• Amanda (10/5): Beautifully decorated, peaceful, very comfortable bed, friendly and helpful - We had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel/B&B in Croatia. The location was perfect: right in the old town, but tucked away on a quiet little street, so it felt peaceful and relaxing. The room was beautifully decorated, the bed was very comfortable, and the room got nice and dark at night, which made it easy to sleep well. The air conditioning worked very well too, which was especially welcome in the evenings. The owners were incredible — attentive, kind, and very helpful throughout our stay. On our final day, we had to leave early, and they thoughtfully arranged for a breakfast box to be delivered to our room the night before. We ate it before heading to the airport, and it was delicious. We highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again. The only thing to be aware of is that, because the hotel/B&B is in the old town, reaching it involves walking up some stairs and through the old town streets. This was absolutely fine for us as a couple in our 50s, and it is part of the charm of staying in such a beautiful historic location. However, it may be more challenging for guests with mobility issues or heavy luggage. This is not really something that could be “better” — just something to keep in mind depending on personal needs and preferences.

The hotel was very clean and cozy, perfect for the several days stay. Not much but if I have to say the wall might be a bit thin and could hear some noises from the room right next to you sometime.

• Trace Gouws (10/5): So glad we found this gem! - I was looking for a special place to stay inside Dubrovnik old city walls near the Sea and near the old port and away from the big crowds. Stayeva 11 was just that perfect location (See photo) – near the old port to take boat trips, plenty of restaurants around, and also near the ocean where you can enjoy a beautiful Sunset. The owner was very nice and she arranged for us a pickup from the Dubrovnik airport She also helped us arrange a porter who can take our luggage from the city gate to the hotel. (Dubrovnik has steps) Please note – cars are not allowed inside Dubrovnik old city and even around the old city – traffic is much restricted. Which is great for people who loves walking the old town and escape the traffic noise. The hotel room itself was very nice clean & comfortable and included a small kitchen plus we enjoyed every morning a very nice breakfast.

The location in a quiet but central location next to the Fort wall, you could see it from the window!, the room was so lovely with a kitchenette, everything for coffee, tea, snack, the bed and bathroom was just gorgeous. Everything felt homey and comfortable, Dubravka was like family and she went out of her way to help you with everything, honestly, there wasn't anything that Dubravka didn't know or couldn't organise for you. Stayeva 11 and Dube made my stay in Dubrovnik so very memorable. 5 stars and more. I'm already planning my stay again. Absolutely nothing!

• Amy (10/5): Made our stay in Dubrovnik! - The rooms were beautifully appointed with everything we needed. We had rooms #1 and #2 right next to each other both had ample room and #1 even had a small kitchenette so we could have our coffee and hang out at a small table in the morning or we could hang out in the patio area in front of the house. The breakfast that was included was so good and just a short walk from the rooms at a local restaurant. The owner was very responsive with any questions we had and she even arranged transportation from the ferry to the gate were we could walk right into the old city. The directions to the apartments were perfect so we didn't get lost. Highly recommend Stayeve 11! Loved everything!

Dubravka was incredibly friendly and helpful and always there if there was anything we needed or anything we wanted to know. I cannot recommend enough. It didn't affect us, but the house itself does not have accessibility requirements, so there are quite a few steps to get to the building and no elevator in the building itself, so you have to climb up a few flights of stairs.

The property is her passion and that shines through in all the little details. Spotless. The in room coffee for me was a bonus and great stuff. The provided breakfast at a nearby restaurant was so good. Situated close to the outer wall on the ocean side so getting to the water on a hot day was easy. Quiet side street in what can be an otherwise noisy place with tourists, not a peep. Highly recommended.

There were lots of complimentary "extras" which we really appreciated - tea, coffee, soft drinks, water, beach towels, hair dryer, curling tongs, steamer as well as an array of toiletries. The owner was very responsive and answered any questions we had and gave us recommendations for restaurants, beaches etc. A delicious breakfast was provided at a nearby restaurant. It was all good!

Excellent location & property, exceptional host, great breakfast - Dubravka was one of the best hosts we ever had during our extensive travels. She walked us from the point of transfer drop off to the apartment which is right next to an entrance to the old city wall. She answered our questions very promptly and provided everything needed. The apartment is exceptionally well located, close to everything we wanted to see and also many nice restaurants. The unit had everything we needed and had better and more supplies than most hotel rooms. Not to mention food qualify breakfast included Nothing

• Terence (10/5): Great, clean apartment in the center of old town Debrovnik. - We absolutely loved our stay in this charming apartment within the walls of Dubrovnik. It was the perfect location for exploring the city. We really appreciated the host greeting us upon arrival and ensuring everything was just right for our visit. The apartment was impeccably clean and so comfortable. The thoughtful gesture of providing a bottle of prosecco for my birthday was such a lovely surprise! It truly made our arrival extra special. We had a fantastic time in Dubrovnik and this apartment played a big part in that. We hope to return This isn’t a criticism of this apartment but a message to anyone unfamiliar with the area. You cannot drive inside the walled portion of the city. You will need to carry your suitcases from one of the gates to the apartment. The closet gate is about 600 meters from the apartment. My wife and I had no problem doing this but I could see this being an issue for some families or older guests.

The apartment was kitted out with state of the art facilities such as underfloor heating, organic bed linen and carefully selected mattresses and mattress toppers. The attention to detail was outstanding, but was only secondary to her high levels of penrsonal kindness and hospitality. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

• Meryl (10/5): We had a fabulous stay at a lovely place hosted by an amazing woman! - The owner as amazing…she met us at the gate and walked us to her beautiful property, told us all about the city and during our stay offered us whatever we needed. Our room had everything we needed for travel plus more! Breakfast was amazing and we even ate a fabulous dinner at her restaurant. We were right next to the wall and the location was excellent. Our stay was perfect! Just know there are steps to the rooms…which was not a problem for us.
• Kumquat30 (10/5): Wonderful stay right beside old city walls - Beautiful restored building in heart of old city, easy walking access to all you want to see and do. A little tricky to find at first, pay attention to the email you will receive from the owner just before your arrival. As others have noted, there are steps to the rooms, but the owner will meet/help you. With greenery-covered ruins right outside the building, you feel like a part of history. Breakfast is provided at Rudjer restaurant, which has a gorgeous outdoor terrace and the choices are outstanding. The hostess is extremely warm and can provide tourist tips. Virtually nothing is missing and the best example is the hair flatiron in the room. Great place to stay! nothing!

Breakfast was also very nice! The host was super helpful, and booked us a transport from the airport, provided lots of restaurant recommendations, and answered all our many questions (including best ATMs to use). We definitely recommend Stayeva 11, and would stay here again no question!

• Tara (10/5): Authentic Dubrovnik charm with attention to detail in a great location - Authentic charm and attention to detail define this exceptional rental. What it lacks in space, it more than makes up elsewhere. Quality linens, fine bath products, 3 ( at least) coffee options, and an ingenious pull out kitchen top the list of amenities. And, it is located right next to the famous wall - one must only open the shutter to see it. The host is delightful, with many helpful suggestions and recommendations. It was a bit of a challenge to locate the property but the host was very helpful.

Be sure you are ok with steps, as there are some in Dubrovnik walking here in Olde Town and some in the apartment. We loved our home away from home. Loved it but need to be able to walk up steps to the apartment.

Dubrovnik is a beautiful city with many steps, Dubravka was able to provide a Meet and Greet from the airport and a porter to the residence for a small charge, which we appreciated greatly as we are not as young as we once were. The accommodation had complementary drinks and little extras such as nail poilish remover plus other unexpected extras for my wife that showed the effort made to make her guest feel at home. The host was always there to assist if we had any questions or needed any assistance. The location is quiet and perfectly placed to all sights of the city. A beautifully renovated historical stone house that the host is very proud of. Highly recommended.

• Jessica (10/5): Best Stayeva! ;) No, but really!! - We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Stayeva 11! The owners and their daughter were very communicative, sweet and accommodating. We ran into an issue with our friend’s flight being delayed (and so our check in was delayed), but they were flexible and kind, even with the plans changing a couple of times. The location is 12/10, the room was clean and comfortable, the food recommendations were spot on, and they provided anything and everything you could need or want. We ran into a problem with the air conditioning (likely user error) and they came and fixed it within a couple of hours. The towels and robes were embroidered and it felt like a high end boutique hotel. The towels even smelled like they were washed in lavender soap. The coffee shop at the bottom of the steps was really tasty, as was the gelato place down another set of stairs nearby. We had an incredible stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book there again!

• Wasan (10/5): Lovely Place - The apartment is very cozy. The host is absolutely sweet and very friendly. She also gave us tips and recommendations about where to go and the good restaurants. Every piece of furniture in the apartment is of high quality. The mattress in particular is to die for!

• Lindsay (10/5): Home away from home - Stayeva 11 was one of the most special apartments we have ever booked for a vacation. Aesthetically beautiful and charming with many personal touches. The owners were very welcoming and thought of every small detail to make our stay comfortable. It's located just inside the city walls of Old Town Dubrovnik, making it easy to get around and explore. The Old Town can be loud at night but the apartment was quiet and calm. We hope to return one day.
• Craig (8/5): Lovely. - So unique and nicely done. We will try to return. Need a little easier way to manage luggage. The room is small so there are few places to open your luggage, access it, and still be able to walk around int he room and sit/lay down. That is being very picky on a creative, clean, very nice room, however.
• David (10/5): We had a fantastic stay supported by wonderful communication from Dubravka. - A very cute apartment in the old town which was spotless, comfortable and supported by amazing hosts. Highly recommended. Hard floors which mean you can hear your neighbours if they’re not considerate.
• Dan (10/5): Fantastic time with a great host - This is a fantastic location within the Old city walls. Easy to get to everything. Host was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable on local things to do. We used both apartments with my family and loved each of them. Dubravka made us feel part of her family. It is a little tough to get in and out of with a lot of luggage, but that was also part of the charm.

The apartment contained a full, compact, concealed kitchen for meal prep, if desired. Loved the clever design behind two cupboard doors. • Alison (10/5): Exceptional - Our apartment was delightful, filled with generous items to make us feel welcome. The location is fantastic, very close to swimming beaches, restaurants, the main Old City area, and is tucked away in a quiet, sunny area. We loved staying here!
• Frederick (10/5): Perfect location inside the Walls of Dubrovnik with an even more perfect host! - Perfect location with an even more perfect host! Our room was a 1 minute walk from an entrance to the Wall, 3 minutes to a swimming spot, and being inside the Wall gave us easy access to all the shops and restaurants. The room was well furnished with high-end fixtures, very comfortable bedding and had all the amenities of a five-star hotel. Our host, Dubravka, was really the best! She accommodated us beautifully even though we arrived 6 hours earlier than originally planned. Her son Tony has a company and provided round-trip transport to and from the Dubrovnik airport for us, even including storing our heavy bags, so we could walk comfortably carrying only light luggage to our room (no cars allowed inside the Wall). Dubravka’s recommendations of restaurants (especially Trattoria Carmen 😋) and shops were of great help to us, and showcased the best of Dubrovnik. She even helped us pay our parking tickets that we received in other towns (Split, Ston)😆! After spending two wonderful weeks driving throughout Croatia, we ended on a high-note in Dubrovnik with no car!

The location of the property was right in the old town and we could walk to most places we wanted to go. The room was clean and tidy and it was very well arranged although the size of the room was not big. The parking. We had to park outside of old town and took a taxi to the property

• F (9/5): Superb - Great location for seeing the old city. Parking in Dubrovnik is very expensive and inconvenient. If you have a car leave it a long way away and take a bus to the old city.
