• Géraldine (8/5): Bon séjour reposant au bord de l'eau - Très bon séjour à Oka au bord de l'eau. Ce gîte est vraiment bien situé avec de beaux extérieurs pour se reposer après une longue journée à vélo comme c'était le cas pour moi et mon conjoint. L'hôte est très gentille et serviable. Nous avons passé un bon séjour. Nous aimerions y retourner quand il fera plus chaud et profiter de la piscine aussi ! Merci -

• Marian (8/5): A lovely comfortable property close to the ferry, Oka Park and Montreal. - Perfect location. Very pretty property. Quiet and clean. The bed frame had sharp corners that we kept banging our toes on. One needs indoor shoes to avoid this as we were required to leave our shoes at the front door.

• frederic (9/5): Un havre de paix - La maison est fabuleuse, un petit coin de paradis au bord de l'eau. La propriétaire est adorable. Elle habite une partie de la maison. Nous étions les seuls locataires donc pas de partage de la salle de bain. Les chambres sont chaleureuses et confortables. Le pain maison est un véritable délice.

• Kazi (8/5): - Marie is a very cool person! The grounds are beautiful and no doubt about it. I loved the cat, Happi. She also changed the shower mat every time, which is nice. She arranged the toilet paper in a hotel style when people were out. I forgot what we had to share the bathroom, and I truly hated it. You can get lucky and stay at a time when the other room is not occupied. The other guests arrived late from dinner and woke us up. You wake up to use the bathroom at 5 am, and you can't cause they are also in the bathroom. It was truly so annoying. We had bad luck in that. I also didn't like the fact that the other guests got a better room than we did. Our room was smaller/less nicer than the other, but I think the rates are the same. Message for Marie: Maybe Marie can install a diffuser, cause the house smells a bit strange. Breakfast: nothing special and we didnt eat it.

• Ariana (10/5): - C'est un endroit magnifique et confortable avec un beau jardin, face au lac et entouré de nature. Il est également proche du village où il y a des magasins et des restaurants. Il s'agit d'une maison partagée, vous devez donc partager le salon et la salle de bain avec d'autres personnes et nous ne savons pas ça. Mais c'était quand même une bonne expérience.

• FM VB (10/5): Un accueil et un lieu exceptionnels ! - On frôle la perfection ! Accueil souple (horaire, accès à la piscine...) et admirable (disponibilité, gentillesse...), lieu enchanteur au bord du lac, piscine privée (rare au Québec), bon petit déjeuner, grande surface d'accueil (nous avions à notre disposition deux grandes chambres, un beau salon et une vraie salle de bain), literie très confortable. Et pas de maringouins / moustiques ! C'est tellement au milieu des arbres, que c'est un peu sombre en fin de journée. Mais est-ce vraiment un défaut ?

• Irene (8/5): We just needed a little peaceful break and we found it here. - Breakfast was special with caramel and home made bread. Location was wonderful with old trees and lakeview. Everything was wonderful and Marie treated my mom so sweetly and patiently, I appreciate that.

Her red cedar interior is truly canadian and her garden is a haven of tranquility. A gem of a b&b! I forgot my bathing suit! Nothing was lacking.

• Lois (6/5): It was OK. Next time probably go back to the Abby. - The breakfast was OK. Back yard area nice. Somewhere inside to eat breakfast. It was cold and damp. Thank goodness it wasn't raining. Host has a cat Allergic and didn't know.

• Vandever (10/5): Exceptional - I loved that this place was exceptionally clean. Marie was so sweet. She had the place all done up with beautiful lights outside. We didn't have a chance to use the pool, but it is beautiful. The lake is so peaceful. I would stay here again if I'm in the area. This place is sooo quiet. Tucked away in a quaint little oasis. I have zero complaints. Nothing but great things to comment. I will say and inform ppl that we did have to take a little ferry, which surprised us, but it travels back and forth every 15 min, from 6am to 10pm and it's only 13 dollars. It was completely fine 🙂 it was worth it. No dislikes at all.

The hostess is very friendly, welcoming and considerate. I would come back for a longer stay in the future. I was only transiting through the area and had a very brief stay. The only thing that I did not like was mosquitos close to the lake and the outside air quality due to wildfire smoke, but that had nothing to do with the property.

• Geraldo (10/5): Great little gem! - Great place to spend a couple of days! Amazing owner, quiet home and walking distance from Oka village and park. Nice swimming pool, owner makes her own delicious bread and is very helpful in helping explore the area. Nothing. The bathroom is shared but in a "this is a family home" way.

Normally we always book a bedroom with private bathroom but this time we had a shared bathroom but the host took care everything was clean. There were lot of mosquitos because of the river
