• Barbara (10/5): Wonderful Burradoo Studio - perfect for a couple's get-away! - The Burradoo Studio was a wonderful experience. The owners have paid attention to so many small details and it is very clean. There is access to a small deck and backyard as well. It was very quiet and private. Highly Recommend. We liked everything.

Hosts so accommodating, no detail had been missed, exceptionally clean, quiet, so many thoughtful touches, super comfy bed, plenty of towels, all the little necessities (plus a few extras!), walking distance from shops and walking trails. There is honestly not any more you could ask for from a beautiful place to stay for a weekend in the mountains! Highly recommend! Nothing at all.

Lynne and Tao put so much thought into making a getaway just perfect - the gorgeous linen, comfortable king size bed and pillows, fantastic range of books and board games, the big size TV, and all of the lovely finishing touches and fresh flowers throughout the room - the fresh baked friands and Easter eggs were a real treat too! This accommodation is set in the most perfect location, so close to the village and Katoomba, and is such a great size with an incredible little private backyard space to soak in the peaceful serenity outdoors. The fridge was just the right size, and the Nespresso machine was a wonderful addition for our coffees! Lyne and Tao were so lovely and incredibly welcoming. I will continue to recomend this studio to everyone and anyone travelling to the mountains!

Many thoughtful inclusions and treats were appreciated. .Loved the little garden and sitting outside in the pretty garden. The host was very kind and allowed us to stay well past check out time. Only felt the kitchen table was too small, but nothing else.

• Johanna (10/5): Relaxing Stay at the Burradoo Studio! - The Burradoo Studio was the perfect place for a weekend getaway! From the moment we arrived, it was clear just how much care and thought Lynne and Tao put into creating a truly comfortable and welcoming stay. They went above and beyond in every way, having thought of absolutely everything you could need. The studio itself is cosy, spotlessly clean, and beautifully inviting. We especially loved spending time in the private garden, listening to the black cockatoos and kookaburras in the mornings. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful details, from the personalised welcome sign and candles lit on arrival to the freshly baked friands, chocolates, almond and oat milk, and a wonderful selection of coffees and teas. The inclusion of robes and slippers was a lovely touch that made it feel like a real holiday. Every small gesture made the studio feel warm, considered, and special. It was a beautiful, relaxing space, and we couldn’t have asked for a more thoughtful hosting experience.

• Finlay (10/5): Marvellous place - Best self catering accommodation we had in 5 weeks in Australia - Beautifully designed and laid out accommodation in relatively small space …. bedroom, lounge, hallway, toilet, bathroom, kitchen / eating area, patio , garden …. with a direct view from one end to the other ! Every room was tastefully furnished and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Loads of info on local restaurants, walks etc Home made cakes/shortbread and a good handful of chocolates … and a decanter of port if you fancied a drop. Host Lynne was very helpful and friendly .. pointed us in the direction of a local lookout onto Blue Mountains that wasn’t listed in the tourist guides… had the view to ourselves… magical ! Only 10 mins walk from Leura shops and restaurants All in all , an 11/10 rating ! Nothing to not like !

The bigger town of Kato - This beautiful studio and its lovely garden (including a secret little spot in the back) felt so Zen. The welcoming touches, flowers, furnishings and accessories, beautiful bathroom products, comfortable bed with quality linens were so lovely - I could go on and on. The host Lynne checked to be sure we had everything we needed. We met her briefly and she was warm and so welcoming. This was a very memorable stay in a charming town with easy and quick access to the wondrous Blue Mountains. If it is available, book it! Loved everything about it. There is no cooking here, but the hosts are very clear about that.
• David (10/5): Fantastic base to explore the Blue Mountains - Absolutely delightful studio with private garden and porch. Great for watching nature with a cold beer in the evening. Super hosts who will do anything and everything to make your stay more comfortable. Very comfortable bed, great products in the bathroom, top air con, useful kitchenette. Walking distance to train, pub and restaurants of Leura, as well as trailheads into the mountains. There is nothing to not like at all, except if your stay is too short!

Lynne and Tao are wonderful friendly hosts with some great tips for exploring the area. Close for access to Leura Mall and a great spot to stay when exploring the wider region.
• Dmad (10/5): Simply divine and relaxing in every way. - The gorgeous decor, the little, but significant things, like the friands, hot chocolate, the chocolates left with port. The lights placement along with the TV switched on to fireplace and romantic music. Everything my hubby and I needed to feel relaxed. The host was super friendly and communicated full one. A very romantic and cosy stay and our hosts, Lynne and Tao, were just lovely. Couldn't have asked for more. It was an easy walk into Leura, where there are some great little cafes, and boutique shops. We couldn't have asked for more!

Close to the shops, hiking trails and a really nice and quiet self contained space to stay in should you wish. Absolutely nothing. But being selfish, i rather everyone not hear about this place! So it doesn't stay busy all year to the point of me not being able to return for another visit!

I entered the room and was met with candles and soft music. The room was immaculate and well appointed with everything you could possibly need. It was like an Easter egg hunt, in every nook, cranny and drawer there was another hidden “extra”. I went looking for the kettle and was amazed when I opened, what I thought was the back door, to a kitchenette that led onto a rear patio that overlooked a beautiful private garden. There was wine, bathrobes, marshmallows for a hot chocolate +much more … it was amazing!!! I was travelling solo, but this would have been the most perfect couples retreat. The accommodation is a lovely walk into the village of Leura and a short drive to Katoomba. The hosts Lynne and Tao were so friendly, advising me on attractions to visit or restaurants to dine, even offering to drive me to dinner! I’d highly recommend booking a room at Burradoo Studio, and can’t thank Lynne and Tao enough for their hospitality.
• Berry (10/5): A pleasant, comfortable, convenient studio where we and our small dog were made to feel most welcome - Our hosts Lynne and Tao went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. The studio was equipped with everything we would expect, plus surprise extras including home baked friands and a bottle of wine, even some treats for our doggie. Our dog loved the fully fenced and secure garden, small but with places to explore. The studio was spotlessly clean. The location is very convenient being just a 10 minute walk to the Leura shops. Being located far enough from the railway and highway, the property was very quiet at night. There wasn't anything to dislike about the accommodation. The house next door is currently undergoing a renovation, however, most of the work was being done inside so noise was not a problem.

• Paul (10/5): Paradise in Blue Mountains - The bungalow was with care designed. All the extras were just so kind!! The interest of Tao and Lynn was heartwarming. We enjoyed it SO MUCH. Nothing.
