• ming (10/5): I had to catch an early train, so the location was perfect. It was clean and well-equipped. - Although compact, my room had a sink, kettle, fridge, and a pkg of instant coffee and tea. It was very clean, and the staff helped me find an adapter for EU plugs. Pension Locarno was just across the street from the train station (where I was able to buy all sorts of breakfast items). Toilet and shower were shared but they were very clean.

• Omer (4/5): - Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your hotel. The staff member at the reception was very rude and uncooperative. In addition, there was only one public toilet, and the receptionist himself was cleaning it. While I was inside the toilet, he shouted and knocked on the door asking who had caused water to be on the floor. I repeatedly explained to him that it was not me, but the situation was handled in a very disrespectful manner. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Moreover, I paid 105 Euros for a single room, yet there were no proper services provided — not even complimentary water for guests. I strongly recommend improving the quality of staff service and treating guests with more respect. Also, housekeeping duties should be handled by a separate housekeeping team rather than the reception staff. For your reference, my room number was 411. Thank you.

• Florian (1/5): Nie wieder. - Die Lage direkt beim Hauptbahnhof. Das Zimmer roch extrem muffig (evtl. Schimmel?), auch mehrmaliges Lüften half nicht. Die Betten quietschten und waren durchgelegen. Die Fenster isolierten schlecht und es gab keine Rolläden/Jalousien, sodass es die ganze Nacht sehr laut (Verlehrslärm, Trams etc.) und hell war. Zudem funktionierte der Fernseher nicht. Als wir dies monierten, wurde uns an der Rezeption mitgeteilt, da könne man nichts machen. Richtig schlechter Service. Da scheint man sich allein auf die Lage des Hotels zu verlassen.

• Sonja (8/5): Simple, neat, affordable room. - Simple, clean room with kettle, directly on several bus/subway stops which was very convenient. It was great for our plans of touring the city in the day, and coming back to sleep at night. Trams are frequent and loud directly out of the 4th storey window -some windows face less busy streets. Elevator was very small (squishy with 2 people with backpacks)

• Michael (10/5): - Supernettes Personal. Die Pension ist sauber, gepflegt und für eine oder zwei Nächte mehr als ausreichend. Das beste ist das Preis -Leistung-Verhältnis. Wir kommen gern wieder. Zur Straßenseite st es schon recht laut aber es ist ja auch direkt am Hauptbahnhof.

• Dora Isabel (10/5): Ubicación excepcional - La ubicación es buenísima, el personal muy amigable y la habitación cómoda. Tiene ascensor. Aunque el sector luce inseguro, no tuvimos ninguna dificultad y tener la estación del tren a 1 minuto nos favoreció para ir a muchos sitios.
• Supinda (5/5): ทำเลดีเท่านั้น - ทำเลที่ตั้ง โรงแรมหายาก ป้ายไม่ชัดเจน ไม่มีห้องน้ำในห้องนอนจึงไม่สะดวก บนหมอนมีเส้นผมบุคคลอื่น 2 เส้น ไม่มีแอร์จึงต้องเปิดหน้าต่าง ดังนั้นมีแมลงหลายชนิดเข้ามาในห้องหลายตัว (แต่ตอนออกมาฉันก็จัดการห้องคืนเรียบร้อย) ฉันอึดอัดกับเจ้าหน้าที่ เหมือนไม่ได้มาพักผ่อน แต่เหมือนมาพักบ้านตอนมาเรียนภาษา โดยรวมไม่โอเคจนต้องยกเลิกการพักอีก 3 คืนที่เหลือแล้วหาที่พักแห่งใหม่ตั้งแต่คืนแรกที่นอนที่นี่

• michela (8/5): comodo per visitare il centro di monaco, consiglio la birreria Augustiner ( non quella in centro ) - buona la posizione, vicinissima a stazione centrale e al centro. Cortesi e disponibili. Unico neo il rumore dei tram. Tutto bello pulito anche il bagno in comune.
• Frank (4/5): Einmal und nicht wieder - Lage Mit der einfachen Ausstattung kann ich leben, war eine der wenigen bezahlbaren Unterkünfte am Championsleague-Halbfinal Spieltag. Leider war Zimmer 308 eine Lärm-Hölle. Bis nach Mitternacht Straßenbahnen im Minutentakt, das fühlte sich an als würde die Bahn durch das Zimmer fahren. Angegeben war Schallisolierung, ich vermute man hat vergessen die auch einzubauen.

• Trejo Díaz (7/5): Bien localizado, pero bastante incómodo - El staff es muy amable y está en un lugar muy bueno de la ciudad, ideal para moverse fácilmente. El cuarto me pareció bastante cómodo. El baño para tomar una regadera era minúsculo. No hay lugar para poner tu ropa. El baño, al ser compartido igual es problemático ya que dependes de qué tan limpios sean con los que compartes.

• Patrick (6/5): Sauber mit minimalem Komfort, netter Empfang, vor allem ideal situiert!! - Die Lage ist optimal, wenn man entweder München erkunden will, oder (und) früh verreisen will/muss : zehn Meter von der nächsten S- und U-Bahn-Station. Die Strasse ist der Lange entsprechend laut, aber wir wussten es vorher. Geteilte Toiletten und Bad.

• Domini (10/5): Will stay again — great for local exploring and day trips - This hotel is literally steps away from Munich’s central train station, which made it an amazing place to stay for easy access to airport and train connections, as well as day trips (Salzburg, Neuschwanstein, etc etc). The hotel has good security, and the train station area is a little busy but I felt super safe. Also, you are only a 10 minute walk to museum quarter, or 10 minutes the other direction to the historic center. Very easy to explore! My room had a shared WC and shower — there were two of each on my floor, so I always had access to facilities when needed. In room: nice sink, mirror with good lighting, desk, clothes hanging spot, TV with lots of local channels, refrigerator!!, and also a kettle with tea and coffee, cups. Overall, a nice, simple, clean room with everything you need. Staff kept rooms and common spaces super clean, and front desk staff was super friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I will absolutely stay here again next time I visit Munich. Thank you!

Quite noisy at times, between noise from the street, people using the bathroom and people make noise in their rooms, you can also hear trains passing by. Check-out process was also confusing

• khrivnacova (9/5): Great place for a night - Brilliant location, lovely staff, comfy beds, things were clean and exactly as advertised. Sounds echo a lot and people apparently don't know how to close doors without slamming them. Some soft stops for doors would do wonders.

• therichastill (10/5): Lovely Welcome at a Great Location - Part of the reason for choosing Pension Locarno was for the location. It is right next to the Hauptbahnhof. I arrived by train and left by train so it was perfect from that point of view. I arrived in Munich at 12:30 and headed for the hotel. I wanted to drop off my bag. When I arrived I pressed the buzzer and was let in. There is a few flights of stairs as well as a lift to take you to the third and fourth floors where the hotel is located. I spoke to a very friendly gentleman when I arrived and he said that my room was ready so I could put my things in there straight away which was wonderful. My room was on the fourth floor and I had a shared bathroom. My room was clean and well presented and had everything I needed and expected. I got my things sorted out and went out into Munich to explore the city. After all my exploration I got back at about 9:30pm and went to my room. I would suggest shutting the window to drown out the sound of the trams passing. I slept really well and woke at a reasonable hour. Once I had got ready for the day I checked out and dropped off my bag with the lady at reception so I could continue to take in Munich before my departure from the city. I returned a few hours later and my bag was where I had left it and the lady happily returned it to me. The people at the hotel were so friendly and I would definitely recommend staying there for a convenient visit if you want something reasonably priced and clean.

• therichastill (9/5): Superb stay - Excellent location for the Hauptbahnhof, not too far from Karlsplatz and Marienplatz. Good links for the SBahn, UBahn and trams. Staff were Excellent. I got to drop my bag off early. Really minor but no flat transfer to get in, to get to rooms. Would be a challenge for anyone who cannot use stairs.

• Anthea (9/5): Clean, comfortable and within easy walking distance of both the city centre and the train station - We have stayed in this pension before and were delighted to return. The staff are welcoming, and the room clean, comfortable and spacious. We had the use of a small fridge and kettle in the room which enhanced our stay, and the beds were very comfortable. Not having an en suite was a little inconvenient, but having stayed here before we knew to expect this, and the positive aspects of the hotel more than made up for the tiny inconvenience.

Zur Überbrückung oder günstigen Unterbringung hervorragend! Naja man muss sich halt auf das Gemeinschaftsbad einstellen, aber das weiß man ja vorher. Sonst top!
