• Lucie (10/5): - Die Gastgeber sind extrem freundlich, Frühstück sehr zu empfehlen: unglaublich lecker, reichlich und tolle selbstgemachte Marmelade ! Super Lage, alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Terrasse ist top. Sehr sauber. Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist kein Asphalt, sondern Steine die etwas Angst machen das erste Mal wo wir gefahren sind. Aber alles geklappt am Ende. Man parkt am Ende des Weges.

• Quentin (10/5): Unglaubliche Gastgeber in perfekter Lage - Ein Haus in perfekter Lage in Berat, kurzer weg zur Altstadt oder zu Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich nett! Wir "mussten" aufgrund einer kleinen Grippe 2 Tage länger bleiben, konnten spontan verlängern und wurden mit Suppe und frischen Früchten versorgt.
• Stefanie (10/5): - Charming hosts who went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, delicious home-made breakfast, beautiful garden. The AC worked perfectly and the apartment was spacious and very clean. Two minutes from the old town. 100% recommended.

• Christina (10/5): Blick, Auszeit, Verwöhnprogramm - Die liebenswerte Art von Sara und ihrem Mann. Das Frühstück war überragend und die Freundlichkeit so herzerwärmend. Kleiner Verbesserungstipp: Es funktionierte nur eine E-Platte, wenn die 3 Gasplatten auch eingesetzt werden können, prima.

• Defne (10/5): A perfect stay with beautiful views, a great location, and warm, welcoming hosts - The house was beautiful and very clean, with an amazing view and comfortable beds. The location is perfect — just a short walk from all the main sights in town. The hosts, Sara and Ibrahim, live downstairs and brought us a delicious breakfast every morning. We really appreciated their kindness and would like to thank them warmly from here as well.

• Rebecca (8/5): Beautiful Berat homestay - A beautiful property with very welcoming hosts, even considering the language barrier. It felt really homely and we enjoyed having the terrace to sit outside. The location was beautiful too. We would happily visit again. It was a shame the oven in the kitchen wasn't working and was quite difficult cooking with a camping stove. Otherwise no complaints.

• Ursu (10/5): One enjoyable night, highly recommend, but make sure you have the appropriate car for the road. - The fact that is was clean, peaceful and the hosts were very friendly. The road is a bit hard to access, but it has nothing to do with the property.
• Michela (10/5): Exceptional - We had a wonderful stay for 1 night. The room was spacious and clean. Sara Guesthouse is really close to the Castle and Berat old Town. The breakfast was great with home made bread, marmelades, eggs, delicious feta and a lot of fruits and tomatoes.
• Carlos (10/5): Exceptional - Incredible view, charming hosts. Also, the room included AC and the bathroom was well equipped. Easy Maybe it should lower the price of the laundry... 10 euros is quite high.
• Ludger (9/5): Superb - A very nice apartment with a big terrace and great views. Located between the old town and the new part of town on a bumpy little road up the hill. The hosts were very friendly and the breakfast delicious. We only stayed in Berat for 1 night and really enjoyed our time here.

Central location (up a cobbled street). You can walk 15 minutes up to the castle up the street/track. Spotlessly clean property. Two large bedrooms (one with kitchen facilities). Relaxing and homely stay. Excellent value for money.
• Peter (5/5): The guesthouse had some nice features, but location disappointing. - Nice elderly couple (but speak no English) There are many places in Berat with better locations in the Old Town. No sign, hard to find. Up steep, rough road, dark at night. First day, breakfast OK. Second day, I had to go for an 8 am bus, so understand too early to prepare breakfast, but they could have left some bread & marmalade for the morning (it was included).
• Frederick (10/5): comfortable and nice outdoor area - Large terrace, comfortable bed, large apartment, nice landscaping, kitchen had what I needed. The walk up the hill to the house was not a problem. That same walk I could continue and arrive at the Berat Castle; I enjoyed that walk and it was not used by many people. Cheerful, considerate host. Breakfast was a treat; fresh preserves, good bread, cheese, eggs (it varied) but always good. There were neighborhood dogs barking at night.
• Peter (8/5): Beautiful spot to stay - The hosts were super friendly and very accommodating. Appreciated the large and well equipped bathroom. Fabulous deck and under cover seating area to soak up the view. Handy to the Old Town and directly uphill you can reach the castle. Providing breakfast was a bonus. Everything was super clean! Barking dogs. On our second night the neighbour across the street allowed their dog to literally bark all night. I did not sleep well even with earplugs. At other times the number of dogs barking in the area during the night made it hard to sleep.
• Jake (9/5): Great value place with little room for improvement - Really amazing place, excellent value for the price. You get an entire apartment with a beautiful balcony looking out over their orchard and garden. Comfortable and clean, the hosts were excellent offering tea and breakfast (made from fruits and vegetables grown here!) It is the perfect location just 15 minutes from the fortress and 10 minutes from the old town. There was an issue with the toilet flushing continuously, and I was woken up first thing in the morning by the host to fix it. It is also up a steep hill with uneven stones, making it hard to drag my suitcase up when I first arrived.
• Rossy (10/5): Best stay! No pierdan este lugar - The hosts are amazing and so kind, best breakfast, pretty view and the apartment is as described (with a lot of space). I would stay here again for sure 😀 Everything was perfect!
