- carlitha (10/5): -
- Franco (8/5): Confortevole - comfort
- Deborah (7/5): Castro is lovely, this hostel less so - Good location at waterside and close to local restaurants. Cramped room.
Ringing the doorbell to get back in at night - curfew of 10pm
- Coline29200 (9/5): - La vue sur le port, la chambre confortable
- PAULI (7/5): -
- huerta (10/5): - La ventana es muy bonita 🪟
- Eliana (1/5): Malo - 1 Nada
- Petite cuisine commune pratique

- Gordon (8/5): Very good -
- José (9/5): Superb -
- Brayan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diana (8/5): Nice Hostal - Very centrally located however the city center and bus station is on top of the hill, so it is steep to go up there. Nice comfortable room, small but good for one person. Good equipped kitchen. Very nice view out of the window. Very noisy if the neighbors watch TV or talk. Street is quiet at night.
- Alejandro (9/5): Superb -
- Paul (8/5): Very good - We enjoyed a double room for 3 nights on 2nd floor with a great view over the water front. It really was one of the best hotel views we have had in s-america. Rooms are basic, but ok. The location is great, but a steep hill from the city centre can be challenging, especially with suitcases on wheels. A cheap taxi ride to bus terminal could of course solve this little problem.
- Sylvie (7/5): Good -
- Aitroncoso (6/5): The place is nice, the rooms are just about right. - The location is great. Close to all touristic areas. And in downtown. No hookers for hanging anything apart from a very tiny closet. There is an unpleasant light in the toilet, pointing to your face.
- Tiago (9/5): Fantastic - Clean and cozy rooms, lovely staff and great location.
- Laikin (9/5): Superb -
- Chantal (8/5): Very good - Nice location next to the coast, friendly staff which cleaned our rooms everyday and kept the accomodation tidy.
- Margot (9/5): Superb -
- Jacques (10/5): Exceptional - The woman at the front desk of the hostal was lovely! She was very kind and patient in dealing with a change we needed to make due to a conflict with our bus and flight. We highly recommend Hostal Costa Azul for the cleanliness and comfort and especially the kind staff! Merci Costa Azul for a great albeit brief stay! 2 travelers from 🇨🇦.
- Dalila (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet, warm A bit noisy - the walls are very thin so easy to hear other guests talking in their rooms
- Zsófia (10/5): Cosy room with a nice view - Everything was very clean and comfortable. Daily cleaning service. Nice, warm blankets. The tiny kitchen could be used in turns but it was tidy and ideal to prepare tea or something small to eat. The walls are thin, it can cause a hard time if other guests are loud. The hostal closes at 11 pm, for us it was no problem but take this into consideration if you stay here.
- George (5/5): Passable -
- Emma (8/5): Nice place on the waterfront - We had a room on the top floor looking at the water. It felt even more pleasant and cosy than the photos. Everything was clean and well maintained. Shower and wifi were decent. The hosts kept our belongings safe in their apartment when we went for a multi day camping trip, but it would be even better if they had a cupboard to put the bags. As with pretty much all the places we’ve stayed, soundproofing is nonexistent. You can hear people snore through the walls. Bring earplugs. The 11 o’clock curfew isn’t great but wasn’t a big problem for us.
