• Biju (10/5): William is the perfect host, leaving us alone but around if you need anything. Nothing is too much trouble for him. It - Large spacious house in the suburbs of residential Richmond, hosted by William and Jessica. Good room with en suite shower. Shower gel, shampoo conditioner and all necessary items provided. The room is meticulously and thoughtfully supplied with all that a person would need. Great cooked breakfast every day made by William in Japanese Taiwanese style from 8.30 am. In addition, toast, coffee, cereals and fully packed fridge and coffee tea options available all through the day and night. There are fruits, snacks, pot noodles and cookies throughout the day. Easy 10 min from airport and it served our purpose perfectly. For those wishing to spend more time in downtown Vancouver this may be a bit far but can still reach most places in 30 minutes by uber or an hour by bus and skytrain. There are laundry and ironing facilities on request. Nothing to dislike.

Ausführliche Erklärung der Einrichtung und der Codeschlösser. William war ein super netter Gastgeber. Jeden Tag in der Früh wurde von Jessica taiwanesisch gekocht und von William ausführlich erklärt und serviert. Noch nie so ein tolles individuelles Frühstück gehabt. Den ganzen Tag über durfte man sich Süßigkeiten, Softdrinks, Kaffee, Tee Wasser, Instantnudeln und aus dem Kühlschrank Eis und andere Leckereien nehmen. Das Zimmer war groß, das Badezimmer ebenso mit Sprudelwanne. Alles war vorhanden. Sehr schnelles WLAN. Massagesessel im Gemeinschaftszimmer. William hat uns zum Abschluss auch ein Taxi zum Flughafen organisiert. Weit weg von Vancouver Downtown, aber es fährt ein Bus in der Parallelstraße.

• Ka Lai (10/5): Highly recommended for travellers visiting Richmond - you shouldn't miss this! - This is the best B&B I have ever stayed in. The house and our room are huge and clean. The house owner, William, is a very nice and helpful gentleman. He and his wife prepare breakfast for their guests on every morning. The menu is never repeated and the food is sooooo delicious. Every morning, we eat in the dining room with other guests just like family members. What a wonderful experience! You find all kinds of snacks, drinks, tea and coffee in the living room, you are welcome to consume them at any time you want. Even in our room is supplied with various type of tea and soft drinks. What a thoughful idea to the guests! The bathroom is equipped with 2 individual basins and a jacuzzi. What a luxurious facilities! There is a wall showing all the awards received by this property. I think William has done so well that deserves all this compliments. Nothing.

• Youngsoo (10/5): 주택가에 위치한 정말 편안한 숙소 - 우리는 크리스마스를 이곳에서 보냈습니다. 캐나다 현지 분위기를 느끼고 싶어서 일부러 B&B를 선택했는데, 결과적으로 최고였습니다. 숙소는 집처럼 편안했고, 침구와 티비 모든 게 완벽했습니다. 무엇보다 윌리엄이 만들어준 조식은 정말 최고였습니다. 솔직히 한국에서도 유명 음식점에서 대만 전통 음식을 먹어봤는데 그것보다 맛있었어요. 윌리엄과 그의 부인께 정말 감사하다는 말을 전하고 싶습니다. 위치가 조금 아쉬웠습니다. 우리는 차를 놓고 대중교통을 이용했는데, 번화가로 나가려면 약간의 시간이 걸립니다. 대신, 주택가라 아주 조용하고, 인근에 산책하기 좋은 멋진 비치가 있습니다.

• Saskia (10/5): Ein kleines Erlebnis direkt zum Frühstück. - Die Lage war etwas außerhalb, 5 Minuten bis zur nächsten Bushaltestelle und ca. 30 Minuten zu Fuß zur Fishermans Warf, diese Strecke konnte man auch wunderbar am Wasser entlang gehen. Das Haus Jessica befindet sich in einem reinen Wohngebiet. Wir waren dort am Anfang unserer Reise für 2 Nächte und nochmals am Ende. Wir wurden von William super freundlich empfangen, jedoch auch instruiert, welche Regeln im Haus herrschen. :-) Er hat uns alles gezeigt. Wir durften uns an den kompletten, im Wohn-Essbereich stehenden Getränken und Essen bedienen. Den Kühlschrank zu jeder Zeit benutzen. Suppen, Chips, Obst, Müsli, Toast, Plätzchen …. Das Frühstück ist eigentlich nicht mit zwei Sätzen abgetan. Einfach unglaublich, welche Mühe und wieviel Liebe und Kunst da hinein gesteckt werden. Jessica bereitet in stillen Stunden alles vor und William serviert dann morgens ein einmaliges, asiatisches Frühstück. William ist super hilfsbereit. Einen fehlenden Adapter durften wir für unsere gesamte Kanadareise mitnehmen, Bärenspray wurde uns leihweise übergeben… Das Haus Jessica wird uns lange in guter Erinnerung bleiben und wenn es sich ergibt, kommen wir bestimmt wieder. Gibt nichts zu meckern.
• cuiqi (10/5): 好极了 - 这是我这么多年去过30多个国家住过最好最好的民宿。预订前看到竟然高达9.9分，心里抱着无论如何都要试试看的心态，住进来才觉得其实打10分都不足以表达我的满意程度。William是个非常热情有礼貌的人，Jessica是个厨艺大师，早餐做得极其美味。家里布置得相当温馨，也很干净，到处放满了丰富的食物。房间里还配有冰箱和饮料，洗涤用品一应俱全。房间里的机顶盒非常好用，让我可以看到很多在中国看不到的优质电影。这次一个人住了6个晚上，每一天都像回到自己家里一样，太棒的体验了！
• S (9/5): Great bed & breakfast experience all around! - I was very pleased with my stay and found the pictures and reviews to be accurate. The host made me feel welcome to the spacious house and prepared a lovely breakfast each morning! Breakfast time was a great culinary experience and also provided a perfect opportunity to connect with the other guests in the house. My room was very large and VERY quiet :) Even though the location is a bit far from Vancouver and in a mostly residential area, there is public transportation right around the corner -- very convenient and safe.

• Lilis (10/5): "Wonderful stay!" - The host was exceptionally friendly, and the home itself was beautifully maintained, clean, and very spacious. Our room was cozy, with a comfortable bed and pillows and a clean, attached bathroom. A major bonus was the massage chair, which my elderly mom enjoyed so much after a long day of sightseeing and shopping, + the laundry facilities were very easy to use. The breakfast was a surprisingly wonderful highlight, featuring a fantastic variety of delicious dim sum. We also appreciated the convenience of free, on-site parking it feels like home, I want to stay longer :(

• Su-Nghi Scholz (10/5): - Einfach nur top! Diese Unterkunft war von Anfang bis Ende perfekt. Ich würde ohne zu zögern 100 von 10 Punkten vergeben. Die Lage und die Umgebung sind traumhaft, und der Gastgeber William hat uns persönlich empfangen und durch das Haus geführt; super herzlich und aufmerksam. In den Gemeinschaftsräumen gab es wirklich alles, was das Herz begehrt: eine Kaffee- und Teestation, eine Frühstücksecke, Snacks – alles rund um die Uhr verfügbar. Die gesamte Unterkunft war makellos sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. So ein schönes B&B habe ich selten erlebt. Leider mussten wir sehr früh zum Flughafen, sodass wir das in anderen Bewertungen gelobte asiatische Frühstück nicht probieren konnten. Aber William ist extra früher aufgestanden, um uns zumindest eine Kleinigkeit zuzubereiten. Einfach nur top, besser geht’s nicht. Würde jederzeit wiederkommen. Absolute Empfehlung! Alles war perfekt!

Ruhige Lage. Komfortable Betten und Zimmer. Hier wird an alles gedacht. Sehr geschätzt haben wir die Möglichkeit unser Gepäck zu wiegen, da wir auf einem Flug sehr limitiert waren. -
• Hilary (10/5): Exceptional B & B, with a great host, lovely accommodation & excellent location. - From the moment you ring the doorbell, you are made to feel very welcome. The room was very comfortable & well equipped. An excellent range of snacks is provided. The property is in an excellent neighbourhood, and is very convenient for the airport. Nothing - everything was perfect.

Können wir nur weiterempfehlen !! - Der Gastgeber William war von Anfang an ausgesprochen freundlich, er hatte offensichtlich sehr große Freude daran, seinen Gästen den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Sämtliches vorbereitetes Obst, Knabberzeug sowie verschiedene Getränke im Kühlschrank waren jederzeit zur Selbstbedienung ... und das alles im Zimmerpreis enthalten. Das Frühstück war sehr schmackhaft, auch wenn es für einen Europäer als Frühstück etwas andersartig war, als gewohnt ... taiwanesisch ... aber man kann ja alles mal probieren ... und es war lecker ! Während des Frühstücks war es ihm eine Freude, den Gästen die jeweiligen Essensgänge und deren Zusammenstellung (wie in Taiwan üblich) zu erklären. Zusammen mit seiner Frau Jessica (die das Essen zubereitete) bildeten sie ein perfektes Team und es war für uns eine kleine Show, die wir nicht so schnell vergessen werden. Es gab für uns nichts zu beanstanden !

• Anne (8/5): Great place if you're Asian - Host was very nice. On-site laundry Pillows were too hard. TV was difficult to operate. Had to take shoes off inside the house. No elevator for bags. Caters very much to Asian population. Breakfast was Tawainese food. Would have preferred American options.
• Tracy (10/5): Great breakfast - Breakfast was excellent. A real treat and experience. Location is excellent for the airport. Good bus service to local cafes etc. would definitely recommend if you are using the airport. It was a little far from cafes and restaurants to walk when tired from jet lag, otherwise its fine. It’s about a 30 minute walk away.
• Aicheline (10/5): - William heeft ons verwend met het lekkere warme ontbijt. Ook mocht je van alles eten de hele dag door, je kan geen honger hebben. Communicatie ging vooraf en gedurende het verblijf heel goed. Het huis is netjes verzorgd en schoon. We zouden graag hier nog een keer kunnen verblijven. De locatie is ook goed bereikbaar met de auto of openbaar vervoer is dichtbij. We hebben ook lekker gelopen langs het water van Richmond. En Fishermans wharf is heel gezellig. Alleen jammer dat we Jessica niet hebben ontmoet, maar William heeft alles goed gemaakt. Kan niets bedenken.

• Gill (10/5): Wonderful, welcoming, comfortable accommodation. William is the best. - Everything!! From the wonderful welcome from William, beautiful room and abundance of snacks and drinks available all day. To being able to check in early and leave our luggage until the room was ready then to use the lounge and have drinks and snacks until leaving. William really has thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. This was our second time staying here(firstly before joining our cruise) and wouldn’t stay anywhere else when next in the Vancouver area before visiting our family on the island. Uber taxis really reasonable to the airport and cruise terminal. Thank you William. Just personal choice for my husband - he likes a straightforward breakfast and didn’t want the Asian feast William cooks for everyone.

He walked us through his beautiful home, pausing at each area to explain what was being offered, from a massage chair to snack section, to separate coffee and tea zones, a beautiful dinning area and finally his kitchen. The bed was a very comfortable bed, an immaculate bathroom, a walk-in closet, and so many thoughtfully placed items (for example, a new rasor in the bathroom). And the breakfast was outstanding 👌! Dim-sum... it was amazing! The location is great, close to the Steveston wharf, and a simple drive to YVR. Nothing.

• Danielle (10/5): Great stay! - William was such a great host! He met and guided us through the property, making sure we knew how to get in an out of the house and our room. We also loved that there were plenty of provisions. We were sad that we had to leave so early and miss the breakfast we’ve seen so many reviews rave about.
• Pattison (10/5): Simply the best, better than all the rest..... - We have stayed over the years at a number of hotels and B and B's, but this by far is the best we have ever experienced! William is the most welcoming host my wife and I have ever met, you are not staying at a bed and breakfast or a hotel, you are welcomed not as a guest but as a friend into a wonderful home, nothing is too much trouble, you are given a fully guided tour of the facilities on offer not just in your room but in the guest lounge downstairs, that is filled with treats, soft drinks and more than you could ever wish for. Our room was pure luxury, again with soft drinks in the fridge to help ourselves too and a television system I could only dream of having, the bathroom was beyond our expectations with a walk in shower and spa bath, and a bed that was so comfortable to collapse into at the end of the day. Breakfast was the highlight, you are met by William and invited into the kitchen to feast upon traditional Taiwanese food cooked to absolute perfection by his wonderful wife, it is an opportunity to immerse yourself into a culinary feast, don't say no until you have tried it for yourselves. We stayed three nights and loved every minute, we left with a heavy heart but a big thank you from William and an even bigger hug from him as we said goodbye, in William's words he want's to send people away happy, you certainly achieved that with us, we can't wait to return, its worth a minimum 11 out of 10. From Maggie and Steve thank you for an amazing end to our Canadian trip!! There is nothing not to like, it's all perfect.

So ein supertolles B&B haben wir noch nie gehabt, und wenn Gäste für manche Unterkunft, die ihre Erwartungen erfüllt hat, 9 oder 10 Punkte vergeben, dann hat das Jessicahouse mindestens 15 verdient. Neben dem umfangreichen Frühstücksangebot, das uns 24 Stunden zur Verfügung stand, versorgten uns Jessica und William morgens mit einem kalt-warmen Lunch, das eines 5-Sterne Hotels würdig gewesen wäre. Wenn jemand nach Vancouver reist, ist das Jessicahouse die Top-Unterkunft, die wir allen nur ganz warm empfehlen können. Absolut gar nichts!!

• Yun-Jing (10/5): 💯👍 - It truly felt like home staying here. The host, William, is exceptionally warm, friendly, and thoughtful. If you’re a foodie, you’ll love this BnB—the Taiwanese breakfast is delicious, and there’s even a snack bar with a wide variety of treats. On top of that, the location is excellent, just a short walk to the bus station and the seaside.
• ROZENN (10/5): - Une expérience extraordinaire, un accueil très chaleureux, William est un personnage incroyable, il sert un petit déjeuner Taïwanais délicieux Un vrai spectacle le magret flambé sous nos yeux, quel beau moment. Très proche de l'aéroport, le quartier est proche d'un sentier qui va jusqu'à un joli village de pêcheurs historique et toujours actif. Une très belle adresse.
