• Annika (9/5): alles war super - Alles an der Unterkunft hat uns gefallen. Die Lage ist super - lediglich wenige Minuten zu Fuß zum Zentrum. Die Tochter der Familie spricht perfekt englisch und hat die Organisation übernommen, die Eltern sind fürs Wohlergehen zuständig und haben uns mit einem tollen Frühstück und allem Nötigen versorgt. Wirklich sehr liebe Menschen. Auch die Ausstattung und die Hygiene der Unterkunft waren super. Rundum nichts zu bemängeln :)

Der Vermieter erwartete uns sogar ganz überraschend an der Stadtbushaltestelle, ging mit uns den kurzen Fussweg zum schönen Altstadthaus. Dort begrüßte uns das nette ältere Ehepaar mit einem Raki. Er fährt uns auch heute zur am Stadtrand liegenden Bushaltestelle nach Tirana. Sehr schönes, stilvolles, ruhiges Zimmer nahe am Zentrum. Neues Bad mit Duschkabine. Seul petit bémol il n’y a pas de bouchon pour profiter de la baignoire, on avait choisi le logement pour cela après deux longues randonnées dans le nord.

• Eric (10/5): Toller Garten, tolles Frühstück, tolle Lage! - Eine absolut bezaubernde kleine Pension! Schon beim Betreten merkt man, mit wie viel Liebe zum Detail hier gearbeitet wird. Alles ist unfassbar sauber – wirklich bis in die kleinste Ecke makellos. Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich herzlich, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und fast wie zu Hause. Morgens wurde uns ein wirklich leckeres Frühstück zubereitet. Besonders praktisch ist die zentrale Lage: Man kann alles Wichtige bequem zu Fuß erreichen und hat trotzdem eine ruhige Unterkunft zum Entspannen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können diese Pension nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Ein echter Geheimtipp für alle, die Wert auf Sauberkeit, Herzlichkeit und Gemütlichkeit legen!

• Vincent (10/5): - Je recommande tout simplement cette maison d'hôtes, la chambre était propre, l'emplacement est idéal proche de l'avenue de la republica et du centre de Berat, un bon petit déjeuner, on a un emplacement pour garer son véhicule mais surtout un couple adorable qui nous a accueilli avec beaucoup de gentillesse 😊 La salle de bain avec la douche à L'Albanaise 😅 car elles sont jamais fermées comme dans dans toutes les locations que nous avons pu faire en Albanie mais ça ne pose pas de problèmes

Breakfast was very tasty and very generous. Rooms very clean and a really wholesome atmosphere. They even gave us a lift to the bus station which was incredibly kind. We have nothing to fault. Le petit déjeuner est tout simplement parfait et remplace une repas 😂 et il est différent les deux matins que nous y avons passé. Villa Garden est seulement à 5/10 minutes à pied des activités touristiques. Jy retournerai sans hésitation.

• Olev Pihl (10/5): Great little homestay in Berat - The place is run by an older couple on the second floor of their house. The hosts were super lovely and helpful despite speaking minimal English. Private parking space in the yard. They had two turtles running around in their small garden which the kids loved (and not only the kids). Excellent home made breakfast. Room was cosy, comfortable, clean and big enough for a family of four. Air conditioning worked well in the 39C heat. Small fridge in the room also did it's job. Location is a short walk (~1km) from the old town, doable on foot. The streets are narrow and the entry to the yard is tight, so maybe not suitable for a big car. Bathroom had a bath without a shower curtain, so you had to be careful not to splash water everywhere when showering.

The breakfast they served was delicious, and there was a variation in what we were served on day two compared to day one, so that we got to try two types of traditional Albanian breakfasts. • famWolfs (10/5): Heel fijn verblijf en mooi centraal - Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren die je overal bij helpen. De locatie is redelijk centraal: het is ongeveer zeven minuten lopen naar het centrum. Je kunt je auto parkeren op de oprit bij de accommodatie. Om er te komen rijd je een smal weggetje in, maar dit is goed te doen met de auto. Vanaf de hoofdweg is het zo'n 50 meter omhoog rijden, daarna sla je linksaf en na ongeveer 20 meter zie je het hotel liggen. De eigenaar helpt desgewenst ook met het parkeren van de auto. Het ontbijt is lekker en goed verzorgd. De kamer is prettig en netjes, met airco Niks

• Katharina (10/5): Saubere Unterkunft mit freundlichen Gastgebern - Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und bot alles, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt. Besonders positiv waren die äußerst freundlichen und warmherzigen Gastgeber, die sich wirklich bemüht haben, uns einen schönen Aufenthalt zu bereiten. Das Frühstück war simpel, aber lecker, und die Aussicht war ebenfalls ganz nett. Die Lage ist nicht ganz zentral, aber schon relativ nah an der Innenstadt. Die Altstadt ist allerdings ein Stück entfernt. Wir hatten sehr kurzfristig gebucht und augenscheinlich haben die Gastgeber nicht mit uns gerechnet. Das war aber kein Problem und es war ein Zimmer bereit, das wir beziehen konnten. Trotz kleiner Unannehmlichkeiten beim Einparken war der Aufenthalt insgesamt angenehm, und wir würden die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen. Ein negativer Punkt war die Parksituation. Man muss durch sehr enge Straßen fahren und in eine Einfahrt einbiegen, wo man die Autos anderer Gäste blockiert. Wie damit vor Ort umgegangen wird, wissen wir nicht. Zudem ist es etwas herausfordernd, mit dem Auto über das Kopfsteinpflaster und die engen Straßen zu fahren und in die Einfahrt zu gelangen.

• H (10/5): - Die Gastgeber sind sehr lieb, die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und die Lage ist super - zu Fuß 5 Minuten ins Zentrum. Das Haus liegt in einer winzigen Seitenstraße, deshalb sollte man die Abmaße seines Autos gut im Gefühl haben. Im Garten wachsen Zwetschgen, Mandarinen, Zitronen, Orangen und mehr. Obst und selbst gebrannter Raki stehen zur Verkostung bereit. Wir waren Ende August dort und bekamen bei der Abfahrt noch viele Zwetschgen geschenkt. Und der Eigentümer hat für uns das Auto aus der engen Einfahrt wieder ausgeparkt. Das macht er mit 30-jähriger Erfahrung sehr professionell und gerne.
