Guest Reviews
- Ibrahim (9/5): Superb -
- Shamima (1/5): Bad - I only liked the location. I made a three-night reservation. Every few of days, I have to travel to Dublin. I reserve rooms at a number of hotels, guest houses, and apartments in Dublin while I'm here. I had never gone through what I did here in that location before. The issues I encountered are listed below.
*The noise from the next room is too loud.
* The kitchen and restrooms have cold water.
* A dirty bed.
* Too many worn-out pillowcases, blankets, and bed linens.
* The curtains are ripped off. * There is no hand washing available in the kitchen or the adjacent washroom
* The restroom does not have shower gel.
* On the morning of my second day there was no tissue in the restroom.
I phoned the number they provided after booking twice after running into all of these issues. Regretfully, nobody got it, so I texted using the booking messaging feature. I received an message from someone asked me to report and gave me an email. I immediately sent an email to" accommodationking@gmail.com" to report the incident. Regretfully, they did not respond as well. A horrible experience for three nights.
- Selengee (8/5): Very good -
- Ian (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ian (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kerry (1/5): Bad - There was no TV in room
Other people fighting the 2 nights we stayed
- Mayrinfer (3/5): It's not what it seems - The place is very well located. If you go by car, there is a place to park. And you also have public transportation nearby. The structure of the place is very neglected inside, the place is very cold, there is no access to heating because it is a central heater. The room has good space for two adults and two children, but everything is too used, and the bed and the pillows look no nice, the curtain was falling down. There is a kitchen, but the kitchen only had 2 burners working, things were not very clean, there were almost no cutlery or plates. The products such as coffee and tea, among others to offer to the guests seemed to be out of date, and not trusted. The kettle was too dirty inside. The bathroom downstairs, which is where the shower is, had a clogged drain and the water goes down slowly.
- Olha (4/5): Disappointing - Location is good. There're some supermarkets nearby and the bus stations. Poor and old bedding, not enough pots and crockery.
- Coffi (10/5): Exceptional - overall management
- Mohammad (1/5): - heater was not working, I called customer service but she answered 4 hours after at 8.20 pm. my two kids get cold, we can not sleep whole night. dirty linens, dirty place and it was not same like pictures was. In one word, that place cheated with my money and give us hard time. I didn't like anything.
- Jose (7/5): Good -
- Javier (6/5): Acceptable - Location: 15/20 minutes from city center and very well connected (lots of buses taking you there). The área is also good, there are many places to get a gourmet breakfast just around the corner and even cool bars in the neighbourhood. Recommended for a "local night" The apartament was just ok. We paid for a single bedroom with shared bathroom and that is what we got. Now there was just only one bathroom for all guests (besides a little toilett with no bathroom) and it was just too small. You are supposed to take a shower and get dressed in the bathroom when it is shared, and they are usually bigger when that is the case. There was no place in the bathroom to, at least, place a chair to put your clothes. The house is old, which could be charming and cozy but they didn't bother to modernize the rooms, at least, a bit. There is potential to do something better without spending tons of money. The place is supposed to be "cheap" because of the demand, now I had stayed at a 3-star hotel localated in the city town the night before for the same price...
- Mohammed (9/5): Superb - It's very quiet Answer the call
- Safiya (7/5): Good -
- Pat (1/5): Bad - Nothing Everything ..its a dump..
- Srinadh (8/5): Very good -
- Pat (1/5): Bad - Nothing Front Door ock didn't work... heating wasn't working some nights ...drafty... jax doesn't flush properly ...linen was not clean... ..electric lead hanging out window .wafer thin walls...
- Muse (9/5): Superb - Location Heating
- Behbud (8/5): Very good -
- Esmee (5/5): Can't recommend it but it fulfills its most basic purposes. - Definitely doable if you're only there to sleep (beds are decently comfortable and clean enough far as we noticed) but can't recommend it. Toilets struggle to flush and therefore clog easily, could be cleaner and you do hear every single thing that happens throughout the property. Also poorly isolated temperature wise,, so bring blankets or cozy pajamas.
- Samuel (7/5): Could be better could be worse - Good communication from the host, easy access, room was a good size, good location. Inside property is a bit dated could do with a lick of paint here and there/ update furniture a little but for the price you can’t complain.
- Skoraszewski (7/5): Two nights in Dublin. - Very good location. Warm, dry and clean. No smell and no bugs. I felt safe. Thumbs up from me. At this price it's hard to have high expectations so there's nothing to complain about.
- William (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kenneth (1/5): Bad - No breakfast Nothing at all
- Roselyne (7/5): Great place for the price, especially for Dublin! - The property is in a fantastic location, within walking distance to the city center. The room itself is spacious, offering plenty of comfort. The place could use some maintenance. The door near the shower room has rot and needs replacement. The cooker isn’t working, but the oven is functional, so I’m still able to cook my meals.
- Gallamora (7/5): Good enough for the price. Peaceful nights as it is far enough from the pubs and busy traffics. What we dont like is the - We like the location far enough from the city center for us to enjoy peaceful area which is far enough from the noisy pubs and busy traffic. The toilets are clogged. Hard to flush. No towels available upon check in
- Yaair (10/5): Exceptional -
- Harrison (6/5): Pleasant -
- Nicolae (8/5): Very good -
- Maigurova (8/5): Also it was a lot of hair each day in the shower, no one cleaned it. Everything else was very nice. - Location and availability of the owner Neighbours were too loud. It would be nice to put a note somewhere in the apartment with the request to keep quiet and respect each other , otherwise to give a fine.
- Janna (6/5): It was basic but adequate. - Breakfast not included. The code system is nuts. But we managed.
- Oliwia (8/5): Very good -
- Eyad (6/5): Pleasant -
- Iryna (4/5): Disappointing - No hot water in the taps, in the shower either boiling or ice cold. The bed linen was not dirty
- Aaron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (1/5): Won’t be back - Very little Many things but hot water in the toilets would be number 1 dislike
- Francisca (2/5): Way too expensive accommodation - I liked the size of my (family) room, but then I was all by myself. I liked the fresh towels + toiletries. I loved the breakfast and lunch place across the street. It's a cold house, luckily the weather was warm. I could not hang my clothes because the closet would cave in. The electronic lock on the front door didn't work most of the time. There is no reception desk that can help you if you cannot enter the building. I noticed that the toilet had not been cleaned once during my stay (3 nights). The area does not feel safe at night since it's dark and desolate. You must pass through the shared kitchen in order to go to the bathroom. Lights would not automatically turn on in the bathroom/kitchen area if you are there late at night. You can feel each and every mattress spring. Lumpy pillows.
- Martin (5/5): Passable - Clean bedding and towels. The house reminded me of my student accommodation. Just a room, all facilities shared.
- Reddington (10/5): You going brickers on a bike pal YURPP! - Cheap and cheerful. Pay for what you get. Near croke park. Beside shops and restaurants Nothing it was perfect
- Anita (4/5): Not our best experience. - I liked the location and the price. The owner provided a lot of information. My sheets were very worn and pilled. We were tired after traveling but it was hard to sleep because there were other renters who were talking very loud . Then I went into the kitchen to make a hot tea and there was a big slug on the floor near the dishwasher.
- Ashley (6/5): Pleasant -
- Magreth (4/5): Didn’t meet expectations as per photos advertised online, good location, overpriced for the facility - Fair cleanness for a shared house Poor facilities, marked walls, over used beddings and towels, stained bed.
- Virginie (1/5): Bad -
- Jovin (1/5): Bad - Toilet never flush!!! Everytime you go in there its a mess, how does this even make to booking.com? ??
- Friederike (5/5): Not the worst place I've stayed in but personally not worth the money paid unfortunately. - The location is excellent. Very central & close to shops, modes of transport & city centre.
Very easy to come & go from using front door keypad.
Owner was very informative in email correspondence about popular tourism attractions & explained meticulously how to get everywhere using public transport. • Wallapaper ripped in places & very grubby.
• Skirting all over the room very grubby.
• Used contact lenses on night stand from I'm assuming previous tenant which indicates room was not cleaned thoroughly between use.
• Bottom of bed/mattress mouldy.
• Bed advertised as double but both me and partner had our feet hanging off the edge & bruised hips from abrasive springs inside mattress.
• Shared bathroom has urine on seat every single time we used it (not an issue with property as such, more just other tenants at the time)
• Bathroom area full of mould & rotting.
I would definitely advertise this property as more of a bedsit/hostel, not Holiday Home.
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional - The bed 🛌 was very much ok for us
- Geoffrey (1/5): Worse experience, should be closed. - Worse place ever.
I recommend that the place should closed. Nothing.
- Diketso (1/5): Bad -
- Teo (1/5): DE-LIST THIS HOUSE from Booking.com. listing - DO NOT STAY HERE !!! HORRIBLE !!! Dirty , dusty , Dark , items are in the kitchen are old , chip plates and cups , stain cups and rusty toasters, micro ware , oven . Bedroom are dusty . lights in room are sooo deem. Toilet FLOODS and cannot flush . BOOKING.COM should DELIST THIS PLACE.. The fridge has got so many STALE food inside ..we move out for 2 days and stayed other accommodation . AVOID THIS TERRIBLE PLACE.!!
- Kirsty (2/5): Very poor - Nothing at all very poor Ants all over the place in the bathroom and in room not very hygienic, very noisey also
- Karabo (1/5): Bad - Very dirty, shower tub flooding Flies all over , phone calls not answered
- Odegua (1/5): Worse Experience ever - The customer service is very bad. The place is very dirty and the description online is totally different from what they physically at the service. It says there’s a living room but there’s nothing of such. One can hardly get them on phone. I recommend that the place should be closed down as it doesn’t meet standards. Nothing good about the property.
- Abdirizak (6/5): Pleasant - I liked the kitchen facilities available for guests and also clean. Check out time seems to be quite weird, and the room was cold despite its summertime
- Zanele (2/5): Very poor - Blankets were not cleana ,very old and the uncomfortable
- Oliwer (3/5): Traumatic - Nothing Everything
- Matthew (3/5): Poor but cheap - The location near pubs and shops Unclean, uncomfortable beds, only had 1 toilet and one shower for the whole house.
- Dzianis (2/5): Didn't meet expectations based on existing description/policies - Location is appropriate and easy to find Bad neighbours ruined the stay (all night noise, smoking and stealing food from common fridge)
- Satbir (1/5): exteremely bad experience - If possible... I would like to have my money back. - The worse I have ever stayed. The rooms are terribly dirty. Bathrooms are filthy and toilets that dont flush well. Kitchen has left over rotten food from weeks old in the fridge.
The noise comes in from every movement in the house. People walk in and out every minute and you hear the floor squeecking and bouncing.... you dont get any sleep through the night if others are awake and if there is even a slight movement in the property.
Very bad experience. Rooms, bathroom, hallway, kitchen, doors that slams and shakes the whole house. drunkards who distrubs the piece of others. The area is probably not the right one either... but the property does need full renovation.
- Currell (1/5): £110 to spend the night on very dirty beds ! - Very dirty Dirty
- Liudmyla (5/5): Passable - I walk to the center in 15-20 minuets. I found a hairdryer on the second day. You can leave a list of where to look for an iron and hair dryer in the room. The microwave did not do. There are not room slippers for staying in the hotel. You must always walk in your shoes. You can provide coffee to the guests. There is not enough usb charging for the phone in the room.
- Gurdev (4/5): Not good and Not so bad. - Except Location, nothing was to like. The Facilities as mentioned while booking was not available at the room. No Toiletries was available except just Handwash. No perfect lighting in the room, Power sockets was just one. Numerous things…. What to mention…?
- Marie-nicole (6/5): Pleasant - The Sofa in the room was quiet nasty. Would be nice to get it covered with a sheet.
- Muse (1/5): My door did not lock - Was dirty
- Gallamora (7/5): Good -
- Alexander (7/5): The stay was good and ofcourse the accommodation is as basic as it can be. - The environment and location were just perfect for our visit...right in the city and a walking distance to the city centre.
Considering the type of accommodation, it was worth the price. Very limited space for ie. Refrigerated foods, some of the guests leaving the kitchen back door open/unlocked in the night.
Also, no entertainment for guests, considering it being used for holidays, maybe would be worth having at list a TV screen in rooms as visitors can not be travelling with their screens to watch TV, especially those with kids.
Apart from that, good accommodation a d simple.
- Amarjit (2/5): Close to central but not clean. - It’s in close vicinity of central Dublin and had a great range of transport nearby. The shower was very good too as well as that the hosts had very clear communication and they had lots of knowledge about Ireland. The bedding and the mattress had hairs and so did the carpets. The bed also had a few stains on it. I feel like hygiene and cleanliness can be look at a lot more.
- Gallamora (7/5): Good -
- Nyathi (5/5): Okay - Clear communication with the facilitators Room was too small for me my husband and the baby
- Suvdaa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kristian (1/5): Booking.com needs to take this off your listing's. - So disgusting we didn't even stay. Demolition
- Lindah (1/5): I can never go back to such a dirty cold place - This is the worst property I have ever been to🚮 Everything. The bathroom is miles away. The heater doesn’t work, no tea or coffee provided everything is bad about this place
- Diane (1/5): Close to Dublin Center, cheap and nasty - The location made it easy to get an Uber to go sightseeing. The room was not ready at 4pm as promised. The slats in the bed were on the floor so the bed was broken. We had to PAY for parking. The shared bath was DISGUSTINGLY dirty with a toilet seat that was ready to fall off.
- Steve (8/5): Very good -
- Kian (8/5): Very good -
- Andreea (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kalttumo (8/5): Very good -
- Heidi (10/5): Exceptional - The room was spacious, clean, bedding all clean, easy access to the house, excellent location with all of the things we wanted to do between 15-30 mins away, supermarkets all in walking distance. The property had many people staying at the time we did and we all stayed with no issues. Customer service was excellent, when I phoned with regards to the internet they helped me get it sorted quickly, if they have a missed call they will phone you back straight away. I required a late check out due to illness and they accommodated me for £20 which I was very grateful for. Overall we had a great stay. Nothing
- Mariam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pao (10/5): I really loved the hostel. - the bedroom was amazing! there wasn't something that I didn't like! everything great!
Thanks for being part of my lovely experience.
- Liam (9/5): Superb -
- Muse (7/5): Good -
- Vera (3/5): Awful and disgusting - The shared bathroom is tiny, only one toilet and one shower in the Same room for the hole House. It was only cleaned once a week and in the third day of our stay the toilet paper was empty and nowhere to find some to refill it. It was disgusting and the house was very noisy. No contact person on site. The other guests were very inconsiderate.
- Aap (7/5): Good -
- Roy (1/5): Bad -
- Philip (4/5): Very disappointing - There was no breakfast but the location is super nice The bedspreads, the heater not working, the staff not responding clearly and does not care
- Zakaria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anabel (9/5): A great stay! I will definitely come back! - Perfect location! A quiet street but within a few minutes of walking to the center. Super cute and comfortable room. A fully equipped kitchen and two shared bathrooms. Everything was clean and the staff answered any questions super quickly. I will definitely return. Great value for a relatively small price! The shower had very low water pressure and water temperature was very unpredictable, but this was the case in pretty much every location I have been to in the UK and Ireland, so I would not hold it against the property.
- Zoleka (3/5): Booked a place to spend a night during missed connection. - Sending me a text to let me know how to get in. I missed my connecting flight from Dublin due to the original one being delayed. So I had to book accommodation for the night in Dublin. I was looking for a rezsonable priced place not far from airport in order to save on taxi.
I paid 30 euros anyway to get there so it didn't help. The room and toilet are very neglected. Every furniture including bedding and curtains were dated.
Curtain was inside out, I have no idea why ? I arrived after 9pm feeling cold. Heating in the room didn't seem to work. No kettle in the room and no clear instructions if I am allowed to use one in the kitchen. I was glad I had to leave early to get 6am flight.
I have never seen a place which is so neglected like this one before.
- Moloi (6/5): Good - Good Bedding not looking good
- Natalia (8/5): Thank you! Everything was fine. - Everything was good. One shower.
