Guest Reviews
- otmaneh2019 (2/5): Horrible - The worst building you can ever try to stay at!
I went there on 01st Jan for one night the room was smelly I had to go buy my air freshener outside to keep using whole night, plus, if you are a light sleeper just forget about sleeping my friend thw whole building is located exactly on the main noisy road and train, and the building is not soundproof so you will hear anything clearly inside your ears. So basically this is not a hotel this is a building they are renting without giving proper definition to the clients until they come and discover by themselves. My one night there was nightmare I didn’t sleep I asked them to change the room they it’s all the same so I had to stay patiently until morning I checked out very early went to another hotel with great reputation, my advise do not think about saving some bucks by going here because you will end up losing, better search well for your own convenience.
- RichelleC06 (8/5): Simple but comfortable Room - i got a good price from this room through online booking and upon arrival everything is okay but the staff in reception cannot speak english properly but it's okay because she is nice and polite. also the room is nice and clean. The location is near by seven eleven which is very convenient.
- jeetu776 (2/5): Avoid please! - Horrible! We had reservation through online and already paid the full amount when we got here. But we couldn’t stand long even for five minutes due to extremely bad smell in the reception cum lobby cum restaurant! We waited outside and couldn’t actually decide whether to reside here or look for another hotel, even though we paid in advance. After almost an hour we decide to check in the room and found even more dirty bed, curtain, toilet had no exhaust fan or shower curtain! All the lights (for room and for bathroom) are to be switched on from one single switch point. There is a refrigerator which is non-functional and had awfully horrible smell. The box type TV in the room reminded me of my childhood of 1980’s! Bedsheet is dirty, no clothes drying option,
- SuperPanda (6/5): Creepy but good location - On the 1st day when i checked in at night, i freaked out. The place is run down. The corridor was dark and quiet with the old flooring, old wooden doors and torn wall. And there was totally no lights at the stairs. Once i entered the room, the deco was old which makes it even more creepy. But the next day when there was sunlight, it looks alot less creepy and i began to feel at ease. Apart from the creepy 1st impression, the place has some good points like a good location which is just beside the bts and within walking distance to malls. The staff are friendly and helpful. The cleanliness level is acceptable. But do take note to stay in rooms away from the bts station as it can be noisy. Overall, for this price, it's a pretty ok deal
- L8277IZpeterj (6/5): Location is great. - The hotel is old and needs an upgrade but it prices itself accordingly, it’s main feature is its location next to the BTS which will get you anywhere. MBK and Siam centre are two minutes walk and for shopaholics it is perfect. The rooms are clean enough and the shower works, the bed is firm, the aircon is noisy and the breakfast is acceptable. The staff are good and the lift works, what more do you want from a hotel that is twenty metres away from a large chain hotel which is twice as expensive.
- shinkawazoe (6/5): A little bit dirty - We stayed in this hotel just a few hours before we go to the airport.
The location is excellent. Very near from the BTS. This was the reason why we booked this hotel.
The walls of the bedrom and the bathrom was dirty and looks like there is a licking watter.
- JoelT1860 (2/5): Horrendous Staff, Disgusting toilet, Worst experience - Extremely rude staff, disgusting toilet (heater not even working, multiple cockroaches spotted), smelly lobby, hard bed, weak Aircon, do not be fooled by its location, this is the worst experience ever
- vincil2014 (2/5): Worst staff, service and ammenities - Dont book here. Period. The place is old, not properly maintained, rude staff and no wifi service. The water heater is not working properly.
You will have problem conversing in english with the staff.
Find other hotels within the same street.
- greenmandalabhutan (6/5): Great location, cheap price and decent service - Its location is great. Just a road dividing it from the popular MBK shopping center. It is also one station away from Siam Paragon.
If you want to do shopping in Bangkok and if you are looking for a cheap, convenient place to stay, this is an ideal place. But don't expect the services to be great. As I have said, it is a cheap place to stay with one bednight averaging from 1200 to 1500 Baht.
Despite being a small place, it has a 24 hour kitchen. Again the menu is not extravagant but unlike many 3* hotels in Bangkok which does not offer 24 hours kitchen services, this small place will ensure that you dont go hungry at any time.
- Noorezaa (6/5): Staying for watching coldplay 😁 - We choose to stay in this hotel because the place is located in a crowd place. Just walk around and you'll find many malls and minimarkets.
For making our trip comfortable, we use online transportation.
- Pambudi_Raharjo (2/5): only good is the location - plus : good location next to BTS station
,minus : hard bed, water in bathroom can not be adjusted to warm, there are only 2 options , hot and cold, aircond can not be adjusted too, it is central aircond, you will get cold, receptionist also dont smile to guest
- Tjhin (4/5): Old, Need Upgrade, But Clean - We stayed here because the location is prime, near BTS and cullinary place.
The Hotel are old, furniture and interior is look like never refurbish since 80's.
But the condition is clean.
The room more look like a dormitory room, with old CRT TV, old furniture.
The bathroom is small, has bathtub, but make us difficult to take shower because too narrow.
Food in the hotel menu have many option with reasonable price.
The room itself not cheap.
- m0hammadalk (4/5): Very bad - They were jusy hungry for money. These idiot dont know how to behave woth guest. Greedy people very unfriendly behaviour. No door lock and habdshower in fresh room. Dirty environment. Worst hotel experieence in thailand.
- Putude (4/5): Great Location But - This hotel is located few steps from National Stadium BTS and bus stop. Tuk tuk and taxi are also easy to find here. MBK mall can be reached in a few steps. But when arrived, we could not rest. It's look they drill something. Very noisy.
- dominicm394 (2/5): Terrible Service, Terrible Staff, Uncomfortable Experience. - I have travelled the world with my partner, staying in some 'extreme budget hotels' in India and other various 3rd world countries. I don't care about dirty walls or a bit of a smelly room, especially for $40 p/n. I do expect to be treated like a human being though.
When we arrived, the toilet was blocked, smelly and 1mm away from overflowing. When I told the staff I wanted to chamge rooms, they shouted at me for 'taking too long to repack my bag' and got very angry about the crease on the bedsheet where we put down the suitcase. Not one apology about the toilet or our inconvinience. On the second night, we requested an extra pillow (you only get one and I have a bad neck) in which the staff members started bargaining with the price per pillow as if they where street merchents in a market! The price went from 200 baht for an extra pillow, to 50 baht after 10 minutes, it was borderline comical! When I politely advised that this behaviour was not comfortable, the staff started to shout and abuse me, saying she had no money and was very poor!
I obviously wanted to report the terrible service to the manager (she wasnt working at the time), but the staff REFUSED to give me her name, so I had NO idea who to ask for. I also asked the staff members who abused me for their names (so I could inform the 'no name' manger the next morning) and they refused to give me that too.
When I tried to grab a pen and paper from the front desk in my vain attempt to get their names, the two abusive staff members snatched all the pens and papers and hid them under the counters!
DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL - THERE ARE MANY OTHERS WITH THE SAME FANTASTIC LOCATION, on the same street, that will not treat you like an animal.
After hours of arguing, I finally found out the two staff members where called Nook and Noon, if you do book, avoid these two staff members!
If I could give 0 stars I would, but unfortunately 1 star is the lowest.
WORSE THAN ANY HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT, INCLUDING $8 HOSTELS IN INDIA AND ISRAEL!
DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL!!!!
- 217h_ngl (2/5): The worst hotel I've ever stayed - Stayed two nights at this place during my business trip. It had been too expensive $56/night but not worth for that price. It's very very old, dirty and fogy.
Even have NO toothbrush, toothpaste, soap and toilet paper in the WC. All they have is only bath tower. The WC had the big hole on the wall which been through the bedroom, so it's smelly outside even closing door.
And the fridge is EMPTY, and BROKEN self inside. The air conditioner can not control, it's been turn on and off by circuit breaker, that's why it's too cold! It's no electric water kettle, too.
And the staff is very unfriendly, wearing scowl face. I requested for hot water, they asked 20 THB for the small cup, but I came down to get it directly, it's free. I've forgot my cellphone in the cab front of this hotel, but when I requested to view the camera, they refused impolitely! And I'd e-mail for requesting the scan/ photo of the payment receipt 3 times in English and in Thai, they didn't answer!
It's called Mansion and 3-star hotel but I think it's just hostel after all. The price is too expensive like 4-star hotel, but it's not worth for that! Don't stay away from it or you'll be so frustrated!
- kitsune02 (6/5): Location - Stayed two nights at this place during my business trip in BKK.
It closes to BTS Siam discovery and MBK.
So it's super easy to go to other places.
Don't spend much time in the hotel but good quality for sleep.
Booked online or direct, you will get the same price.
Just one thing disturbs me a lot. I told reception that I will stay another night but when I came back another lady asked me why not inform them about this before we left the hotel in the morning.
Lack of internal communication.
Reception is also a restaurant but never try.
Overall is worth for money.
- katesvee (8/5): Great location - Found and booked this place online, since we wanted a place near BTS. Set low expectations from the reviews. Place was clean and had an AMAZING location for the price. Was walking distance to Siam Center, Siam Paragon, MBK, and a few others in the area if you're up for the walk. Con probably was that the heater was either cold or too hot, but it was hot outside anyway, so it didn't matter that much. The customer service was so-so, but check in and check out was a breeze and didn't take longer than a few minutes.
- 924jakep (8/5): Great location - Staff seemed nice enough, but as I was travelling with a local friend, I didn't communicate with them too much. The location is ridiculously good and the price while a bit too high for a place of this caliber, is very competitive considering the area. Within walking distance from Siam Paragon, Central World and MBK and only a minute or two walk away from National Stadium BTS station.
The building and the rooms show signs of wear and tear if you care about that kind of stuff, but I didn't for these prices on this location. The room wasn't exactly luxurious but the bed was comfortable and room was clean. I did not have the chance to try the restaurant or the wifi.
Too pricy for a budget traveler and not fancy enough for people looking for luxury, but if you're two flashpackers tired of dorms and willing to spend extra few baht for a double room you can't beat the location.
- kamonivar (6/5): OK place - I suggest booking independently as it is cheaper than online. The bed is comfortable and you have a min fridge and drier and air con in the room. I would say it is clean although everything is worn down and the receptionist spoke little English. The place does the job if you want to be close to MBK though.
