• Sharad (8/5): - Perfect location for hikes in the park. Rooms are clean but small and basic. Staff is super friendly and helpful. They do accept credit card payments but only in euros and not leke. We had dinner at their restaurant and the food was medicore and very overpriced. Drive 5 min further to Restaurant Apollonia who serve excellent food. Besides pricing is much lower (they only accept cash payments though)

Vor allem die beiden Brüder sind sehr aufmerksam und immer hilfsbereit. Super Frühstück und sehr schöne Wanderrouten gehen von dort aus. Gerne mehr vegetarische Gerichte.

All you can hear is the sound of birds 😊 Near the hiking points (do Caesars trail for a shorter hike with an incredible view!). We were surprised to find they have draft beer which was thoroughly enjoyed after our hike (it seems very little places have this in Albania in May). Perfect!

• Vincent (10/5): Wir können diese Unterkunft von Herzen weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. - Wir haben vier wunderschöne Tage in dieser familiengeführten Pension im Nationalpark verbracht und uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Besonders schön fanden wir den Restaurantbereich mit dem holzbefeuerten Kamin, der eine sehr warme und angenehme Atmosphäre schafft. Das Essen war hervorragend, hausgemacht – mit italienischem Einfluss – und jeden Tag ein Genuss. Die Pension liegt direkt an einem Wanderweg, sodass man sofort mitten in der Natur ist und die Umgebung perfekt erkunden kann. Die Gastgeberfamilie war außergewöhnlich freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns viele gute Tipps zu den Wanderwegen und zu Albanien im Allgemeinen gegeben. Außerdem sprechen sie sehr gut Englisch, was die Kommunikation sehr angenehm gemacht hat. Wir sind mit unserem kleinen Baby gereist und auch unser Kind wurde unglaublich liebevoll aufgenommen. Während wir gegessen haben, haben die Gastgeber unseren Kleinen sogar öfter auf den Arm genommen – eine Aufmerksamkeit, die wir sehr geschätzt haben. -

• Zuzana (10/5): - Gorgeous place with an absolutely delicious breakfast. The place was spotless clean, very comfortable. Definitely recommend to stay for at least two nights. The owners are very nice and helpful, even recommended a hike for one day and gave us a free lift to the Pass on the next morning when we had a long hike to Iljas ahead of us. If you are hiking the coast as we did, and think about this route, make sure you have a good map with live offline!! location. The trail pretty much disapears after Maja Cikes and the last part down to Iljas is extremely bushy and very hard to navigate. We made it only thanks to the great Mapy.com app. But it is an absolutely beautiful hike with stunning views, meadows and some rock scrambling around Maja Cikes. No people around for the whole trail. PS. The trail to the top of the mountain was still covered in snow at the and of April.
• cianfry (9/5): Immerso nel bosco - posizione strategica per fare trekking, molti sentieri intorno, senza necessità di prendere l'auto (parcheggio privato davanti alla struttura). Inoltre, a una ventina di minuti di macchina ci sono le spiagge (da entrambi i lati, orikum-valona e dhermi ecc), così da poter alternare mare e montagna. Strada panoramica bellissima. Le camere sono pulite e ben fornite. Letti comodi. Silenzioso e tranquillo. Prezzo del pernottamento vantaggioso. Colazione inclusa, abbondante. Fa anche da ristorante, sia a pranzo che a cena, prezzi nella media (15 euro a testa). Menù con diversi piatti tradizionali e in aggiunta qualche specialità italiana (da italiana avrei preferito avere più scelta di piatti albanesi). Tutto molto buono. Possibilità di mangiare anche nei vari hotel/ristoranti vicini. I gestori molto gentili e disponibili, parlano sia inglese che italiano. Mi piacerebbe tornarci. Colazione da variare un po'. Pasta troppo cotta. Da organizzare meglio il servizio al tavolo e check out.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, um kleine und größere Touren im Llogara Nationalpark zu laufen. Die Natur ist wunderschön. Sehr gutes Frühstück sowie sehr leckeres Abendessen, insbesondere die selbstgemachten Ravioli. Nächstes Mal planen wir mehr als eine Nacht ein.

• Rebekka (8/5): - Das Hotel liegt wunderschön im Wald gelegen. Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Die Familie ist sehr nett und macht super leckeres Essen. Die Zimmer sind älter, aber ausreichend ausgestattet. Leider war uns die Matratze zu hart und machte bei jeder Bewegung Geräusche.

The beds were very comfy. Everyone from the invitees said they had the best sleep of their lives :) indeed I felt the same. I woke the next day very energetic, although had gone to sleep very late. The breakfast was literally "to die for"

Gestita benissimo da persone squisite di una disponibilità che è difficilissimo trovare oggigiorno. Persone che amano i luoghi in cui sono nati e sono tornati per vivere e lavorare e il loro lavoro che è più una vocazione. Ti fanno sentire a casa e non come un semplice ospite. Cibo eccezionale, materie prime squisite cucinate sapientemente con piatti della tradizione che meritano di essere provati. Siamo stati felicissimi di queste esperienze che ci resterà nel cuore. Posti come questo sono un dono e vanno preservati in tutta la loro straordinaria ricchezza e identità. Semplicemente grandiosi! Grazie di cuore per tutto! Nulla tutto semplicemente perfetto
• El Domino (7/5): - Le cadre isolé et hyper calme, reposant en pleine montagne ; la proximité immédiate des départs de ballades dans ce parc naturel national ( Llogara) ; le petit déjeuner délicieux et de grande qualité "home made ", le personnel très attentif à nos questions et demandes ; l'accueil très hospitalier et le partage en toute simplicité (on a reçu une part de gâteau pour fêter l'anniversaire du propriétaire... 😁 ) La salle de bain vétuste et à la mode albanaise ( = la douche de plein pied arrose toute la sdb , le wc et l'évier) ; la chambre était vétuste et manquait de propreté (pas d'odeur franche de propre dés l'entrée) ...

Porte patio avec moustiquaire laissée ouverte toute la nuit. Géré par famille propriétaire très accueillante. Restaurant annexé qui sert de l'excellente nourriture préparée par la mère et un fils. Rien du tout.

Reichhaltiges und leckeres Frühstück. Bad wie fast immer in Albanien nicht von der Toilette getrennt sodass beim Duschen alles nass wird

• Livia (10/5): Piacevole soggiorno - Un posticino davvero carino e accogliente. La famiglia che gestisce la guest house è estremamente gentile e disponibile. Ambiente pulito, camere confortevoli, cucina eccezionale. La proprietaria ai fornelli produce dei ravioli che non hanno nulla da invidiare a quelli delle sfogline bolognesi. E poi sono tutti davvero gentili e socievoli, pronti a soddisfare qualsiasi esigenza del cliente. Una menzione particolare va a Daniel, uno dei tre figli dei proprietari, ragazzo davvero simpatico e gentile, che ha curato quasi sempre i nostri pasti. Torneremo sicuramente, forse addirittura in inverno. Grazie

• Edelle (10/5): Charming guesthouse with wonderful food - Our stay at this family-run guesthouse was a highlight of our trip. The room was very modern, and had everything that was needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were very charming, and the on-site restaurant serves wonderful food. We noticed that it was among the busiest restaurants in the area, which is a testament to their attention to detail and the quality of their service. The breakfast was the absolutely the best we’ve had in the past two weeks during our trip, truly outstanding. our trip continued at a resort on the beach, and we actually drove back up the mountain to the guest house one evening for dinner because the food was so good. There are wonderful hiking trails right down the road. The walls are rather thin, and the television of the next room is mounted right on the other side of your wall. So it the neighboring guests are not considerate and have their TV volume high the sound can be loud even though it’s in another room.

Tout le personnel est adorable et soucieux de vos besoins/envies. Le petit-déjeuner servi est extrêmement copieux et complet (le meilleur de nos 3 semaines de road trip), tout est fait maison, nous étions là pour faire des randonnées, c'était donc l'idéal pour débuter la journée ! L'environnement est sublime, sur la route mais très au calme, en bordure de forêt et au pied du départ de très jolies randonnées (de 1 à 6 heures "validées"). Nous étions 3, la chambre avec le lit d'appoint n'est pas très grande mais c'est vraiment un petit détail !

• Lionel (10/5): - Très bel endroit, famille très gentille, restaurant de grillades au top en plus des fameuses raviolis. Chambre basique mais très propre, super point de chute pour trekker dans les environs. Nous on même fait un panier repas en remplacement du déjeuner car nous partions au levé du soleil avant l heure du pdj

• André (10/5): Perfeita - Tivemos uma experiência fenomenal, todos os funcionários são extremamente simpáticos e atenciosos, sentimo-nos sempre em casa. A comida é maravilhosa e o pequeno almoço sensacional, para além disso os quartos são modernos e muito recentemente remodelados. As redondezas são muito bonitas e silenciosas, parece um daqueles hotéis dos filmes de natal 😅
• Joël-Anyss (8/5): Séjour agréable. - La proximité avec les sentiers de randonnée. Le calme du lieu très reposant avec une grande terrasse extérieure. Les repas ne sont pas très bons.

• Sophie (10/5): Kind host with very nice rooms - A very kind host who loves advising where you should go hiking in the national park. Very clean, quiet and dark rooms, so sleeping here is amazing! Definitely worth a visit if you go to Albania.
