- Natasha (3/5): Disappointment - I like the owner, Siran. She was friendly and accommodating during breakfast. What I didn’t like: When we arrived around 5 pm, the welcome felt quite impersonal. A woman at the door did not greet us warmly, and I had the impression we were an inconvenience rather than guests. We were asked to wait, and later her husband spoke with us. The interaction felt very transactional, without the sense of “welcome to our home” that I was expecting. When we asked for help with our bags, as I had injured my back and could not lift anything, we were told it was “not included in the service,” although he did eventually help. This reinforced the feeling that the stay was mainly transactional rather than hospitable. My expectation was to experience more of a family-style, authentic guesthouse atmosphere, which unfortunately was not fully met. The sound insulation was also a significant issue. That night there was a minor earthquake, which made the building feel quite unstable, and overall the noise from adjacent rooms and downstairs was clearly audible. I had to take sleeping medication and use earplugs to be able to rest. In the morning, when I raised the possibility that improving insulation might help, the response felt defensive, with explanations about how many guests had stayed there and how others had enjoyed it, rather than an openness to feedback. I do not recommend to stay at this place and encourage everyone to consider so many wonderful options in this beautiful area.

- Tabea (7/5): Sehr familiärer und einfacher Aufenthalt - Kleines und einfaches Guesthouse, sofern man nicht viel erwartet. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und eine gute Köchin. Wir haben ein Abendessen mit selbst gemachtem Wein angeboten bekommen. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet und die meisten Zutaten stammen aus ihrem eigenen Garten. Die Gastgeberin versteht leider nur russisch. Mit Googleübersetzer ist das aber kein Problem. Das Bett knarzt leider sehr laut.

Комната маленькая, но есть все, что нужно, чтобы переночевать одну ночь: кровать с чистым постельным бельем, полотенца, душ, туалет, гель для душа, зубные щетки, вешалка для одежды. Завтрак традиционный армянский: лаваш, сыр, домашний йогурт, домашние яйца, персиковый джем. На обед был очень вкусный куриный суп. Хорошо слышно соседей и лай собак ночью, шторы не блокируют солнечный свет, утром он будит раньше, чем хотелось бы.

- David (10/5): - Die Familie ist sehr Freundlich und für Hilfe und Gespräche offen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und es wird auf Vegetarier geachtet. Die Zimmer sind Ordentlich. Wenn ich nochmal in der Region bin, komm ich auf jeden Fall hier her. Im Hof wird momentan gebaut. Dadurch kann ist es morgens schon recht laut.

- Marie-Louise (10/5): Great place to stay! - We had a great time at Siran Guesthouse! Siran and her family are wonderful hosts: very friendly and warm hearted people. We had a problem with our car and the family helped us very kindly in various ways. Thank you, Karo! Siran is a wonderful cook: if you order dinner: she will create a delicious armenian meal! Breakfast aswell is very tasty and plentiful. Her daughter Sona is an especially lovely person, very helpful and speaks very well english, so communication is easy. I enjoyed very much spending time with her! And the room is perfecty clean and the bed very comfortable.

- Olga (9/5): Je to jedno z míst, kam se určitě ráda vrátím. - Bydleli jsme v přístavbě postavené z kontejneru. Pokoj byl dostatečně velký s malým balkonem a prostornou koupelnou. Kromě snídaně jsme využili i možnost večeři. Jídlo bylo výborné. Dokonce jsme si objednali stejnou polévku i na další den. Byla opravdu výborná. Snídaně byly bohaté, domácí sýr, jogurt, marmeláda, ovoce a zelenina. Výborné místo pro poznávání zajímavosti v okolí Areni. Majitelé byli velmi ochotní a vřelí. Nebylo nic zásadního.

Матрасы удобные, спать действительно комфортно — после дороги это особенно важно. Хозяева очень вежливые, доброжелательные и всегда готовы помочь с любыми вопросами, создают по-настоящему тёплую и домашнюю атмосферу. Отдельно хочется отметить кухню: меню можно обсудить заранее в мессенджере или напрямую с хозяином, что очень удобно. Все блюда готовятся свежими, по факту заказа, и это чувствуется — всё невероятно вкусно и по-домашнему. При желании можно заказать и вкусный вегетарианский ужин. Обязательно попробуйте их домашнее вино из собственного виноградника прямо за окном — это особая изюминка этого места.

- Olga (10/5): - Отличный гостевой дом. Очень радушные хозяева. Заранее нам написали, предложили ужин и по приезде он нас уже ждал. Было очень вкусно. Великолепное гранатовое вино и персиковый коньяк( и то и другое купили домой). Сам номер не большой, но комфортный. Удобная кровать и подушки. Чисто! Специально для нас включили отопление, хоть мы и были единственными гостями. Так что спали в теплоте и комфорте. Редко когда встретишь таких гостеприимных и отзывчивых хозяев. Рады, что тут остановились.

Чистый и спокойный номер. Когда мы приехали заселяться, уже поздно вечером и уточнили где можно перекусить, нас пригласили на вкусный ужин: салат, соленья,суп, компот и выбрали несколько вин на дегустацию. Душевное место с красивыми видами из окна на виноградники, сад персиков и горы.

- Ralph (7/5): Schöner Ausblick vom Balkon - Der Ausblick aus unserem Zimmer war schön und das Bett war bequem. Es war praktisch, in der Unterkunft ein Abendessen zu bekommen. Der angebotene hauseigene Wein war sehr gut. Die Gastgeberinnen waren stets bemüht freundlich zu sein. Leider war unser Zimmer sehr hellhörig und wir konnten die Gespräche unserer Nachbarn bis spät in die Nacht verfolgen. Scheint die Bauweise zu sein, andere Gäste haben dies ebenfalls kommentiert.

La habitación está muy bien y limpia, todo lo que se necesita, pero la familia es muy amable, el lugar es muy tranquilo con sus propias plantas, y te hacen sentir muy bienvenido. Cocinaron mi almuerzo y mi cena exquisito y muy casero. Y el desayuno también espectacular. RECOMENDADISIMO!

Domácí arménská kuchyně byla výborná a porce, že jsme je ani neuměli sníst. K tomu všemu jsme měli možnost ochutnat místní víno, které nám taky moc chutnalo. Komunikovali jsme lámanou angličtinou a ruštinou, ale o to srdečnější celý náš pobyt byl. Nemáme co vytknout.

I met Siran, the Guest House’s owner in the bus to Areny, and she told me about her place… I had plans to go somewhere else first, but on my way back I remembered the invitation and came to this lovely Guest House. I loved everything about this place, the house itself is very beautiful, the family has their own vineyard and they make their own wine, the food is also very good and the village itself is really beautiful. Hope to come here again with my family

- Jan (9/5): - Ubytovanie je v rodinnom dome adaptovanom na penzión. Dom stojí na typickej vidieckej ulici so záhradami a vinohradmi umiestnenými za domami. Izby sú skôr jednoduchšie, čisté, štandardne vybavené. Chladnička je zdieľaná viacerými izbami. Určite zlatým klincom je výborné domáce víno a veľmi chutná kuchyňa. Nemožno vynechať domácu hostiteľku s rodinou. Všetci milí, priateľskí a nápomocní privítal by som chladničku v každej izbe. Ale inak super
- Taisiya (10/5): Хороший гостевой дом рядом с винным заводом - Очень уютно, приятные чистые комнаты с отдельными санузлами. Угощали вкусным вином и персиками, мы даже взяли с собой немного) спасибо большое за гостеприимство, будем рекомендовать знакомым!

- Carla (10/5): La base perfetta per un'ottima gita enogastronomica - Siran guest House è un posto perfetto per rilassarsi ed esplorare il vicinissimo monastero di Noravank. I proprietari sono carinissimi, la colazione è super abbondante tanto che è difficile poi pranzare, e fatta tutta di ottimo cibo. Anche le cene con loro sono ottime, e il vino non manca mai. Inoltre ho avuto un problema col mio drone e sono stati carini ad aiutarmi a cercarlo oltre a offrirmi una soluzione per arrivare a Yerevan al termine della mia permanenza ad Areni. Il posto è silenzioso, con vista, ottimo per rilassarsi e mangiare bene. Da Siran ci si sente davvero a casa.

- Juan (10/5): Lovely family, amazing place and delicious food and wine! - The family who runs the guest house can't be nicer. Always willing to help, like arranging car to Noravank or a mashrutka back to Yerevan. They serve delicious and hand made food, plus wine from their vineyard. I definitely recommend staying there if you want to have an amazing time in Areni!

- Marcin (10/5): - Beautiful view from the window. Rooms were super clean and renovated. The family was very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, harvested in the garden near the vinery. Both breakfast and dinner were the best meals we had in Armenia, so full of flavour. Do not miss it! Everything was perfect!

- Elena (10/5): Genuinità e accoglienza - Siamo stati accolti con estrema gentilezza. Appena arrivati ci hanno fatti accomodare nella loro deliziosa veranda, dove abbiamo avuto modo di assistere alla preparazione delle conserve di pesche, facendoci assaporare una dimensione di sana lentezza e ci ha riportati indietro nel tempo. Ci hanno offerto una tisana di benvenuto e delle pesche di loro produzione. Abbiamo deciso di cenare lì e abbiamo fatto bene... era tutto buonissimo e molti ingredienti erano di loro produzione (compreso il vino, buonissimo!) La stanza bella e pulitissima. La zona in una posizione strategica e vicinissima a luoghi meravigliosi da esplorare. Insomma, è stato davvero un peccato essere rimasti soltanto una notte (purtroppo avevamo già tutto organizzato per i giorni successivi) ma terremo nel cuore questo luogo di pace e bellezza. Grazie! Nulla. È stato tutto positivo.

- Raphael (10/5): Großartiges Essen, toller Service, schöne Zimmer - ein mit Liebe geführtes Gästehaus - Die beste Übernachtung in einem B&B, die wir in Armenien hatten: Wir kamen gegen 21 Uhr an und bekamen ein köstliches Abendessen im wirklich schönen Speisesaal mit Blick auf den Weingarten serviert, auch das Frühstück am nächsten Tag war außergewöhnlich gut. Besonders bemerkenswert war der freundliche und zugleich professionelle Service, was das Essen und die Zimmer betraf. Die Übernachtung selbst war ebenfalls toll – das Bad, makellos, die Betten bequem und nicht zu weich. Ein mit Herz und Seele geführtes Gästehaus, ein Familienbetrieb. Wir hoffen, bald wiederzukommen!
