Guest Reviews
- Cleisimar Clemente (1/5): Péssima experiência! O quarto era minúsculo, totalmente desconfortável. - A pousada é horrível Péssima experiência!
A cama é confortável
A iluminação toda do apartamento é precária
- Walmir (1/5): Traumática - O ralo do banheiro entupido. Encontramos baratas no quarto e no banheiro. Contradiz todo o propósito do Booking. Sem condições essa pousada. Não recomendo
- Nurgul (10/5): Amazing - The staff is super friendly. Juliana, Vini and Anderson made our holiday unforgettable. And Anderson’s cake is just so delicious The rooms are a bit dark but not a big deal as the place has a garden and is right next to the water
- Anna (6/5): Pleasant - The pousada is beautiful and the staff is so helpful and was always available to help when we needed it. We came at the wrong time of year. Due to the rainy season it is difficult to get around on food - roads were flooded in some areas. There are other ways around but there is no lighting at night so it was a but difficult to get around. We thought there was more access to the beach but there is mainly the river. One thing we also did not pay attention to so this is our fault but without air conditioning it was difficult to sleep. Most of this is due to time of year and our not paying attention. I think in the drier seasons when there is more wind this pousada would be incredible
- Andreas (9/5): Superb - Wonderful place to relax and let everything go. Antonio, the owner, is a lovely, very caring host. I’d love to come back.
- Daniela (1/5): Far from boutique as stated in its description! - The location was ok, just a 10 minute walk to the kite beach. Unfortunately the ocean has eroded the original beach front of the bed and breakfast making
It challenging to reach the beach impossible at high tide. The breakfast was ok and the cook and boys looking after us were good. The room was dark, with no ventilation or aircon. The maintenance of the room was poor as we had torn fly nets, torn curtains and the bathroom was
disgusting. We had mould in the shower and a broken mouldy sink. Cockroaches, ants and mosquitoes were annoying. We had two restless nights, hot bothered and bitten all over.
We booked for 5 nights and added an additional two nights direct due to flights. Upon arrival we were let down by the poor standards. After talking with the owner we were left with no option but to find alternate accommodation. The owner refused to refund anything and kept all our cash we had paid him on arrival stating he spent it. After an hour he returned one night of the 5 paid via booking.com. He then offered to resell the room and if he did he would give additional refund but upon checking the app he did not advertise the room for sale and we did not hear further.
After a long morning walking the town we eventually found a great place called muita patz. This place was not cheap but well worth the investment so we could finally relax and enjoy the last week of our holiday.
I would not advise staying at Oceano Villa but feel free to book at your own risk! I should have taken note of the other negative reviews and trip advisor as these comments are not the first made and nothing has been done to improve the negative reviews in over 5 years.
- Petko (1/5): Miserable, abandoned, not safe. - NA The place feels deserted, being washed away be the ocean. We were the only guests. We did not feel safe and the place felt miserable. Only after a couple of hours we moved to another place.
The wifi was miserable, although we were the only guests.
- Dalva (9/5): Superb -
