 adults but according to the photos the room size looked big. The bathroom window glass is all crystal clear which people from opposite building can view clearly inside the bathroom so there is no privacy. The towels which were provided looked so outdated and it had a badge colour which was not white in colour. It mentioned in the booking what is included however you will get a induction stovetop where you can only boil but you cannot fry in the room due as there is no exhaust fan or proper ventilation. Also this we came to know after when we asked for a frying pan. We had to call the owner to inform her that the microwave was not working when we were trying to warm our food. We informed her about this in late evening, she stated that she can come in 30 min and check and change it, as we were tired we informed her to come next morning to come to check and change it. However she came around 10:00 am next morning to check and change the microwave. We were woken up early from the noise which was coming from the building work. There is a very small congested lift which one person also cannot fit comfortably. In our 4 nights stay neither the linen or towels were replaced and also neither the garbage was taken off. We had to throw out the garbage also there were no enough garbage bags provided and also there was only one very small toilet bin which we had to use to put out food waste in the same bin.

Sweet host helpful with local info/map - Tina, the host was so welcoming and caring and showed me the details of kitchen use and room use. There was a refrigerator and microwave and an electric water kettle in the room with pastries, teas and coffee. She also provided a map that she drew walking routes to different sights. She also pointed out where to get the metro, or taxi or bus to airport which was steps away down the street. It was a quiet clean tree lined neighborhood. Can not find a thing I didnt like.
