• Kálmán (5/5): - A parkolás csak az utcán volt lehetséges. A lépcsőházban le kellett venni a cipőt.(Nonszensz) A radiátorban csorgott a víz. Kicsekkoláskor be volt zárva minden, pedig már reggel 8 óra volt. Csalódás.

• Tiziana (9/5): A due passi dal centro - L'alloggio è davvero molto vicino al centro. L'host è sempre molto disponibile a chiacchierare e dare informazioni utili per le visite e non solo. Massima disponibilità negli orari. La nostra camera aveva una bellissima vista su Sarajevo ed era pulita. Spazio esterno (cortile/terrazza) molto apprezzato, piacevole per riposare nella quiete o mangiare/cucinare all'aria aperta o incontrando gli altri ospiti. Il parcheggio interno è il cortile della casa, che oltre le 5 macchine richiede che le ulteriori vengano messe in fila sul corsello d'uscita. Questo potrebbe richiedere necessità di organizzare gli orari di movimentazione auto. L'host d'altro canto è sempre stato disponibile per gestire autonomamente la cosa.

• Beatrice (9/5): - Il proprietario ci ha accolto in una maniera super ospitale, regalandoci una mappa di Sarajevo per spiegarci e suggerirci le principali cose da vedere. Ci ha fatto accomodare nella stanza più grande, era molto pulita e accogliente. Struttura a 15 minuti a piedi dalla fontana e dalla Bascarsija; la strada era tutta in salita per tornare, ma pazienza per qualche giorno si sopravvive!

• Radek (8/5): Recommended for low budget, but see description - The location is central, though prepare to walk uphill. Parking is available inside, but the cars are parked one after another in an inside "hill". If one wants to leave from the back, all the others need to go out. The parking entrance is also extremely narrow, with our Opel astra we had only a couple centimetres on each side left - so some skills are required. Wider cars won't fit. In general, we put rating 8 due to the low price and low expectations. If you have high expectations, this place might not be for you. The room was super tiny, we struggled even to open our suitcase inside. It is not obvious from the pictures. The bathroom, which should be private for the room(though outside of the room-external), could be actually used by other guests too - though it was not during our stay. The host advised that the amount of the warm water is limited as the other room uses the same boiler, but we had no issues during our stay.

• Marina (10/5): Best place to stay in Sarajevo! - Best place to stay in Sarajevo! The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was super kind and you can reach the city center in 10 minutes on foot. Top!
• Dominyka (10/5): Lovely stay - Friendly and informative hosts, they were great at communicating and were very flexible with us checking in a bit earlier. The place was clean and in a great location walking distance from the old town. However, keep in mind that the walk from town to the accommodation is quite a steep hill. We had a lovely stay and had zero complaints, would recommend. :)
• Danny (2/5): Disappointing, though it could easily have been the opposite. - Well.. the staff knows english very well and looks friendly at first. At least when you talk with him at the moment. He helped us park the car inside, so it was stalled protected. And it is nice to talk with the owner (staff) about things like the cities history and the current political situation. The room itself is passable, which fits the price we would originally pay for the room. However, later I understood from my partner the situation the owner put us in. We arrived a bit after the requested check-in time, we told by message we could be later because of traffic. There was no respond to this, so we assumed it was fine. Once we arrived a bit after midnight the staff was still present and the room was still there. Yet, they told us the room was gone. Basically saying we can't get the room unless we pay double fee. Under the risk of sleeping in freezing temperatures outside in the car. My partner paid this, to prevent sleeping outside. But for me this was an unfair move, in which the owner took advantage of the minor delay we had to earn double for the room. The same room basically got sold twice to us.. In other words, we feel the owner abused the situation. Which, together with the other experiences in this city, make us never come here again. Bottomline; if you are 100% sure you can be there on time within the check-in time, perhaps this is a good budget-friendly place to you. If you aren't sure, I advice to choose another place. You can expect this location rejects you if you arrive after the check-in time, or charges you for it.
• Jarmila (8/5): Very good - The host was very informative, and helpful. The room was very clean, the free parking was great. The location is a little further and on a hill, but it is walking distance from the center. There was no AC in the room and the shower system was a bit unusual, worked well though.

• Dagmar (10/5): Homey stay in central Sarajevo, ideal for larger groups - Centrally located, with a pleasant and knowledgeable owners, who never hesitate to answer questions and fill you in on the history, culture, and politics of the country or provide tips and recommendations. wi-fi works in the central areas but not in more remote rooms
• Rodion (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel is located in an awesome part of Sarajevo, which is very historic, dating back to the Ottomans, but quiet and not overcrowded. The Austrian-style tourist city centre with all the shops and museums is within a short walk downhill. The hotel boasts a splendid common room (photo attached) with a kitchen where the guests can prepare meals. There are several parking lots for the guests within the hotel’s gates, though we didn’t use one as we weren’t travelling by car. The owners are very nice, it was a pleasure to learn from them about the culture and history of Bosnia and Yugoslavia in general. Definitely recommend.

The check-in process was seamless and well-organized, setting a positive tone from the start. The host's attention to detail and communication skills made settling in a breeze. The location was a highlight, conveniently close to major attractions. This proximity allowed me to maximize my time and enjoy the city's highlights without wasting any moment. The accommodations were comfortable and inviting, reflecting the host's commitment to creating a pleasant environment for guests. Overall, my stay was made memorable by the informative host, easy check-in, and prime location. I highly recommend this place for a delightful and convenient travel experience. Looking forward to returning soon! Be sure to double-check your route when heading to the Tower House, as it might be a bit challenging to find if using GPS navigation.

• Janna (5/5): Good value for money, great location, horrible parking situation. - The place is clean. It is close to the center. The parking situation is not ideal: first of all there is a height barrier of approximately 2.2m which is not indicated (and also doesn‘t seem that way looking at the pictures). Secondly all guests park single file, so there is a lot of re-parking to be done whenever someone has to leave. We ended up not being able to park here even though we picked it specifically for on-site parking; we had to street park (at a place which the owner deemed safe) and had our van broken into.

• David (7/5): Good - Everything was great except the wi-fi. The hosts are generous and great conversation. The wi-fi was really only reliable at the outdoor table outside reception - good luck braving it in winter. Completely non-existent in my room. I was travelling for work (research) so I needed the wi-fi. This was not the first time I had stayed here and returned because I liked it and I like the hosts. In 2019, the wi-fi was turned off every night. Before paying my deposit, I asked if this was still the case, as 24hr wi-fi was a deal-breaker for me. The host said it wasn't - and then lead me to my room where the wi-fi was unable to permeate the walls. I checked out the next day, despite having a six day booking. The host kindly allowed me to just pay for the first night. So, in this case the Bookings.com wi-fi listing is misleading. Yes, technically, there is wi-fi. Is it versatile? No. As the host remarked, it doesn't give them option of indicating 'a bit of wi-fi'.

• Nemanja (6/5): One night at tower house - location is good, there are free parking spots, they waited for us to arrive after check in hours. everything is super clean hosts are weird, you have to take off shoes before entering. one of the hosts was telling us they didn't have to wait for us and that we should be very grateful that they let us stay there.
