• Günter (9/5): Ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, den ich liebend gerne wiederholen möchte. - Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Inhaber. Eine ruhig und dennoch zentral gelegene Unterkunft. Die Räumlichkeiten sind gut eingerichtet und vor allem sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr ansprechend und umfangreich. Ich habe keinerlei Vorschläge, etwas zu verbessern.

• Francisco Javier (10/5): Maravillosa Genial - Magnífico y la ubicación en el corazón de la Selva Negra . Volveríamos sin dudarlo y los dueños tienen una atención especial con los huéspedes el desayuno tipo buffet mejor que en cualquier hotel . Si viajan a la Selva Negra Alemana no dudarlo este sitio es espectacular. Las almohadas son incómodas. Puede que allí en Alemania sean así aquí no estamos acostumbrados a esas almohadas pero no es motivo para no ir a ese alojamiento porque es maravilloso
• charlotte (7/5): - Le chalet-ferme typique de la région. Les activités juste à côte, luge d'été, musée, restaurant, nous pouvions y aller à pieds. Il est préférable de parler allemand et surtout intégrer les us et coutumes de l'établissement en un temps record sous peine d'entamer la patience de la propriétaire. À plusieurs reprises, nous avons dû encaisser ses énervements pour des broutilles, lors desquels elle ne parlait qu'allemand, langue que nous ne comprenons pas. À savoir, la ferme est un spot pour camping-car, il pouvait y en avoir une petite dizaine pour passer la nuit.

• Julia (9/5): Traditional farm stay with excellent value for money and kind hosts - It’s a small family business and the hosts are very friendly and kind, the breakfast has homemade cold cuts and organic eggs of their own chicken right outside the house. The rooms are very clean and newly renovated and the house kept the vibe of the traditional Black Forest culture. The place is perfect for couples and families and there are many activities close to the house, some are even free or half price for guests. There were definitely no bed bucks anywhere and it’s the best value for money you can find in the area. Everything was great
• Anthony (1/5): bufs In The Bed and Hysteria! - NOTHING! Ok… How do we start with this. On first appearances everything was okay. It had very unusual dolls and history but that was to be expected. What wasn’t expected was what followed. We returned on the second day and noticed for the first time in the bed area bugs of all varieties - super small but bugs none the less. Some squashed under our pillow from the previous night so not bugs we had brought from the forest. We messaged them at approx 9pm on Sunday expecting to have to live with the situation but was hoping for some care and consideration from the host. We received a simple OK the next morning! We went downstairs to discuss and showed the video and picture evidence and the male host became hostile almost shouting “these were brought from the forest”. We had packed up carefully and showered deciding we would probably leave but wanted to come to an agreement. We called Booking for advice and the only advice was to come to agreement with host. We offered 2 nights payment (I personally wanted to offer nothing as nobody should have to pay to stay in a home with bed bugs.) The lady got very angry and shouted that we had to pay 3 days and our contract was not with booking but with her. She offered another room but we simply wanted to leave. We felt they might get more angry if we just left so stupidly paid them cash with a receipt (as they did not accept card), and video recorded that we were not agreeing with this and that we will make a claim with booking. Since then we were not sure we were right until we spoke to Tourist Information who confirmed these were clearly bed bugs, not normal and said they would report the accommodation as nobody should have to hate their trip to Black Forest… but we did. This totally ruined our holiday causing fear at every moment of bugs, a horrible night while they crawled over us and then a nice loss of many clothings we were not happy keeping or taking back to the UK, not to mention half a day lost.
• Jeffrey (8/5): Good value with great hosts - The room was basic, but clean and comfortable. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Home cooked evening meals available during the week Good breakfast. The room is very basic with minimal kitchen utensils. However the basic features are commensurate with the price.

• Mrs. (10/5): Exceptional - Very authentic and styled place. Big clean rooms with all needed facilities. Placed in walk distance form main Gutach attractions. Very friendly and helpful owners. There is parking on the place. No elevator.
