Linda (8/5): Close to amenities and station, set in a quiet residential area - Ideally situated close to Abbey Wood station in a lovely quiet residential area. The host was very warm and welcoming, bed was comfortable and I felt very safe as lone female traveller. The bath plug did not fit, so therefore you could not have a bath.

There was breakfast and unlimited tea, coffee and water throughout the day.. one could also use their pots and pans cook your own stuff while using their cutlery and plates.. The toilet flush wasn't adequate... It would barely flush in one go..

Pretty quick to get into central London. Close to supermarket. Free waterbottles and breakfast a big plus! The shared bathroom was occupied a couple of tlmes but that what you might expect so not a big issue.

Anna (7/5): Great place if you are looking for a place to just sleep. All the London sight are easy to reach with the subway system - It was nice and quiet. And the host was friendly and the place was clean. Close to the subway - just a 5 minute walk. It had a shared bathroom so in the morning you had to wait in line. I knew this beforehand so it wasn’t a problem.
Jane (9/5): Really good value for money, friendly host, very convenient for travel into London. - It was a two apartment style house with a shared kitchen. Wasn't expecting to have cooking facilities so that was an added bonus. Everything needed was there, including complimentary tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter, jam, cereal. There were also bottles of water which were really useful as it was a hot weekend. Jing the host lived down the road, so was handy for any questions and was very friendly. It was less than 5 minutes walk from Abbey Wood railway station, with lines to Greenwich and the City or Canary Wharf, so handy for anything you want to do whilst visiting the capital. Satnav even took us on the Greenwich car ferry (for free) which I didn't even know existed, so an unexpected bonus. There is off road parking too. The area looks a bit rough, but overcome this. In two days we never felt unsafe inside or outside the property. The bedsheets were clean, but we could have done with an extra blanket and a sheet for under the duvet. (personal preference) but I'm sure Jing would have provided these if we'd asked so not a criticism.

David (9/5): Would stay here again. - My son and I stayed at 71 and we found the owners delightful,thoughtful people and very welcoming which counts for a lot. 5-10 minutes walk to tube, shops. Greenwich 15 mins. away. Area quiet and the guest house provided everything we required. Though the shower could be better. However, my other son stayed at 116 and experienced antisocial behavior from an awful neighbour. This is noted in comments from other guests. I fully sympathise with Jing and her predicament it seems beyond her control.

Paul (7/5): Short weekend break - Good location for train and tube station.. handily placed for supermarket too… nice and clean house,was very comfortable and enjoyable particularly the complimentary bread,milk,coffee and fruit in the kitchen The next door neighbour.. to anyone booking to stay here it is a lovely house (116)to stay in but please beware of the neighbour next door in 112 as she is quite anti social with an equally anti social dog.. she likes to bang on walls and make sarcastic comments about smoking outside getting into her house as I found out the morning I was leaving..I will only consider staying again if she is evicted

YINGMING (10/5): - 房东是很好的一对华人夫妻，他们给我们提供了牛奶，面包，香蕉，瓶装水，使我们没有后顾之忧，我们在他们家住了7个晚上，每天都很开心，他们的食物会及时补上不断货。民宿靠近地铁站，又有大型超市相伴，房间干净，整洁，明亮，街区走边很安全，是游玩英国的好住所!

The host was super nice and were very surprised how good the property was equipped. For travellers with very limited luggage the place had everything what you need (towels, shower gel,shampoo etc.). The host left for us breakfast which was very nice and we didn’t expect that. Nothing.

Helena (10/5): - Výborná dostupnost do centra Londýna na lince Elizabeth line (25 min.), při příjezdu jsme měli připravené velké množství balené vody, banány, toustový chléb, marmeládu, vločky, mléko, kávu, čaj. Vybavená kuchchyň a malá zahrádka. Dům je ideální k pronájmu pro 4 osoby, kdy máte celý dům jen pro sebe včetně dvou koupelen. Velmi příjemná a nápomocná paní majitelka, která nám dokonce zapůjčila slevovou nákupní kartu do supermarketu, který je hned u metra. Velká spokojenost.

Mahsa (7/5): overall had a pleasant stay - On the positive side, the hosts were very generous and thoughtful, providing a wide variety of food items and hygienic essentials free of charge, which we really appreciated. The bed was softer than our personal preference, but still acceptable for a short stay. The property is quite old, which is something to keep in mind, and a few pieces of kitchenware could have been cleaner. We were also a bit surprised to find that the actual address was a few blocks away from what was listed on the website, and the room was smaller than we had expected.

The room is simple but has everything you need, the shared bathroom is clean and equipped with shower gel, shampoo and cleansers. A good breakfast is included. I suggest the guesthouse. It is well connected with the city centre using the public transport.

Ksenia (10/5): Прекрасный вариант проживания в Лондоне - Очень приятные хозяева, всегда на связи и готовы помочь. Я снимала комнату с собственной ванной комнатой. Моя комната располагалась на втором этаже. На первом этаже пару ночей жили другие туристы, потом они уехали, и фактически весь дом был в моем распоряжении. Хозяева каждый день оставляли на кухне бутилированную воду и бананы. В холодильнике было молоко, джем, тостовый хлеб, кукурузные хлопья, растворимый кофе - всё необходимое для завтрака. По вечерам включалось отопление, в комнатах было тепло и приятно. В 5-7 минутах ходьбы находится крупный супермаркет сети Sainsbury, а также станция электричек Abbey Wood. В пути до центральных станций Лондона - около 30 минут, возможна оплата проезда бесконтактной картой. Район проживания тихий и спокойный - соседи не устраивают вечеринки, по улицам не было замечено сомнительных компаний. Смело рекомендую!

She prepared many small items for the guests — from toiletries (shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrush, hair dryer, etc.) to basic food supplies (toast, butter, milk, muesli, bananas, etc.). I also noticed other considerate touches like umbrellas and house slippers. I’m used to guesthouses in Germany where you have to bring everything yourself, so I was pleasantly surprised by how well-prepared and welcoming Simple Guesthouse is. It gives a very cozy feeling, and I’m truly satisfied with my stay here. if you look for a modern designed room - it is not your place. The house is quite old and the room is small. The furniture is just basic. The location is a bit outside London but with Elisabeth line it is very convenient to explore the city.
Tina (1/5): AVOID THIS PROPERTY AT ALL COST. AND BOOKING.COM IF YOU CAN HELP IT - It os nowhere near Greenwich, it is just a part of huge borough of Greenwich. Be prepared to be locked in the property by 7pm and not allowed to leave. Our luggage was checked and our room left unlocked. Beware Booking.com was of no help at all, so make sure you have extra funds when booking with them, as you will get no support. We left on their advice, contacted the police, spent hours on multiple days, on the phone with them to no avail… Absolutely frightening experience! The host showed us the fridge with food that can be used, but strictly forbid the use of the kitchen. Area is not, as described Greenwich, but Woolwich, even the airport taxi driver was weary of leaving us at the address, and waited for us to enter the property. We locked the room and went sightseeing, when we came back, our room was unlocked and our things misplaced, as someone went through our stuff. When using the shower, there was swearing and loud banging. As the rooms are non smoking, l went to have a cigarette outside the property, only to find the front door locked, and the lock taped over at 7pm! We were advised by booking.com to contact the police and leave the property. The owner insisted that the taxi driver rings the doorbell and that we agree not to ask for any money back before unlocking the doors and letting us out. Absolute horror for my 17. year old son and me. Horrific experience that would left us on streets of London for 5 nights if by luck a friend, didn’t take us in, but if they were away by chance we would be left on the streets. Please avoid at all cost, especially if traveling with children.

Felix (9/5): Lovely stay but no private bathroom! - Really great stay. Host was friends and accommodating. Comfy bed, very clean and perfect location for us traveling to the excel. The property was advertised as having a private bathroom. This is incorrect as the bathroom is shared.

Arrivati tardi per cause del volo, la host non ci ha dato la possibilità di fare il ceck-in oltre le 23 .Abbiamo proposto di andare a prendere le chiavi noi nell'indirizzo dove abita la signora, che tra l'altro non è distante..pochissimo minuti.,ci ha detto di No! Abbiamo insistito ma niente! La scusa è stata che era stanca e avremmo svegliato gli altri ospiti...cazzate.. se esci di notte stesso discorso... Perciò abbiano dovuto cercare un hotel dall'aeroporto e pagare una notte ..in più. Vicina pazza non è colpa della host ma cmq una rottura ..

Simon (6/5): - The host is very nice and is fast to answer any questions. The shared kitchen is practical and the room was tidy and comfortable. Bathroom is absolutely sufficient. The neighbour is making noises on the bathroom wall and started shouting random stuff at one point. While she is not an actual security threat, this did have a negative impact on our overall feeling during our stay in this accommodation. If you feel like you can ignore this, there is no reason to not choose this accommodation.

Toilette incl.Bad teilen sich 2 Zimmer. Küche im Untergeschoss für alle nutbar. Kühlschrank vorhanden und alle Gegenstände und Maschinen zur Mitbenutzung. Cosi (9/5): Quiet, clean room, close to public transport, perfect for solo travelers on a budget. - Clean room, quiet neighborhood, close to public transport. Also there's a Sainsbury's nearby and also, a bunch of small shops. You had a kettle, water, coffee and tea in the room. Although it's far from the city center, the Elizabethan Line gets you there fairly quick. The host is also very nice and attentive to your needs. It's great value for money, and, i definitely see it as a very good option for your London stay, especially for a solo traveler on a budget. Shared bathroom can be an issue sometimes, where the other rooms in the house are occupied. Other than that, there was nothing really to dislike.

The kitchen is furnished with everything, plus a free bottle of water, bananas, bread, jam, and butter! Plenty of towels, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner! The area is quiet and nice, with Sainsbury's and the station just a 5-minute walk away. 🚶‍♀️ You can reach Soho in 25 minutes on the Elizabeth line! 🚇 The host is super nice and friendly! Mark Hesketh Jones (10/5): Quiet, comfortable and convenient - The property is in a quiet residential street, 6 or 7 minutes from Abbey Wood station. The house is clean, peaceful and breakfast food is provided, as well as tea & coffee in the room. There was plenty of storage space for clothes in the single room, where I stayed four nights The 'village' has a pub, cafes, takeaways and a good Indian restaurant (Taj Mahal), all within two minutes of the station. Really, it is difficult to find fault with the accommodation. I would happily stay there again.

Heike (10/5): Die Unterkunft war sehr herzlich eingerichtet , wir fühlten uns willkommen. - Wie wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt. Unterkunft war wunderschön . Es waren Obst , Getränke , Müsli etc. Bereit gestellt . Supermarkt Apotheke -Restaurant war gleich um die Ecke . U-Bahn war nicht weit weg. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Florent (7/5): Au cœur d'un quartier populaire - C'est un partage de maison chez l'habitant. Tout est très propre et les propriétaires font tout ce qu'ils peuvent pour que le séjour soit agréable. Le petit déjeuner est compris dans le prix avec du pain, beurre, confiture, bananes café ou thé a volonté. La cuisine et la salle a manger sont a disposition pour pouvoir cuisiner. Les transports en communs (trains) sont a 5 minutes a pieds. Il y a un supermarché a proximité et c'est très sympa de pouvoir vivre au milieu d'un quartier populaire anglais. Nous n'avons eu aucun problème d'insécurité meme en rentrant en pleine nuit. Les lits sont très confortables. Il faut 30 à 45 minutes pour aller dans le centre de Londres en fonction des trains. Attention si vous rentrez tard, la ligne Élisabeth fonctionne jusqu'à 0h10. Je pense qu'il y a des bus plus tard mais je ne peux pas le confirmer. La maison pourrait etre un peu mieux niveau état mais encore faut il pouvoir financièrement... les matériaux ne sont pas de très bonne qualité mais pour quelques jours c'est très suffisant.

Dennis (8/5): Ein guter Ort um Sightseeing in London zu betreiben. - Die Vermieterin war außerordentlich freundlich. Die Lage der Unterkunft war sehr gut. 10 min zu Fuß zum nächsten Bahnhof und es war außerdem eine Straße mit guten Gaststätten in der Nähe.

Monika (8/5): - Paní domácí byla velmi milá, s naší horší angličtinou hned vytáhla mobil a vše nám naťukala do překladače. Všude bylo čisto, v koupelně, kterou jsme měli jen pro sebe, byly také základní kosmetické prostředky (šampon, kondicionér, sprchový gel atd.) Vybavení pokoje zahrnovalo také stolní větrák. Společná kuchyňka v přízemí s možností využití spotřebičů. Majitelka denně přinášela ovoce k rozebrání a také vodu v lahvi, které jsme si brali na naše toulky městem. Metro (Elizabeth line) a stanice vlaku je nedaleko, stejně jako obchodní dům Sainsbury's s nově otevřenou kavárnou Costa coffee. Čtvrt je poklidnější.
