Guest Reviews
- Giakoumelos (1/5): Terrible and disgusting - Nothing It was very dirty, very smelly, a lot of damages. It was like it had been abandoned. And it wasn’t the room that is shown in the photos at booking. BOT WORTH IT
- Harleen (6/5): Pleasant -
- Dominik (6/5): Fine for a short term stay - Great location, very close to the main train station. The host was kind, the instructions were really clear. There is an AC in the room which is great also for heating. The room is a part of a studio with other rooms, so you share the hall with others and the walls are pretty thin so keep that in mind. The room was small and not the cleaneast, but it was fine for a short visit. The shower does not look as depicted and the bed was pretty uncomfortable. I have been to many places in italy and I honestly expected much better for this price, but this is maybe just a thing in Naples.
- Twessy (3/5): Not recommended - (1) The shower was dirty. The shower walls were filthy, and there were no tiles at their location. Poor personal hygiene. Therefore, I had to buy slippers to take a shower.
(2) I got room two, In room 1, there was an Italian couple. I was awakened at two and six in the morning by the woman's yelling.
(3) It is quite challenging to go to the fourth floor where the room is located.
(4) Since I was there for a week, I used the same towels, and they weren't replaced.
(5) I would be handy to put a microwave to preheat leftovers
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional - It's very close to Piazza Garibaldi and a lot of tourist attractions and it's typical napoletano, the building, the room everything. Not perfect but you'll like it a lot. The area might not look like that but it's super safe, I went out at night, everything was OK.
I followed the instructions and got there easily, checked in earlier and the host was very helpful.
Yes, it's in a bit noisy neighborhood but for me that's not a big issue, actually a part of Napoli's charm.
The price is great for what it's offering.
The building has no elevator. Again, for me that's not an issue at all but might be for some tourists .
- Zhelyazko (5/5): Passable - great location for exploring the city, close to the train station and transport links, however the area itself is not friendly especially for walking alone at night. Self check-in option was a great advantage There was a missing toilet seat in the bathroom, the door barely closes and there was damp smell in the room so we had to open the balcony door every once and a while. No real sunlight inside the room due to the room view and can get quite noisy during rush hours
- Tainá (4/5): Cheap accomodation with ok location. - The location was good as it was close to the train station, aircon worked well and it was clean. We weren’t given the room we booked for, there was no proper windows so smelled a bit mouldy. The shower wasn’t attached to the wall (probably broken) and there was no toilet seat which was very annoying.
- Peceny (6/5): Pleasant - i extremely appreciate willingness of the host the room is not as clean as the pictures show, the area (central Naples) is noisy and dirty
- Brigitta (2/5): Overall, the accommodation was a significant letdown and did not match the description and photos. I do not recommend it - On the positive side, the room had air conditioning, a refrigerator, and a washing machine. Shampoo, shower gel, and towels were also provided. Based on the photos, the accommodation seemed to have a nice and well-equipped kitchen. However, the reality was completely different. While the pictures showed cabinets, a stove, and a microwave, there were no utensils at all. The kitchen only had the few items shown in the pictures, making meal preparation very difficult.
The bathroom condition was particularly disappointing. It did not resemble the clean and modern room shown in the photos. The floor was dirty, and there was no toilet paper on the first day, which is a basic expectation for any accommodation.
The room itself also had issues. The bedside table was broken. Additionally, the terrace was not as inviting as we expected. It only had a small coffee table and an old, worn-out stool, far from the comfortable outdoor space we hoped for.
- Grkovic (3/5): Poor - It was clean and the room was big. There was a place to dry laundry and towels, which is useful. There isn't a kitchen, although it is shown in the photos, not even a small one to make a coffee.
Our room had no windows, and that was also not shown in the photos about it. I probably wouldn't have booked it, if I knew these things in advance.
- Sanya (9/5): Superb -
- Vineela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Glaiza (7/5): Decent for an overnight stay - It was cheaper than most hotels in Naples and a few minutes away from the Napoli Centrale. Very convenient for an overnight stay. The room was in 5th floor without any elevator so it is a hassle with luggages. The facade was also not very appealing.
- Krisztian (7/5): Good -
- Iliyana (9/5): The location is perfect- near to everything you need. The room was clean and big. As typical for Italy, it was noisy aro - The room was clean and big. The location is perfect, everything you need is near- the central station, the metro, a bus stop to the airport, shops, caffès, restaurants. There is a balcony which is great. There wasn’t hot water in the bathroom for the sink, but for the shower was ok.
I recommend to the owner to have some cutlery and plates in the kitchen. Also an iron would be a plus.
- Vendula (4/5): Disappointing - terrible location..
we were afraid to go out at night.
the bathroom curtain was attached to the shelf.
the tiles in the dog shower dug into our feet and fell out.
Not to mention mold.
The staff was pleasant and
"quality" for the money you probably couldn't expect anything else,
- Haq (8/5): Very good -
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vasiliki (7/5): Good -
- Tamer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lucy (8/5): Very good - Appreciated being able to check in earlier. Room was really spacious and very clean. Had everything we needed in the room and was really comfy. Also a really good location next to the train station. Kitchen no longer looks like it does in the photos and microwave wasn’t working but we appreciated it still had the fridge and a washing machine.
- Áróra (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sona (2/5): Dirty, broken equipment, ghost house, nothing similar to pictures provided on the internet. - Good location I do not know where to start.... Maybe it would be better if booking.com stops offering this rat hole to preserve its reputation.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Taylah (9/5): great location and affordable -
- Kristýna (7/5): Good -
- Kamil (7/5): Accomodation is located in a very good place, near the Garibaldi station and many pizzerias. However the area along with -
- Tamzin (5/5): location central. Very noisy. bathroom smelt terrible. Owner/staff was great communicating and helping. - Comfy bed, modern room, big mirror, good closet space, good facilities in communal area. The staff were amazing at helping with what we needed Bathroom smelt awful. We think it was coming up from the drains and the shower curtain smelt terrible. it stunk out the whole room. couldn’t get rid of the smell. It is very noisy area. Tiles in the shower were falling off and sticking to our feet.
- Cemre (5/5): neither good nor bad - location is great we walked everywhere. the host was very kind the bed is very noisy. The bed needs to be changed . There was no hot water.
- 808verber (1/5): bad - The price is great. If you're with a friend and just need a cheap place to sleep, this is you're room. The venue is located at a very dodgy area. We didn't feel safe at all. The father of the host came to ‘check us in’, but didn't speak a word English. The room was not properly cleaned, there where piss staines on the toilet. It smells pretty bad in there. Me and my partner just leaved and booked another hotel. Room does not look like the pictures! Not recommended for couples.
- Perko (9/5): Superb - Good ambient, with balcony, wifi tv...
You can cook cofer and you have refrigirator and microwave.. 4th flor and no elevator, bathrom has a little specific smell and shower handlle was leaking
- Kate (5/5): Passable - Location was right by the train station. Price good value No toilet seat and no shower head holder.
Bathroom smelt funky.
- Alina (9/5): It was great and I definitely recommend! -
- Lela (8/5): Very good -
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hanna (6/5): could do something about outside noise - comfortable bed and spacious room on the top floor location wasn’t great as it was very noisy in that area and it was hard to sleep
- Andrean (4/5): Disappointing - Cheap The location was very near the min train station, but absolutely disgusting
- Balázs (8/5): Very good - Right next to Napoli Centrale, 20 mins on foot to the city center. The room is spacious, the bed was very comfortable. Would recommend to everyone.
- Mahnoor (8/5): The room was clean and is really close to the central station and market area near by. The entrance is not the fanciest - The room and bathroom were very spacious. good wifi, hot water and great location. close to the central station. it was on the fourth floor so the the stairs were a bit tiring. the entrance was not the best but inside the room was pretty good.
- Iga (8/5): Very good -
- Esen (9/5): Superb -
- Shrish (8/5): Good place if you want to stay near to the train station - Good rooms, although shared rooms within a apartment You'll have to climb 4 floors
- Zdenicka01 (10/5): The best accommodation - The owner is very helpful and very friendly. His sister is cleaning every day. Very lovely people. The location is excellent. There is fridge, microwave and kettle. You don't need anything else. If you are hot or cold they're is air-conditioning. TV with like 100000 programs, big bathroom and big bed very conformable.
- Terry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Terry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bianca (9/5): everything was very good -
- Uros (5/5): Passable -
- Carlotta (8/5): Good value for money - it was clean and near to the train station it was in neighborhood that isn’t something for everybody
- Vic (7/5): Good -
- Hjalmar (9/5): A room in a nice apartment for a reasonable price - The exterior of the house is a bit rough and the area around may seem a bit sketchy, but don’t let that fool you. The apartment is very tidy and clean, and it is located very close to Piazza Garibaldi, making it very easy for us to catch trains to Pompeii and Sorrento. The owner is extremely helpful and lives in the same building, so whenever we needed help with anything he was very quick to respond and come and help us with whatever was the problem. Even if that meant staying up late to meet us and hand over the keys or waking up early when we forgot our phone in the room when leaving. Good rooms for a reasonable price and great customer service! We stayed for 5 nights and had no major problems at all. It’s on the 4th floor of a building without an elevator. That might be a problem for some, but it wasn’t for us. Piazza Garibaldi is known to be an unsafe area, however we had no problems coming back to the apartment late at night or leaving early in the morning. Sometimes it smells from the toilet.
- Hasnae (6/5): Pleasant - Great location. big comfortable bed. good value for what we paid. great that we can use the fridge and washing machine. dark room, no one came to clean/provide towels in the 5-6 days we stayed. dark bathroom, one of the two lights was broken so hard to even do makeup etc as there is no natural light.
