• Susan (9/5): A comfortable base in Koukaki - This was a very cosy stay in Koukaki, a walkable distance from many sights in central Athens. Aphrodite is a thoughtful host who provides many home-from-home comforts, including breakfast items with a variety of teas and coffees, shampoo, conditioner, etc. There were many windows with different rooftop views and the balcony was a real bonus. The bed was also very comfortable.
• Marie (10/5): A wonderful location and a wonderful host would definitely recommend - Perfect apartment in an excellent location. Walking distance to all the main points of interest. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. There is a spacious balcony and you can see the Acropolis from it. Aphrodite is a perfect host. She was on hand to help with anything we needed and also provided us with bread, butter, eggs and jam so we had basics when we arrived. She even got me gluten free bread as I am coeliac. Everything was perfect.
• Lara (10/5): Perfect place to explore Athens! - I had an absolutely amazing stay at Aphrodite's place! Check-in was very smooth and Aphrodite was there to welcome me and show me around the apartment. The apartment was spacious with a partly seperated living-kitchen and sleeping area and small but well equiped bathroom. Highlight was of course the balcony offering a nice view - during night time you can see the Acroplis! And a nice sunset view as well. Aphrodite even left some food for breakfast in the fridge. The location was perfect as well - all highlights can be reached by foot and there were plenty of restaurants and cafés just around the corner. If I ever come back to Athens I will make sure to stay at Aphrodite's place again :) The only small point to mention is that there are short but steep stairs when entering the aparzment. No big issue for me though especially as Aphrodite's husband kindly offered to help with my luggage.

• şahin (9/5): Teşekkurler aphrodite! - Evde en ince ayrıntılar bile düşünülmüş. Ilkyardım malzemelerinden hijyen malzemelerine kadar. Gerçekten bir yuva gibi. Yatak, yastıklar rahat, dekorasyon zevkli.bitkiler çok güzel. Sadece halı ve perdeler biraz tozluydu benim için. Alerjik biriyim.

• Pi (10/5): A cute little apartment with everything we needed. - I loved how flexible the owners were when I changed my booking to 2 people very last minute, it was a small additional cost to do so. I loved the neighbourhood and the balcony was just so lovely. The apartment had everything we needed. The tram and metro stop are about a 10 minute walk away. Amazing location. Nothing honestly!

Están haciendo obras al lado y por la mañana temprano había mucho ruido. El apartamento es muy caluroso, aunque el aire acondicionado funciona bien y por las noches se pueden abrir las ventanas y corre aire fresco.

• Bodinier (10/5): - Aphrodite m'a très bien accueillie. C'est une charmante personne qui est au petit soin pour vous et arrangeante sur les heures de départ et d'arrivée. L'appartement est comme sur les photos. Très propre et fonctionnel. Aphrodite avait déposé des oeufs et du pain, parfait quand on arrive et qu'on a un petit creux. Il y a également du shampoing, gel douche, après-shampoing, dentifrice... à disposition 👌 Le logement se trouve dans une rue avec beaucoup de commerces, petits restaurants, cafés mais le bruit ne se fait pas entendre. À seulement 15 à 20 min de marche des sites touristiques. Très pratique ! Merci encore à Aphrodite pour sa gentillesse ! 🤗

• Danielle (10/5): Loved staying here and 100% stay here again if I am ever back in Athens. - I loved staying here at Aphrodite's place! Amazing location, only 15mins from all the main attractions would want to visit when in Athens, such as the Acropolis. Also along the streets as walking up to the main attractions there are cafes, restaurants and a couple of supermarkets. The bed was super comfy and I loved the small touches for in the bathroom, including body wash, shampoo and even conditioner. The shower was also amazing and very much needed after having showers on a boat for 10 days. In the kitchen, there was some bread and jam, cold water, eggs and fruit in the fridge and a sandwich maker and some cooking facilities (if need be) She even so kindly did washing for me and I had a fair bit. She was very accomodating and friendly! Absolutely nothing. Everything was great! Just have to make sure you are okay and capable with going up and down a small set of windy stairs to reach the top. But there is a lift all the way to the 5th floor and Aphrodite can help you with your luggage if need be.

• Aaron (9/5): Great location and host! - This apartment worked out great for my wife and me. The location was very close to several nearby cafés and bakeries. The host, Aphrodite, was very friendly and helpful. It was a wonderful stay for the price range (location, clean, comfortable, drinks, A/C, elevator). Fyi..Very small elevator probably wouldn’t accommodate more than 2 people with bags and had some tight stairs at the end, but it didn’t affect us. It just wouldn’t work for some people, eg wheelchair

• Cecilia (9/5): Very nice small apartment, with everything you need for a short stay near the center - Aphrodite was very kind and ensured the apartment was perfectly prepared. It had everything needed for a short stay to explore Athens. The space is well-equipped and thoughtfully curated with attention to detail. There’s room to store your clothes, eat, and relax either inside or on the balcony. Everything was great! Nothing really... just some windows might benefit from being renewed, as the glass in certain ones is a bit "rusty," making it hard to see the nice open view of Athens outside in winter. Also, there’s a small but steep staircase leading to the apartment after the elevator on the 5th floor. However, Aphrodite was happy to assist with the bags, in case is needed.
• Ursula (10/5): I feel lucky that I could stay again. Very comfortable place for me. - Second time I stayed there. It feels safe, it’s quite spacious, comfy bed!!! I like the location, residential. Lots of restaurants, supermarkets, Cafes, walkable. 15 minutes to Acropolis! Large terrasse with nice view of Acropolis and monument. Aphrodite tries her best to make sure I am comfortable! The place is very clean also! She leaves some basic foods in fridge, which is nice. Including eggs, wine, Marmelade etc. NA
• Irina (10/5): Atmospheric and comfortable apartment not far from the main sites - There is everything you need to prepare yourself a nice breakfast, except fresh bread which you have to bring. There is a spacious roof deck where you can eat and chill. Getting to the apartment from the airport by public transport takes awhile

Surprisingly quiet considering where it is the soundproofing really works. The host Aphrodite was really nice. Nothing really. there was a sandwich maker but a toaster would of been good too but that's a small quibble!

Nice small apartment for solo travellers or couples, AC works great and keeps it nice and cool in the Athens summers. Clean as well. About a 15 minute walk to the Acropolis and located in a moderately lively neighbourhood with bars and restaurants nearby.

• George (8/5): Good place if on a budget - Spacious, private and clean. Had a lot of amenities. Value budget accomodation. Area seems safe, some restaurants nearby and walkable 20 mins to acropolis. Kitchen had basic stuff for some light cooking. There are 2 air conditions. kitchens ac is solid and cools properly. The other ac near the bed is quite old and does not cool much, should be replaced as can feel hot.

Near supermarkets, bakery, restaurants, shops. Hiking, 20 minutes walk to Acropolis. Plaka is nearby. There is several bus stops also. Nice view of Acropolis and a monument. I love the spacious terrazze, lots of windows making it nice and airy. It’s a cozy place. Aphrodite the host is a wonderful and kind person. She helped us getting into building and apartment. Always responded quickly. Made sure we got everything needed! The last steps after leaving the elevator are little steep with luggage. But we could manage. Plus Aphrodite the wonderful host helped us!!!

• Marcin (9/5): Superb - In my opinion the apartment looks better than in the photos. It's not big, but it's very cosy and comfortable. The place is very sunny and bright, a big balcony is just great. The location is perfect for tourists! It's within walking distance to Akropol. What is more important the location is VERY SAFE and QUIET. There are some local restaurants, good backeries, and grocery stores nearby. The host is a very nice person.I received good recommendations about local restaurants. I like the fact that she pays attention to little things, which makes your stay very comfortable. There was some basic food in the fridge, and coffee and even hair conditioner in the bathroom :) It's a really simple, but relaxing and cosy place to stay. I am super happy that I haven't booked anything next to noisy Omonia or Syntagma squares.

Some small details could be better like the edge on the bed could be smaller so that you don't knock your knee on or the ceiling to the bathroom should be protected with something so you don't knock your head on it. • Solo (8/5): Easy on the budget - Pleasant residential area close to supermarkets, many restaurants and local shops e.g. chemists etc. Suitable for solo travellers too. Good security. Cosy living area with nice balcony. Stair usage cannot be avoided so a consideration for the less mobile or those with large items of luggage, though the hostess was helpful with that. 15 min walk from Akropolis metro.
• Vladimir (10/5): Exceptional - Nice and cosy apartment, with everything you need. Great location with lots of cafes and restaurants in the vicinity. Despite being busy, the neighbourhood (at least from the apartment's position) is very calm and surprisingly quiet at night. Acropolis is within 15-20 minutes walking distance and next to it are very charming parts of Athens (streets, restaurants, cafes, etc). For us, this apartment was a great base for exploring Athens.

• Lucy (9/5): Superb - Perfect location - close to the metro and walking distance to the Acropolis and other main tourist attractions, as well as the Contemporary Art Gallery, but far enough away that there is a more interesting mix of restaurants and shops at more reasonable prices. Felt safe in the neighbourhood as a solo female traveller. Lovely balcony. Helpful and easy check in and check out, with snacks kindly provided in the kitchen. Most likely the 16hrs of travel beforehand but I found one of the doors tricky to open (it's an awkward 45 degree left turn to unlock). The final stairs up to the room are quite steep and could be tricky with large or lots of luggage (I didn't have much myself).
