Guest Reviews
- Eken (8/5): - Great location, nice room with a view. Clean bathroom and kitchen. Host is nice. Definitely worth for the price and general comfort. Bed frame is too close to ground and it's one side is edge to the wall. There is a big wardrobe in the room which you won't need probably, this space could be improved for luggage placement. This details are not crucial but could be effective if you are 2 people.

- Zara (8/5): - My 3 nights in Isabellas were lovely - perfect location for the areas I wanted to visit in London, lovely view from the room, towels, comfy bed, nice spot to sit at the window, plenty of space in the wardrobe, tv and bathroom/shower was lovely too. Had use of the fridge so could get a grocery shop, was able to use the kettle and microwave too and Isabella was very friendly :) I would stay here again! The bed is a little low for anyone with mobility issues but I found it comfortable enough. Another thing to note - you have to collect the key from a shop near Southwark station so just keep that in mind on the days you are checking in & out to allow time to collect the keys and leave them back again for the cleaners :) These are just things to keep in mind

- Summer (8/5): - Didn't like having to pick-up the key. 7 minute walk from place
- Younous (10/5): Amazing ! - Isabella is such a great lady !! The property was so so clean and calm

- Anita (6/5): - Z plusów lokalizacja i ladna łazienka.

- Deb (8/5): - Fabulous location. Clean and cozy. Collecting the key from a secondary location was a bit inconvenient after two back to back long haul flights, but staff kindly offered to skip key return for a small fee at check out.
- lidia (1/5): - BONJOUR.

- Berano (9/5): -
- Carolien (8/5): -
- Jen (8/5): Easy access to London and easy night sleep - View of St Paul’s Cathedral from bedroom window. room was clean, perfect location for central London, exactly as described. We couldn’t cook due to health and safety of using the cooker, the water flow was poor in bathroom facilities but this was not likely permanent as it was good the first day. Having to go to a shop half mile away to get and drop off key which doubled back to where we had to go each time.
- García Ruiz (10/5): Perfecto. - La ubicación es perfecta. Lo de las llaves es muy tedioso y la cama era un poco incomoda, pero la verdad que no pasa nada, está todo tan cerca y es una ubicación tan buena que merece la pena.
- Gaarsdal (8/5): - Really nice.
The bed was good and the host was really sweet.
Perfect placement to the Thames and really close to the station. Nothing to do with the host, all to do with the downstairs neighbour; who was smoking at all hours of the day. But we closed the window and managed it all right.
Again: NOTHING to do with the host.
- Kevin (7/5): - Lovely room and host
- salem (7/5): Tres noches en Londres - La localidad a transporte publico restaurantes y cafes. Si tu quiero solo una cama mientres exploracion Londres esta habitacion es bueno. Nesicitas compartir el bano con otra personas.
- Isabella (8/5): Nice stay in good locatikn - Location was very good and the room itself was very spacious. Walkable distance to multiple tourist attractions. I did not understand from the listing that the lady who owns the apartment actually lives there but to be honest I did not see or interact with her at all (she was definitely there though).
- Chansada (7/5): Good - Location is good just beside the blackfriar train station.. room is large and comfortable.. landlord is friendly 1. Information in booking.com is not clear, I thought I got room with private bathroom and toilet, but it was only a shared bathroom...
2. The place to get and drop the key is a bit far from facility... they should use locker attach somewhere in facility like other provider do...the facility is just beside Blackfriar station.. will be very convenient to get the key in facility.. but I had to carry luggeges to get and drop the key in other place a bit far
- Christophe (8/5): Very good - Close to the Tate Modern. Walking distance to Coty.
- Lucy (8/5): Pleasant stay in central London - Lovely conversation with host Isabella and had a pleasant stay. Amazing night views of the Thames river. Tea and coffee facilities available, enjoyed a cuppa (tea) with the window view. Central location.
- Swan (6/5): Cosy Flat with a good view and a nice host - The location was fantastic with a good view, perfect for what we needed.
Everything was clean, and the access to the kitchen was very handy.
The host was really nice and friendly. It was quite warm at times and this could make it a bit uncomfortable in the flat.
It wasn't made clear prior to booking that someone would be staying in the flat with us although it was not an issue it was just something that would have been nice to know.
The height of the bed was a bit low for my liking but still comfortable.
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Hasna (7/5): We are happy with this stay. - The location. The bed was comfortable. The flat has a kitchen as well.
- Andrea (9/5): Superb - The host of the apartment was very nice and welcoming, the location of the apartment is amazing and the view from the bedroom was so beautiful. The apartment was very clean and there was a fridge, microwave and kettle that guest are able to use. I would have preferred knowing it was a shared apartment and not a hotel before I got the check-in details, I don't think that was made clear in the listing. Getting the keys to the apartment is more work then I would have liked having taking a few international flights and having a lot of luggage that I was carrying.
- Marissa (8/5): Very good -
- Nick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yim (3/5): Poor - The location and the view from room is really good. It is not suitable for travellers like me travel alone carrying a 23 kg luggage first need to take the keys where is not close to the building.
- William (8/5): Lovely, Private Room in Ideal location in Central London for Tourists and those on Business Trips - Perfect Location in Central London, near sightseeing locations such as Tate Modern
Comfortable, Spacious Clean Room with great view of river Thames
Good Showering and Bathroom facilities
Easy key-pick up and drop-off No option for food storage or cooking etc.. however, brilliant food options nearby so this wasn’t an issue!
- Laura (8/5): Very good -
- Juan (7/5): * - It is very well located. The room has an Iron and an adapter for electricity which is a blessing. On despite of the title, I didnt realize I was actually sharing the floor which was a let down even though the landlady was lovely. Also the bed is one of these bed-couch, its comfortable but too close to the ground, not recomendable if you have back issues.
- Choi (8/5): Very good - The room is clean, located in excellent location, just 5 mins away from Tate Mordern, and surrounded by nice restaurants.
- Ethan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eva (10/5): Exceptional - I actually love everything about the room. Amazing view in the Center of London, just next to Tate Modern. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. I had privacy as well as nice chat with lady living in the apartment. Before I arrived I've got very clear instruction for everything I need to know. So I havent got any problem all my stay. Price was very affordable, as well. I would recommend this room to all my friends, who wants visit London. Thank you :)
- Claudia (10/5): Very good location, clean room and with a wonderful view. - Location
- Nicole (9/5): Superb -
- Neža (8/5): cozy, good location - Good location, nice room. Issabela didn’t tell exactly which room - 54 or 53. When we came (it was more than 1PM), the room wasn’t clean. It’s a bit inconvenient to pick up and drop off the keys.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Christine (8/5): Very good - It was well situated with amenities nearby and easy access to tube links. I did not get the chance to meet the owner.
- Julie (6/5): Excellent for location and convenience but challenging if you have knee issues. - The location was excellent for view, underground, National Rail, bus, Hop On Hop Off bus, Uber boat, grocery shop and cafe and a Pub for meals and drink. Also convenience of walking along The Thames in evening and attractions. As an older woman … the bed height was too low and made it a struggle to get out of even though it was comfortable to sleep in. The chairs for sitting at window dangerous with balance for getting on and off as they fold. The step up into the shower with only a narrow fixed space to get through was dangerous though water lovely and hot. Being unaware before booking that the owner would also be living in the flat with me.
- Pauline (10/5): Higher than expected - Room in the apartment is very nice and close to the centre with a nice view
- Mr (10/5): Exceptional - Very simple instructions, perfect location, very clean. N/A
- Nadine (10/5): Would recommend for solo travellers - Great location and good value for money
- Jakub (9/5): Superb - Perfect location in central London. This is an appartment, where you get your own room. the owner is living there as well. So you have common bathroom. If this bothers you, look elsewhere. But you will not get anything in this great location for such a great price. You can use microvawe and kettle in the kitchen as well and also you can store something in small fridge. The bad is not as big as you might expect, so, it is probably not good for two people, if both of you are big or you are used to have a lot of space in bed. The owner was very helpfull, she explained everything to us and if we needed to ask something, she was willing to help us. Also the shower was no problem to use, the instructions we got were prettey clear and even my mom, who doesn't speak english at all and is older had no problem to use it, when I explained to it, how it works. So, if you are going to London to spend your time in the city and you are looking for a location where you are close to almost everything, I will highly recommended this accommodation, because the price is great for such a location. But, if you are looking for something more luxurious, then this is not for you.
- Ivo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julie (9/5): Great place to stay in London - The place is very clean, big comfortable bed, amazing shower. Towels are provided. Even though it is a room in someone's apartment, she is really quiet. I personally did not meet her during my 4 days stay. The location is perfect, you can walk or take the subway to center London easily.
- Stevie (6/5): Pleasant -
- Corbeau (6/5): Great location but misleading description and the key situation was very disruptive - Location was excellent. It was very disruptive and impractical to have to walk 10min to get the key and then return with with luggage. The host also had a very loud alarm in the morning that went on for over 10min.
The room was portrayed as a hotel room on booking.com and the shared bathroom situation was not mentioned. This was not a pleasant surprise.
- Oskar (5/5): Great location, too hot apartment. - Very nice location, close to two metro/underground stations and a great view of the Themsen river. The apartment was very clean. It had a elevator, which was nice with our bagage and a room on the 6th floor. We thought we would have the bathroom for ourselves, there were a rule against having sex in the bed and it was crazy hot in the apartment, despite there being cold outside. We opened a window in our rooom, and never closed it. The key system was a bit of a hassle. Didn't get new towels during our 4-day stay.
- Anonymous (9/5): The location couldn’t be better & the view from the room was absolutely stunning. My stay in London was very enjoyab - the location was amazing,
easy access to public transportation,
the owner of the property was very friendly and helpful,
the view from the room was breathtaking
- Hollis (5/5): Passable -
- Louisa (9/5): Great value for money, super comfy and very homely feeling. - The location was great, being next to the train station made it super easy to get around. beautiful view and the bed was super comfy! The window didn’t quite seal properly so if people were talking loud or yelling outside you could hear them very clearly
- Sam (3/5): The room was a comfortable base for a night or two and it is situated ideally for the heart of London. - it’s location is the only redeeming feature of this property when I booked this back in March/February of this year I specifically asked for a hotel, it is not a hotel, it’s a flat.
- Jil (4/5): we avoided to stay Lingen as required there - Directly at the Themse it is only one small room in a flat. the visitors must share the Toilet with the Owner of the flat. Owner is living there as usual.
- Benturado (8/5): Miss A - The view of our room is fantastic! Location wise - it's in the centre. First time to visit London and would highly recommend this place as it's just infront of the river. The location is in between London Eye/Big Ben and Tower of London. Millenium Bridge is just few steps away, city view can be much appreciated from there too! Surrounded by restaurants, coffee shops and different tourist attractions.
Clean room and area. Owner is just next room but respects privacy. 1. Shower. At first, when shower was turned on - it went well but the time I turned it off, it didn't work anymore. Thus, waited for several minutes (around 30mins) to realize it's not the pumping system for the water line that has been affected but I think the main showerhead is defective. I suddenly realized why not pull down the 'smaller showerhead' like down on the legs then it suddenly worked pretty well.
2. The fact that we need to collect and return the keys in KeyNest store - takes around 7mins by walk but when you've got luggages to bring, it would be very time consuming.
3. Owner sets her alarm early where I can really hear it from the room. Being a light sleeper, I can be easily disturbed by the alarm and or any noises made nearby.
- Dawid (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helen (9/5): Superb - Location was fantastic. The bed, a bit low but very comfortable
- Nigel (10/5): Perfect bolt hole to explore London - the location - overlooking the Thames, St Pauls Cathedral and right next to the Tate Modern
- Roslyn (9/5): great location and comfortable - very good location. great view from the window. comfortable. has an outside patio which has a lovely view. I didn’t like how I had to pick up the keys from a different location while dragging our suitcases on and the underground and then trying to walk to the apartment. i feel the owner should meet us there. we couldn’t work the shower properly. Also the last night there was music coming from the other room and we couldn’t sleep. otherwise wonderful place to stay.
- Leighanna (3/5): Less than expected. - Absolutely fabulous location. Easy to walk or bike to many attractions in the area. There were some issues with getting the hot water to turn on in the shower. Took 2 days to figure it out. We ran out of toilet paper and couldn’t get ahold of the host for more. The bed is very low to the floor and the pillows were very firm.
- Sean (10/5): Leitrim man in london - The flat could not be any more central...and next to every thing torrest or local person would need .The apparent could have picture to show where it is(from musiam side... But still easy enough to fine...Other then that stay was perfect
