Niesamowicie życzliwi ludzie i w tym miejscu i w każdym innym w Beracie. Przepyszne jedzenie i tam i dookoła, szczególnie obok w restauracji (chyba Kala). Przewygodne łóżko, piękna łazienka, ściany z kamienia. Coś wspaniałego. Nie ma takich rzeczy.

• Roland (8/5): Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können die Unterkunft empfehlen. - Wir wurden herzlich empfangen, obwohl es schon sehr spät war. Die Lage über der Stadt in einer Sehenswürdigkeit ist natürlich einmalig. Etwas schwer zu finden. Man sollte bei der Buchung schreiben, dass man sich an der Castle Hotel Rezeption melden sollte.

Again, the Breakfast is just something amazing. A beautiful clean garden that welcomes you with a smell of blooming mandarine tree. Very welcoming host. All was great.

The place was so beautiful. The ambience is so relaxing. You can sit and enjoy the open sky in the small garden like area. The path from the city and castle was not easy, specially some like me who don't have private cars. The location must be well described.

• Vita (9/5): - An amazing place in the very heart of Berat Castle! The rooms are cozy, clean, and authentic, and the views from the windows are simply breathtaking. Very friendly staff and excellent breakfast. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique experience! The only downside was that the property only replied to our message after we arrived. This caused issues entering the castle area, as the hotel needed to register our car's license plate in advance. We recommend sorting this out well ahead of time

• Christina (10/5): Gorgeous building - Oda Tomari Guesthouse is run by Hotel Castlr Berat around the corner, so figuring out where to check in was a little tricky. You can drive up the steep cobblestone road into the castle, past all the tourists. It feels a little odd, but there is free parking at the top! The room was lovely, very peaceful, and we loved the charm of the room and decor. We enjoyed the viewpoints from the castle area and wandered down into town. It’s a steep walk back, so keep that in mind. The breakfast was great here - we would gladly return!

• Craig (9/5): - Very lovely stay within the castle grounds. Room was very nicely decorated and had a huge comfortable bed. Staff were very helpful and friendly at check in/check out and during breakfast. Late check out at 11am allowed us to explore the castle grounds in the morning before we checked out. Was difficult to locate three accommodation as was not clear where it was within the castle grounds. Needed to ask for help on a few occasions. That was the only slight issue that could be improved on to make it easier for future guests.

Très bon emplacement au coeur du château. La dame de l'accueil était très gentille et parle très bien français. Pour se garer il y a un parking public à côté, donc toujours de la place, très pratique. L’entrée n’est pas évidente. Il faut passer par la réception de l’hôtel du Château (Berat Hôtel Castle) qui est juste à côté du parking. L’entrée ne se fait pas par "Oda Tomori". Le petit déjeuner moyen pour nos habitudes françaises 😅

Warm hearted, welcoming, and kind staff who make you feel part of the family. Gorgeous views of the city, and the Berat Castle complex itself is a gem. Delicious Albanian breakfast. Toilet had some quircks and the heating was a bit aggressive to my taste. But nothing major.

Beautiful town There was no reception/no one there to welcome us on arrival. The whole place was dark/lights off and it put us in a bit of unease. We had to call for somebody to come let us in. Same with check out. No where to deposit keys/see us off. No name checking off for breakfast either so felt like you could just eat breaky there and they wouldn’t know if you were a guest or not? Breakfast was good though! No guidance on how to pay either so struggled to make payment

Le logement est très propre, le lit est incroyablement confortable. La décoration est oufissime ! Je recommande pour un dépaysement total, et pour une nuit confort loin de tout ! Et à proximité des plus grandes villes… Le petit déjeuner était très bon, et le personnel incroyablement chaleureux !!!! Nous avons pu également dîner le soir de notre arrivée, pas besoin de marcher très loin! Le repas du soir était délicieux 😋 Un grand merci pour cette découverte ! PS : la dame de la réception parle français 😊 La connexion WIFI n’était malheureusement pas incroyable. Nous avons dû attendre avant de pouvoir trouver par nous même l’emplacement de la réception de l’hôtel, qui était dans un autre hôtel à côté. Dommage que nous n’avons pas été averti avant.

Our stay at this charming old house in the heart of Berat Castle was simply outstanding, largely thanks to the incredible hospitality of the owner. From the moment we arrived, we were met with a warmth and kindness that truly made us feel at home, almost as if we were being welcomed by a beloved "Mommy". The owner went above and beyond in every way imaginable. They weren't just helpful, but genuinely benign and incredibly kind, always ready with a smile and excellent recommendations for exploring the historic area. Whether it was tips on the best local restaurants, hidden gems within the castle walls, or practical advice about getting around Berat, their insights were invaluable and greatly enhanced our trip very easy to get Car parking inside the Castle next to the house! The house itself, steeped in history and character, was immaculate and perfectly appointed, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. However, it was truly the owner's exceptional kindness and benign nature that made this rental stand out. Their generosity and willingness to assist with any request, no matter how small, was truly remarkable. We can't recommend this unique stay highly enough, not just for its comfort and incredible location within Berat Castle, but for the opportunity to experience such genuine and heartfelt hospitality. If you're looking for a place where you'll be treated like family, look no further. We will absolutely be returning! Nothing

It's also possible to pay by card at the partner hotel next door. Hard to communicate with the staff due to language barriers, but they try their best and are lovely. The AC was leaking on the floor. The breakfast at the Berat Castle hotel was ok, nothing special. The room doesn't really have anywhere to put your stuff down either

• Stephanie (10/5): Just wonderful! - The manager Efti was amazing and did everything she could to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable including finding me a softer pillow when I asked if they had one. The beds were big and very comfortable and there is a proper shower stall so the bathroom doesn’t get wet. The breakfast buffet was copious and varied. The location in the kalaja added to the ambience and I didn’t mind the walk over to the castle hotel for breakfast as it made me feel like a local walking around on the cobblestone paths. I liked it so much I stayed a 3rd night. Even though the walls seemed solid, I could hear my neighbors talking and flushing the toilet and likewise I’m sure! It’s just something to be aware of and would not deter me from staying again. Also the ceiling lights are a bright fluorescent so some dimmer bedside lamps would enhance the mood of the room.
• Gergely (10/5): Great medieval stlye villa in Berat Castle - Higly recommended - Right in the middle of Berat castle, location is great. The city center is a short walk down the hill, however for elderly it is maybe better to take a car as the climb back might be exhausting. Room was very stylish, "medieval" style, beds were very-very compoftable. Room and facility was very clean. We liked the style of the whole place. Paking in the castel parking close to the rooms is possible for free. (Note: road up the hill is very narrow and steep so you'd better be prepared for that.) Howevery the description said only cash is accepted we were able to pay with card. Breakfast is served is the close-by Berat castle Hotel, the two properties belong together. We like everything about this place.

• Zoi (9/5): Superb - The rooms were beautiful and big, with lovely traditional decoration!! Amazing carved wooden ceilings!! Very clean and at a very nice location. Great beds!!! Breakfast - at the hotel next door - was very good. There was no one when we arrived. We had been told to call but no one answered. Fortunately someone from a near- by restaurant was very helpful and took care of check in. The A/C unit in our room was not functioning.
• Ian (9/5): Great stay, unique location! - Location inside castle was amazing! It was difficult to find but actually was quite near the main parking area. I think the description of directions should be clearer, make it relative to other obvious places in the Central area
• Golding (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel was situated within the castle walls. We were in the annex next to the hotel. We couldn't find any fault. The bed was very comfortable but a smidge too high for my short legs. Spotlessly clean with beautiful fluffy towels in the bathroom. Breakfast was taken in the hotel next door. The staff were very friendly and there was plenty of choice. There was nothing that we didn't like. Only one thing I would point out is the cobbled stones throughout the castle grounds. A good sturdy pair of shoes are advised.

• Itay (10/5): great place in the amazing Berat castle - The location is fantastic in the heart of a beautiful medieval village, surrounded by ancient walls. There is a free parking lot just by the place and within the walls (driving through the narrow ancient gates is a bit tricky and feels like it should be illegal, but that is just how things go in Albania). The beds were huge and very comfortable. Breakfast was simple but very good (served in another hotel, just a minute's walk from the property). Excellent shower. The room was a bit cramped, but that is just because the beds are so huge. everything else was fantastic.
• Claudiu (9/5): A short, beautiful stay in a traditional villa of Berat citadel. - Oda Tomori Villa is located within the walls of the old citadel in Berat city so the location is very special. It is a small villa with few rooms decorated in the Albanian traditional style, interesting objects that give you a sense of time and authenticity. There is also a small garden and an open terrace where you could enjoy a talk with friends. The little windows are decorated with traditional lace and they open over the stone paved narrow streets of the city. The breakfast was served at a nearby restaurant and it was tasteful and rich, with a lot of choice and nice staff. We stayed only for one night and I could say that the bed was a bit uncomfortable for me, too hard for my bones and the pillow also hard to sleep on.
