• Sandra (7/5): Naturnah und trotzdem gut angebunden! - Sehr freundliches Personal. Restaurant im Haus gleich dabei. Super Anbindung an die U Bahn und Busverbindung vor der Haustür. Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer. Matratze etwas unbequem.
• Claudia (4/5): Nicht zu empfehlen - Die Lage zu den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln, die Mitarbeitenden Alles wirkt sehr alt, Müll im Treppenhaus, nächtliches Geplauder auf der Restaurantterrasse vor den Zimmern im 1.OG ist laut, sehr kleines Bad, Fugen vor Dusche wirken sehr dreckig. Plastikpflanze ist eingestaubt. Kein Frühstück im Haus möglich, sehr teuer
• Bryson (10/5): Friendly and relaxing. - Pension Der Kretaner is a lovely place for a getaway. It’s in a residential neighborhood with plenty of excellent restaurants, including the Greek restaurant it sits above. I enjoyed its walkable streets and parks of which there are many. Above all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

• BoHalle1 (10/5): Godt sted til prisen, meget flinkt personale, og fin beliggenhed - Super beliggenhed lige overfor U3 metroen. Det er super nemt. Der er bager, og indkøb og spise muligheder. God pris, og at det private toilet og bad ligger overfor på gangen gør ikke noget. Det er nemt og lige til. Jeg kunne sagtens bo der igen. Det tager en halv time med metroen ind til centrum. Det er et mareridt at have sin egen bil med, da der absolut ingen parkeringspladser er i nærheden. Det virker som om, at alle i området har 10 biler i hver husstand. Der er meget lydt, og når folk kommer hjem eller gør ud, er der meget larm på gangen med dørene og snak. Om natten var der helt stille.

• Bogdan_Streza (9/5): Klein aber fein - Situated across the street from Onkel Toms Hütte U- Bahn station in a very green neighbourhood. The room was quite small but recently renovated and spotless clean, the bed very comfortable. There is complimentary coffe and tee. No breakfast option but you have an area with tables and chairs where you can have your own - across the street are a bakery, a supermarket and some other shops where you can pick up something to eat. There is even a nice terrace where you can enjoy your breakfast when the weather is good. The staff is very helpful, check-in and out is very efficient. The restaurant is also very good - the only problem for me was that some of the dishes ( chicken souvlaki for example) are coming in very big portions and I cannot eat it all :-) N/A

• Eberhard (6/5): Okay - Direkt bei der U-Bahn Die Zimmer und haustürschlüssel waren kaum zu unterscheiden. Es dauerte extrem lange bis warmes Wasser kam.
• Lowe (9/5): Very friendly staff, very clean facilities. Greek restaurant downstairs. It’s an historical building, built in 1923, it - It’s right across from the U3 station where you can take the Ubahn or the bus. There is also a bakery by the bus stop. If you go down the ramp to the train station, there are shops on either side including Aldi. Because it’s an older building, all doors are key access, and the hallway is wood (so no sound dampening like carpet) so you can hear whenever someone is in the hall locking or unlocking their bathroom door or room door.

Gegenüber ist ein Kaffee und Nahversorger sowie U-Bahn Es gibt quasi keinen Schallschutz im Gebäude. die Türen sind nur da, damit eine daTür ist. Es ist ein altes Gebäude wie in dieser Gegend viele sind von daher ist das Altbau Flair.

• Rebecca (8/5): - The friendly helpful respectful staff, the fantastic Greek food and unforgettably good Greek wine and the atmosphere in the restaurant,, which seems to be the main raison d'etre of the Pension. I would return, for the food and wine alone! The cleaning staff were helpful and responded immediately to my request for a fresh clean blanket because the extra one in the closet was soiled. Also, the subway and bus stop were just opposite the Pension, I only had to cross the street. A quiet tree lined side street at that. Who could ask for more? The toilet seat was off its hinges, so not comfortable! The building must have old plumbing pipes, so there was a permanent bad odor in the hallway, though not in the room itself.

• Beate (10/5): Ich war zufrieden und würde die Unterkunft wieder buchen. - Netter und freundlicher Empfang und abends im dazugehörigen Restaurant sehr gut gespeist. Bett hat eine gute Matratze. Tee, Kaffee und Wasserkocher stehen zur Verfügung. Dass die die Zimmertür quietschte.

Sitzmoeglichkeiten auf dem Balkon/ der Terrasse zwar vorhanden aber diese wirkten ungepflegt
• Stefan (8/5): Sauber und Preis/Leistung top! - Lage war super, direkt gegenüber der UBahn Station „Onkel Tom‘s Hütte“. Ich wurde ausgesprochen nett begrüßt, das Zimmer war sehr schlicht gehalten, aber sauber. Das Bad war gegenüber, ebenfalls sehr schlicht und einfach gehalten, aber auch sehr sauber. Die Zimmer sind äußerst hellhörig, was der einzige Minuspunkt ist. Ansonsten ist Preis/Leistung für Berlin unschlagbar, da man trotz der dezentralen Lage innerhalb von 30 Minuten mit der Bahn im Zentrum ist.

• Saurabh (8/5): as expected from other reviews - The location close to the university and right across the road from the train station was perfect for me. The area is nice and quite. They didn't have good highspeed WiFi. I had to rely on my personal mobile data. :(
• Jiri (8/5): Very good - Location very calm and nice (suburb of Berlin). Otherwise clean and nice building. We arrived later in the evening (in the dark) and there was no one around, neither in restaurant (which was closed). We had no PIN, no key, which has made us slightly anxious. We had to call the manager (phone number on paper attached to the door), which took some time, but then he came and everything was then smooth and without any other issues. It's a pity that breakfast was not available during our stay.

Poor WiFi (requires logging and sharing some personal data); noisy floor and some doors; the noise from the corridor and other rooms arrives to my room.

• Dmytro (9/5): A calm place by the forest in front of the metro station - The forest starts just in two passes from the Pension. Metro station was just across the street. It was really clean and the entrance was well-organised The exterior bathroom can be quite a pain.
• Blessen (8/5): Good location - Close to the public transportation. Nice neighborhood, close to our friends house. Private baths. Help from staff getting baggage upstairs, free gift from owner. Felt safe in the neighborhood. There was no elevator, and at our age carrying baggage up two flights of stairs was hard. Be sure you checkin before closing time, thankfully we had a German friend who was able to contact the staff to help us get our key. We got there about 10:28, and the booking page said open to 10:30, so it was very close. We could hear the trains as they left the station and conversation of others, but it didn’t keep us from sleeping. It was during the holidays so we didn’t get a chance to eat at the restaurant. They were closed on days we wanted to eat there.
• Blessen (9/5): Great Location to metro. - Location was great to the metro and to our friends house. Room was nice, updated, warm and bathroom was good. It had refrigerator and TV. Table and chairs. Our room was across the hall from the private bath. The restaurant was closed on days we wanted to eat. The manager was very helpful for us. No elevator, three landings up, did have help from management twice. We are in 70’s - And Americans not used to stairs, just to let other elders know. Also, could hear party downstairs two nights, New Years, and people in room next to us talking. Not bad, just letting people know. Beware too, if you go somewhere before checking in, to get back by 10pm so they aren’t closed when you try to get checked in late.
• Blessen (6/5): Nice location - The location was excellent for our needs, close to our friends and the metro. Rooms were clean and warm, and bathrooms were nice. It was good European style, not American which is expected because we were in Germany. The staff were very helpful. There is a restaurant downstairs open for dinner. We had a room with a bathroom included and another bedroom. #3. I would recommend for anyone staying in the Zelendorf area. There is no breakfast included, but we knew this, and had breakfast with our friends. We planned to each lunch on Dec. 31, but it was closed because We guessed of New Year’s party that night, making it close until the celebration. There is no elevator, and it was a bit difficult going up carrying luggage but the host helped us.

• Tilman (7/5): Good - The owners are very nice, the location is great and the beds comfortable. The Internet wasn't stable and not fully available in room 6. Walking over the floor makes squeaking sounds and the rooms are not sound proof, so you hear others when they walk around or come home
• Kimi (8/5): Simple but practical - The location was very practical as it is right across the road from a subway stop, near a beautiful park for runs/walks, and within walking distance of coffee shops. We were not expecting the staff and in house restaurant to be on leave for our entire stay. That being said, we had no problems and didn't require any assistance at any point. They were also very helpful at check in. The balcony is a great place to sit, however were locked outside when someone came out and closed the door behind them. Luckily we managed to get the attention of a guest inside who let us back in.
• Evangelia (7/5): Good - Very clean room. Comfy bed. Good location for our purposes. Uncomplicated communication with the hotel, even though the (restauranta)business was closed for vacations. Wifi unfortunately did not work in our room. The walls were thin and could hear all the noises from the other visitors around.
• Pedro (7/5): A cheap option, I guess! Don't set much expectations, as it does meet basic requirements - The bathroom was cleaned every day. Everything was as advertised in terms of the room. There was a fridge in the room! Having to carry a whole set of keys around the city was annoying, it would be better if they switched it to a card system. There were no employees at all there (they did say they had a company vacation but which company does that without leaving a single employee, besides the cleaning staff, to welcome the guests or to help them should something happen). There was no breakfast offered and the bakery across (suggested by the pension) has weird opening schedules that conflict with the google opening time. I know that this is not their fault but since they suggest it without providing any meal offering, it impacted on my stay.

• Guido (5/5): Overpriced hotel with limited comfort and facilities. - The hotel is in very short distance from the subway (U-Bahn) - literally, the entrance to the subway is just opposite the hotel. A bakery is nearby where you can have breakfast in or in front of the bakery. Due to old wooden doors and locks, it is quite noisy, also at night. The rooms only have some automatic blinds but no thin curtains. Hence, during the day you have nothing to prevent the visibility from outside.

• Zoltán (9/5): We were satisfied and we have good memories about this week. - The location was excellent in our situation, near to the house of our familiars in Berlin. Other advantage is the metro station, good public traffic facilities. There is no possibility of breakfast. The restaurant is excellent In our habitation, there was no possibility to connect to internet and in general, the connection is weak and fails frequently.
• Martin (10/5): It is excelent! Both the rooms and the food is top grade! - It was absolutly excelent! The staff were realy friendly and helpfull. On the first they there were a problem with the fridge and they immedetly tried to fix it! The metro is realy close so it is a realy good for visiting the downtown! The wifi signal were a bit weak in the room, but I was at the furthest room, and it was still useable. In my room the metro was a bit loud with the window open, so if you are bothered by this ask for a room further from it.

• Douglas (6/5): Pleasant - It is across the street from the train line and shops that flank the train line. Too little hot water. The room temperature was too low.
• Zhao (7/5): Good - It's close to the place I need to do some business, it's quite clean The wifi is slow, especially the night. You can browse the website, but note facetime or watch videos smoothly. Another point quite annoying is that on the second day, the cleaner showed up and ask me "Why the shower room has water on the floor?" with a very bad attitude. She is quite unhappy about that. The problem is I'm quite tall and the curtain can't cover all the water from the shower. I tried to clean it but I don't have any tools! I don't want to be sound like a jerk but is that the cleaner's job to clean the room? Especially since I already cleaned it a little bit, it's not dirty, just has some water on the floor. I was quite polite at that time, but that does not mean I accept that 100%.
