• Dianne (9/5): We would not hesitate to book Tulse Hill Luxury Cosy Rooms in the future. - The host met us at the property. The property was in a nice quiet area, the neighbours were polite and courteous. Toiletries were supplied. Opportunity to use the kitchen area which was very nice with excellent facilities. The bed was comfortable and tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom were a nice touch. It would have been nice to have two pillows each on the bed. The bathroom had been cleaned, but there was residue of the cleaner used on the taps and shower screen that had not been rinsed away. The bathroom had a slight odour of damp but once opened the window and but on the fan it dispelled the odour. There was cobwebs in the top corner of the ceiling in the bedroom above the desk area; in some area's of the bedroom walls had cracks of which needed repairing, and paint work needed touching up.

The host/housekeeper was incredibly kind and allowed me to securely store my luggage while I explored since I arrived early. Communication with the host was excellent. I was in London just for the weekend, and this place was absolutely perfect for my needs and the price.

Bien comunicado con el centro de Londres, y ubicado en un barrio tranquilo con paradas de bus, metro y cercanías a unos minutos andando. Super cómodo para recoger y dejar las llaves, sin esperas. Cuenta con wifi gratis, café o té para desayunar, toallas, y con todo tipo de productos de aseo. Además, la habitación es tal cual como en la foto, no te llevas sorpresa. Super recomendable, repetiremos sin duda. Nada.

I had my own space, the environment was peaceful, and everything was straightforward from check-in to check-out. Communication was good and hassle-free throughout my stay. I had no issues at all. • Suhayla (8/5): Convenient, clean and comfortable place to stay for a night in South London. - The house was in a good location on a nice street. Easy to find and instructions were clear. Incredibly clean inside, so top marks for that. The room was comfortable. All in all a good stay. The walls are quite thin so you could hear people moving around. Sound carries from the kitchen, so people having a chat in there in the morning felt loud. The shared 'bathroom' was more of a small shower room with a toilet. But these are small niggles really.
• Anna (9/5): - Really great place! The kitchen/shared area is newly renovated and large. There is a small private garden terrace. The room is good size, comfortable furniture, nice bed and good linen. Extra points for good quality washer and dryer available to use for free with detergent provided. We specifically picked this place because we needed free parking, and that didn't disappoint either - we got the parking spot right next to the house without a problem, but even if we didn't, this street and a couple neighboring streets have free parking, so not a problem to find a spot (these streets are tiny streets in residential area with no traffic, really easy to navigate). We also liked the neighbourhood - felt safe and local. Couple minutes walk to the train station, grocery stores and cafes. Checkin was contactless and easy. The house is really calm and quiet. We stayed in the room with shared bathroom, and the shared bathroom is tiny (not really a problem, but would choose an ensuite room next time)

Great attention to detail, eg coffee/tea/milk plus tissues in room, good number of strong hooks in bedroom and bathroom (those are just examples that one notices when staying in booked rooms). Very welcoming and supportive owner. I received a welcome message with all the details I needed. Maybe some real ground coffee in the kitchen rather than instant...

• Anastasia (6/5): Im Grossen und ganzen hat es für uns gestimmt! Danke! - Wir waren schon mal am gleichen Ort vor 2 Jahren. Es hat uns damals gut gefallen, deswegen haben wir nicht lange gestöbert und das Appartement gebucht. Es ist ein süsses Haus, gross offene Gemeinschaftsküche, Gemeinschaftsbäder. Die Zimmer sind sehr bequem. Genug Raum und gemütliches Bett. Das Einzige, was dieses Mal gestört hat, waren die Bäder, die recht schmutzig waren und der Müll ist nicht entsorgt worden. Deswegen waren wir etwas enttäuscht. Nicht destotrotz ist es ein guter Ort, wenn man es nicht pressant hat ins Zentrum des Londons zu gelangen und gemütlich Zugfahren kann:)

The place was very clean, tidy, and well-organized, which made it feel welcoming and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were extremely easy and smooth, without any issues at all. The location was excellent, close to both the bus stop and the underground, which made getting around the city very convenient. The only small downside was that the cleaning fee felt a bit high for just a one-night stay, but apart from that, everything was perfect. Highly recommended, and thank you!

• Uchenna (7/5): It was nice and quiet. A very nice place to stay. Won't recommend it for people with young kids. - Location was nice. The facilities were ok. I loved the kitchen and the garden. It was my favourite place in the facility and my 3 year old twins loved playing in the garden. The way I was addressed when a customer in the room next to us complained about the noise from my room. My kids slept around 8pm the night before and woke up around 6 am. Emily accused me of disturbing all the guests the night before and the tome of the message was accusing and discourteous. I felt bad and it made my stay a bit uncomfortable. The manner of approach is important when addressing guests. I e could all do with more courtesy and respect for one another. There was another issue about overstaying by one day! The stress of managing the twins made me forget. I apologized when I was informed and paid for it later.
• Antje (9/5): Ruhige Unterkunft im Süden von London. - Oase der Ruhe, zehn Minuten Fußweg von der Tulse Hill Station (Bus, Zug u.a. zum Bahnhof St. Pancras). Bequemes Zimmer mit Gartenblick. Bei meinem Aufenthalt im Juli 2025 bin ich fast nie jemand begegnet, erst recht nicht war es laut, wie manche hier geschrieben haben. Die (Gemeinschafts-) Küche dem Anschein nach sauber und gut ausgestattet, ich habe aber Freunde besucht und das deshalb nicht genutzt. Ins Zentrum muss man schon einige Fahrzeit einplanen, ca 45-60 Minuten mit Fußweg. (z.B. mit dem Bus nach Brixton, dann U-Bahn).

I just feel like this is super important for 2 female travellers. Everything was perfect ! Absolutely no complaints !

Good communication & ease of contactless check in. Very spacious room (top floor) light & airy with great sized en-suite shower room. Also had seating/table area, large tv, hairdryer & lots of storage/hanging space. Lovely, comfortable bed with fresh white bedding. Kettle with Tea/coffee making facility in room. Large, modern & well equipped shared kitchen facilities with seating & access to garden. Extremely good value accommodation for London. Not central but good value, quick & easy train service from nearby Tulse Hill or Herne Hill overground Stations go directly into central London, St Pancras International (so right next to Kings Cross which we required) & beyond. Floors in room & areas of bathroom could’ve been cleaner. Mirror needed on dressing table, or ideally a full length one on wall as plenty of room in top floor bedroom (7)
