Guest Reviews
- Nadina (9/5): felt like home!
No puedo mencionar nada

- Kaja (10/5): Die beste Dusche in Bolivien!
- Mathilde (10/5): Exceptional -

The entire property is very nice to go around you feel like home. The beds are comfy and clean.
Free tea and coffee all day, and you can use the fridge and kitchen.
Hot shower and good pressure.
Perfect location.
Last but not least, the amazing host is a sweetheart !!

- Lizzy (10/5): Exceptional - By far the best hostel (and breakfast) we’ve stayed at during our 2 months-trip in South America! Everything is super comfortable and clean. The owner is extremely caring and helpful for her guests. Definitely the best choice in Tarija! Nothing :)

- Stephan (10/5): A great place to relax and feel at home - Such a cool and helpful host, really made us feel at home and even helped us book a wine tour and our bus tickets to Tupiza. The room was cosy with a great shower. The breakfast buffet was pretty cool too and the bright courtyard has some nice furniture to relax on. Kitchen has lots of great utensils and is very clean. Great location in Tarija, 2 minute walk to the Mercado and another five to the town center. Nada
- Susana (10/5): Amazing! - Ten out of ten. The house is beautiful, the rooms are sparkling clean, the breakfast is extremely generous, location is great, wifi works fine, the kitchen is fully equipped and, most importantly, Gina is amazing and super helpful. She changed me to a warmer, better room because I arrived feeling sick and she let me stay in my room until late after check out because my bus was departing by night. Amazing!

- Esther (10/5): Amazing! Manager, location, rooms, breakfast; all great! - Our stay was amazing! The hostel looks super good, our room was very nice, the bed amazing and the shower warm. The lady that works at the hostel is super friendly and helpful. They even allowed us to check-in at 8.30 in the morning and we could stay in our room the next day until 5pm when we had to leave to the bus. Also the breakfast was amazing, lots of different pastries, strawberries, oatmeal, just great! The location is also perfect and in the middle of the city. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Nothing really
- Ariela (9/5): welcoming, laid back stay - Lovely hostel owned by the loveliest family, more like a home stay

- Adam (10/5): Comfortable, clean, friendly people, and safe - Very spacious house and very clean. The owner and her daughter are very nice and helpful
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional - The owner is fanstastic. She let us check in very early, right as we arrived in town. She is super helpful and has lots of recommendation of things to do around town.
The place is very nice and spotlessly clean. The room had everything we need.
Breakfast was nice and the owner is happy for suggestions if there is anything specific you want she can get it for you the following day.
The place exceeded our expectations.
- Jakob (10/5): It feels more like home than in a hostel. - This place is so fantastic I did not want to leave again. Very helpful owner. She organised a wine tasting and stargazing for us. Also she had very good restaurant recommendations. The rooms are nice and well prepared. They standardly have a fan if it is to warm. Nothing.
- Kitty (10/5): Great hostel, even better host - Excellent space and location. Gina was an amazing host and was so kind and helpful and even reserved a wine tour for us. We were also able to access our room early after arriving via night bus, and able to remain at the hostel until our late departure. The kitchen is really well equipped and breakfast was very generous. The hostel is clean and comfy and very nearby the centre of town.
- Silvana (10/5): Exceptional - If i could i would give more than 10 stars. It was one of the best stays in 15 months traveling! Thanks a lot.

- Fiona (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely kind host - really made our stay special and comfortable, quick to assist with all sorts of things like onward tickets, taxis, comfort, extended check out as we were getting a night bus. Namaste hostel was sparkling clean, best bed so far in S America and great location 2 blocks from main square. Highly recommended. Oh and an amazing, generous breakfast too. Nothing.
- Veterspoley (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice, extremely clean and colourful apartments:)
Quite and calm. After crazy travel in Bolivia it was the best decision to stay here for some time. Thanks to the owner for help and information. Breakfast 🙏 If you want to make a zoom call, maybe wifi is not good enough.
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional - This place was a dream ! My favourite parts were firstly the owner - she was so kind, warm , caring and lovely - she spent so much time with us - helping us with ideas of what to do and even booking a wine tour for us. I really enjoyed our conversations in the big open air magnificent courtyard . The breakfast provided was amazing - always with fresh fruit and many choices and cheeses and breads and strong coffee. The kitchen also gave us the possibility to make our own meals or bring back a pizza (amazing spot right across the street) and enjoy it with a local wine from our tour. Tarija as a whole was a surprise - it's nothing like the rest of high altitude Bolivia I have seen (and love ,)- it boasts a warmth and a tropical climate with palm trees and people sitting all around the squares enjoying late meals with delicious wines (and feels a lot more like Argentina in many ways).
Our room was magnificent - colorful, warm and big with an extremely comfortable bed and bedding. Our bathroom was outside the room and turned out to be a private one which I didn't expect - it was spacious and gorgeous with all kinds of toiletries. We also had a huge living room (and since no one was in the room next to us it was all for us ) with a luscious blue couch and many calming elements fitting for the Namaste name ! Thank you for the most beautiful experience ❤️
- Louise (10/5): The loveliest hostel! - This is a lovely, welcoming hostel in a good location in the centre of town, with clean, spacious rooms and a great included breakfast.
However what really made our stay was the host, Genna. She helped us plan a hike to a lovely waterfall in the north of the city (Chorros de Marquiri), booked us on to a wine tour and went above and beyond when I needed some medical attention after we had checked out. She organised us an extra night’s accommodation with very little notice and even came to the hospital with her son to give us a set of keys and check we were ok. They are two of the kindest people we have met on our travels through South America and we would absolutely recommend the hostel based on their wonderful hospitality. -
- Meghan (10/5): Would stay again - So welcoming and helpful, rooms are great, as are the shared areas and kitchen. Breakfast was really good. Flexible with check in and check out times. Location was really good for walking about. Nothing.
- Eva (10/5): wonderful stay in Tarija - we loved the hostel. breakfast was great and we booked a great wine tour through the owner. would definitely recommend if you are in Tarija! showers were also super hot and everything was clean as can be!
- Erki (10/5): I will recommend this place to everybody that connects with his soul and wants to live in peace - The place was absolutely amazing. The moment I walked in the door, it felt like home. The name Namaste really lives up to the reputation. I felt at peace living there for 3 days and Gina is an absolutely wonderful soul, helping me with anything I needed and had the greatest energy a human could possibly have.
Ps: the breakfasts were absolutely phenomenal, I have travelled for 5+ years and haven't had this type of great breakfasts everyday and lived in such an amazing place. Everything was perfect !
- Pilar (10/5): Excellent value and location. Highly recommended - Breakfast was excellent with a variety of fruit and pastries. The owner was really nice and helpful in everything we needed. Location excellent very closed to the central market and the main square.
- Katie (9/5): great stay! - The owner and her daughter are very accomodating and so lovely. Great location and nice breakfast. n/a
- Beatriz (10/5): I am a solo traveler, and in the years that I have been traveling and using this app. I can say that this is the best a - everything, just amazing, clean, the location is A+, the staff, the breakfast, everything is amazing
- Nikko (10/5): Great stay - Strong wifi! Very clean and comfortable stay. I would have loved to stay longer if I had more time. Amazing customer service :) and incredible breakfast!
- Alisa (10/5): Very nice stay - I really enjoyed my stay at Namaste Hostel in Tarija. The friendly hosts helped me with everything and received all their guests in a lovely, familiar manner. I am so thankful that I stayed with them and would definitely recommend it!
