Guest Reviews
- Debra (9/5): - It was a lovely little cottage that was perfect for our stay. It was really clean and had extra things like night lights that we really appreciated. It also had a really nice outdoor area. Our grandson came to visit and loved looking at the animals. Would really recommend staying there. It was a great location for exploring the area. Nothing
- Abbey (10/5): This place is better than the photos. It’s such a gem. I was so pleased to find this. Has everything you need including - It’s quaint and has everything you possibly need. Plus the farm animals N/a
- Malini (10/5): - Clean, well equipped and comfortable studio room. The place was peaceful, beautiful presented and perfect for switching off and relaxing. Enjoyed sitting around the fire pit watching the stars. My kids loved spending time with the sheep's and 2 cows whiskey and Oreo. Visited the Kondalilla waterfall, nearby Buddhist temple and light house at Kawana beach. Definitely will return again.

- Gabriel (10/5): - Quiet, private, and a spacious room with everything we needed. Nice tucked out of the way location but still close to where we needed to be!

- Kay (10/5): Best lodging to disconnect from the city noise and connect with nature and loved ones - This place is indeed an exceptional hideaway from the city. It is nestled in the forests and the farm animals, outdoor BBQ area, fireplace were the best highlights. Our kids loved feeding animals and sitting around the bonfire. The absence of net coverage is a great way to disconnect, read a book, pray, indulge your taste buds with your favourite tea and connect with nature and loved ones. We were also lucky to catch the Eumundi markets on Wednesday but had too much fun to stay in rest, read, play and take small strolls around the farm. To have to leave😃

- Bethyxl (9/5): - Beautiful little spot, close enough to Maleny and Montville Nothing major, but needed to plan around the internet, there was none available as per the listing,, but no other information available about the region/things to do.
- Roya (10/5): Lovely stay - We had an amazing night in this gorgeous cottage. My daughter absolutely loved feeding the sheep and cows. Everything was beautifully presented and clean. Peaceful environment. Very comfortable bed. There was no Internet reception or signal on our phones though.
- Bayona (10/5): A beautiful, peaceful stay and the perfect place to disconnect — we would definitely stay again. - We loved the location; it was exactly what we were looking for to disconnect from the city and enjoy a peaceful time together. The place was very quiet, extremely clean, and exactly as shown in the photos. The lady who welcomed me when I arrived first was very kind and lovely, and the property was easy to find. We also really appreciated the thoughtful detail of removing the Christmas decorations after I mentioned it was for my husband’s birthday. There was nothing we didn’t like; everything was excellent.
- Aydin (10/5): - The house was located in a quiet, beautiful leafy farm which was very peaceful. Our flight arrived late at night and Jayne was very accommodating making sure we got into the house easily. Amazing experience! Everything was great. Only exception was internet reception, but hardly a negative.
- Greymouth (10/5): Peace and quiet is priceless - Nature is key, Internet reception, but hey that’s the whole idea, a few days without internet won’t kill ya, but it was just for work, so there’s nothing that I hate about the property
- Robyn (9/5): Enjoyable stay , just what I needed. - Peaceful and quiet, comfortable and clean Nothing to report
- Yashvi (10/5): - Very private very cosy and cute No reception or wifi but that probably made it better
- Kerri-Ann (10/5): A perfect little getaway. - It’s a beautiful little hideaway. My daughter and I enjoyed an overnight stay. It was a rainy evening … perfect really for playing board games and watching movies. We loved it.
- Naomi (10/5): - Absolutely beautiful little place super quiet clean and comfortable, room was set up ready to go when we arrived all facilities were accessible and ready to go Definitely secluded from everything if youre looking for in town activities, but we didnt find the winding roads too intimidating.

- P (10/5): Peaceful location for a relaxing time away - Very peaceful location. The room was very comfortable, clean, and well equipped. Easy drive to palmwoods, cooloolah valley, Montville ,and beaches at Alex and Mudjimba. Good value for money. Enjoyed seeing the sheep in a nearby paddock. Everything was good.

- Rudy (9/5): We had a lovely stay at Bielby’s Hideaway, love to come back one day!👍 - Beautiful location, very quite, friendly owners, very well appointed! Poor internet.
- Ron (10/5): Peace and tranquillity at Bielbys Hideaway - Loved the self contained chalet, modern decor and facilities, very clean, lovely linens, super towels, and quality toiletries. TV reception was great. The courtyard garden was captivating and private, though only a stones throw from the main farm house. We were warm and cosy. Close proximity to Chenrezig Buddhist Institute and not too far away from Australia Zoo. Our host, Stephen, was very attentive and keen to ensure we had all we needed. We would happily stay at Bielbys again. Minimal internet or phone reception was unsettling at first, but we really enjoyed the peace and quiet with no social media to upset the tranquillity.
- Katherine (10/5): Clean and cosy - The place was immaculately clean, and so close to Montville, Malany, and several dams for our fishing kiddo. Steve was very helpful and still gave us our privacy.
- Dale (10/5): Exceptional - The peace and tranquility. Perfect quiet get away. Beautiful rural property with a nice garden layout. Great for getting back in touch with nature. Clean guest house with almost everything you need. Nice bathroom.

- Denise (10/5): Exceptional - Everything I loved it🙂 attention to detail was my first impression I and felt right at home as soon as I walked in. So so peaceful Leaving
- Sophie (7/5): Pleasant stay - Liked how private the accomodation felt. The kitchen &Gas bbq was perfect for what we needed to make meals. Fully quipped kitchen! Driveway caused a bit of anxiety due to age of car. Be mindful that it's a bit steep and the gravel can be a bit slippery in cold weather. But if you have a bit of a run up then you shouldn't have too many issues leaving the property.
*Smell in bathroom & in towels (maybe some smokers in a previous stay???)
- Michael (10/5): Quite peaceful relaxing spend time together - Great value for money if you want somewhere just to get away and have total quiet time
- Patricia (8/5): Very good -
- Ann (10/5): Lovely country side, very quiet and peaceful. - Bielby’s Hideaway is set deep in lovely countryside, very quiet and peaceful.

- Rosie (10/5): Secluded and well-equipped. - Bielby's Hideaway was lovely. The location is not convenient, but it's very picturesque and great if you're looking for somewhere quiet and relaxing. The hosts live close nearby but it's not intrusive. The hideaway was very well equipped in the kitchen, bathroom, and games department. The hosts were very kind and helped us when we were having trouble lighting the BBQ. One of us could access the internet while the other couldn't, which we were aware of before we arrived. A non-issue.
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joan (8/5): Very good -
- Maira (9/5): Superb -
- Bkmd (10/5): Exceptional - Everything, perfect location for isolation and peace N/A
- Regina (10/5): Absolutely beautiful quiet and peaceful gardens gorgeous. - Beautiful property lovely gardens we had the whole place to ourselves. Very peaceful and bird life amazing. We went up in Delica. People seem very friendly and nice. Coffee and sugar need replacing and more toilet paper and toilet was not flushing properly. Beautiful place I'd go back for a week.
- Glenn (8/5): Very good -
- Karen (10/5): Hinterland rest & relaxation wonderland - What a beautiful location with all creature comforts supplied & met including a very comfy bed & a gorgeous view with privacy for full relaxation & no worries. Would recommend to anyone seeking a hinterland wonderland of rest & relaxation. Lovely. Everything was lovely. Thank you.
- Vynka (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joyce (5/5): Passable -
- P (9/5): Peaceful get away for a few nights - Peaceful location, close enough for drives to the Sunshine coast or Montville and Maleny. The unit was clean and comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen. Very quiet and relaxing setting. Good value for money. Nothing. All good.
- Sandra (5/5): Lovely location and mostly good facilities. The host was rather cruel to us. - A lovely countryside location. Extremely well stock kitchen etc. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable -wire springs pressing into my bones. I am skinny, so maybe ok for others. Not enough blankets for us. Rather distraught next morning I asked whether we could get some padding or mattress to improve the sofa bed and asked for one more blanket. She came back a bit later to say they couldn't help and that we should leave. This was very distressful since Saturday night everything is booked out. After searching with no success, suddenly someone canceled at a nearby Red Bridge Motor Inn. What a relief, I would highly recommend the Red Bridge, so friendly and helpful. It restored my faith in humanity. I would not have written this if the Bielby host had shown even the slightest bit of empathy or validation of my experience.
- Charlene (10/5): Beautiful accomodation and great hosts - Relaxing and peaceful
- Chiles (8/5): Very good -
- Presley (9/5): Superb - The comfort of the property, myself and my son had a great time, fed the animals also.. couldn't have been more impressed. No Wifi
- De (10/5): surprised by the quality and fair price - The accomodation was exceptionally well fitted out, everything was thought of and more. Cosy & modern with little personal touches. Private and serene, woke up and listened to bird song and watched the sky lighten up with a nice coffee in hand.
- Taylor (9/5): Beautiful space in a great location - Lovely location, clean and cosy space for two. Would have been great to have an indoor stove top but we made good use of the bbq instead.
- Kel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Greg (9/5): Rural, convenient, relaxing and peaceful - It was a great little cabin in a rural area. It was an easy drive to the Sunshine Coast beaches and nearby towns. You could do as much as you wanted or just relax.
The cabin had everything you needed and the bathroom was a good size. It was a great rural setting and very peaceful. If you wanted to cook meals you had a microwave and barbecue. What we did like is the hosts leave you in peace, and respect your privacy. Would definitely visit again. It was all enjoyable
- Kevin (10/5): Great location peaceful and quiet. Very relaxing. - Loved the location and the amenities. Nothing.
- Kymnjane (9/5): Superb - Location was good. The accommodation was spacious and clean with a well equipped kitchen and BBQ. No phone reception or internet.
- Simon (9/5): Bielby’s Hideaway is in a beautiful, peaceful location. Great shower, comfortable bed & well-stocked kitchenette … i - Great location, comfy bed, well stocked kitchenette, lovely shower. Could do with a new tin opener.
- Melinda (9/5): Superb -
- Leanne (10/5): I shall return! - My daughter and I had a lovely time at Bielby's Hideaway to celebrate her 30th birthday. Such a beautiful secluded spot. The unit had everything we needed for a weekend stay. The queen bed was very comfortable, and the nights were so quiet and dark that I slept really well. We loved sitting in the outdoor area. The hedge gives just the right amount of privacy. An extra bonus was that my phone had no signal, so I had no reason to pick it up. 😃 I will definitely be going back! My daughter's phone had signal. 😜 Looks like Optus works, but not Telstra.
My daughter found the sofa bed uncomfortable, but she still managed to sleep in on the second morning.
- Joseph (9/5): Superb -
- Jennifer (9/5): Superb -
- Vanessa (10/5): Highly recommended. Owners are super friendly, cabin is clean and modern in a beautiful surrounding. - We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back. The owners are extremely friendly and supportive. I forgot my jackets in the cupboard, but Jayne was great. She contacted me immediately and made sure I got them back as soon as possible.

- Massey (9/5): Superb -
- Malcolm (9/5): Ticked all the boxes - Very well setup and very private surroundings Leaving 🤣
- Ivan (10/5): Comfortable, affordable and cute little cottage in Sunshine Coast Hinterland. - The cottage was small but very comfortable and super clean. It had everything we needed.
- Ron (9/5): Nice location for quite time - Nice secluded location, good value 4 money. Nothing
- Gem (9/5): Lovely place to spend time with the nature. Facilities are well thought out. - Very comfortable spacious for two people. Well designed one bedroom accommodation with full kitchen and access barbecue outside. Quit and well positioned hideout. Comfortable bed and amicable bathroom felt like 4 stars hotel ensuite. Like to go visit again. Very serene place with easy access to the main road. Night access requires a torch light. Better to have security light on the front door similar to the one in car park area if possible.
- Desley (7/5): Good - Location was nice. Quiet No return calls. Seemed disinterested and disengaged. Bed was awful. Spent night with no hot water. Jane didn't bother asking about this or acknowledging once addressed
- Elizabeth (10/5): Highly recommend. - Perfect little get away spot. Immaculately Clean, Private and peaceful.
- Rhonda (8/5): Very good - Was a great location. Very quiet and relaxing.
- Rob (9/5): Great place to stay - Great hideaway spot from the rat race, well appointed, comfortable with everything you need
Close enough to all the attractions and lovely towns in the area
- Franci (10/5): It was so quite which made our stay even more pleasant. I would most certainly go back - I loved that everything was clean. Even the outside barbeque area, which we loved, by the way. Everything was good. However, we couldn't find a milk jug....if I have to say something now :)
- Giuseppe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joan (9/5): Superb -

The farm is so quiet and beautiful, and we really enjoyed sitting out in the bbq area of an evening and sitting around the fire pit at night. It was really nice getting away technology and enjoying time as a family. The farm is close to Montville, Eumundi, and the sunny coast, making it a perfect spot to relax whilst still being able to go and exploring the local area.
- Maria (9/5): Superb -
- Mereki (9/5): It was a beautiful cottage cosy tastefully decorated..oh and no mobile reception but I didn't mind - There was breakfast??? A cook top (elements) inside rather the only option to cook was the barbecue outside or the microwaive
