Please note that Melchsee-Frutt is a car-free village. You can park your car at Cable Car Station Stöckalp and take the Cable Car to Melchsee-Frutt. Please note that there might accrue charges for parking.
The cable car runs from 08:20 until 17:20, and the ride takes approximately 30 minutes. There are also additional rides.
Children under 16 years receive the ticket for the cable car free of charge.

Very friendly staff, so helpful and supportive. Amazing cuisine - we did enjoy the food there (all three meals). Views are stunning. The village is quite small, doesn't have a lot of events. Comfy beds, clean shared bathrooms, clean towels. Places to sit and spend time near hotel.

Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam – während dem Essen wurde sogar direkt nachgefragt, ob wir noch einen Nachschlag möchten, was wir super fanden. Besonders toll: Als Vegetarier wurden unsere Wünsche ernst genommen und berücksichtigt. Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Betten bequem und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis wirklich top. Und zum Abschied durften wir sogar unsere Thermoskanne mit heißem Tee auffüllen – so kleine Gesten machen den Unterschied. Vielen Dank – absolut empfehlenswert!

- Dmitry (7/5): Good - The guesthouse is located in a picturesque area in a village on an Alpine plateau. It felt more remote than staying in town. I liked the efficient check-in and good bar/kitchen service. The views all around were unforgettable. The breakfast was great, I don't know if it's the local produce or just the setting, but even all the basics tasted amazing. The bathroom was quite dark, especially the shower. The room is not somewhere to hang out in.

The room was a bit noisy from other guests being very loud. Perhaps some signs up to say for guests to keep the noise down at night - on the stairs etc.
