• Christian (8/5): Wir kamen für 1 Übernachtung. Nichts außergewöhnliches aber super angenehm und freundlich. - Toller Gastgeber, wir bekamen obwohl das Restaurant geschlossen war ein prima Abendessen. Preis Leistung völlig ausreichend für eine Nacht. Einfaches, ausreichend gutes Frühstück.
• Angelika (4/5): Wir würden diese Unterkunft nicht mehr wählen - Wir wurden freundlich empfange. Die Unterkunft äußerlich machte einen guten Eindruck. Die Betten waren gut, denn man konnte wirklich gut schlafen können. Parkplätze waren vorhanden. Die Ausstattung ist schon in die Jahre gekommen. Leider hatten wir nur eine Wanne im Bad mit einem verschmutzten Abfluss. Das WC ohne Deckel zu verschließen. Das Bad war schön groß, doch leider ohne Ablagemöglichkeiten. Das Frühstück war ausreichend, doch ohne Abwechslung.

• InspTrachta (2/5): Takto si přístup k hostovi opravdu nepředstavuji - V penzionu byl celý zbytek party a pokoje a snídaně hodnotili jako přijatelné. To bych nazývala tím kladem. Druhý den jsem za přáteli přišla toho půl kilometru z náhradního ubytování na pokec. Jídelna byla plná štiplavého kouře z přesmaženého oleje a to tak strašně, že jsme v tom desetistupňovém chladnu otevřeli okna dokořán a několik žen ze skupiny šlo do kuchyně požádat, aby se tam aspoň při tom smažení zavřeli. Hotovky prý byly velmi dobré, minutky byly vypečené do mrtva. Co se týká nápojů, někdy po 20 hodině si nás pán zcela přestal všímat, aniž by cokoliv řekl (třeba "poslední objednávka" nebo že už neobsluhuje) a aniž by zavřel, byl v restauraci u stolečku s notebookem sám. Z mého pohledu nepochopitelné - měl tam 10 žíznivých lidí. "Měl hospodu, ale chodili mu tam lidi... " Mě a příteli se nemohlo líbit nic, jelikož provozovatel přebukoval náš pokoj a tudíž nás neubytoval. Přijeli jsme před 20 hodinou v pátek a teprve s kufry před dveřmi penzionu jsme se od majitele dozvěděli, že pro nás nemá místo, že udělal chybu (ani se neomluvil). Od zbytku naší skupiny přátel věděl s minimálně 4 hodinovým předstihem, že přijedeme později a že patříme do skupiny. Zajistil nám místo v půl kilometru vzdáleném spřáteleném penzionu a slíbil nám, že budeme mít lepší pokoj než u něj. Což pravda nebyla, zbyl na nás už jen pokoj ve sníženém přízemí se sklepním okýnkem, oddělenými postelemi a se společným WC a koupelnou na chodbě. V Tradici jsme měli předem zaplacený pokoj s wc a koupelnou a manželskými postelemi. Ubytovateli zazlívám, že nás nekontaktoval předem, když toto zjistil a že nás postavil před hotovou věc a navíc nám ani neřekl pravdu.

• Cauly (8/5): - Bohužel jsme zrovna natrefili na dost chladné a deštivé počasí. Pan domácí ochotně zatopil, takže jsme mohli sušit věci a večery trávit v teple. Snídaně talířková, v rozumné míře. Nefungovala televize, ale to není úplně zásadní. Takže jinak spokojenost.

(9/5): A Price/Quality winner in the Karlovy Vary region - Pension Tradice (U Bendů) is situated high in the Ore Mountains (22 minutes drive to Karlovy Vary) at a well-kept road that leads over the Czech-German border into Germany. We got Room 1 which was quite big with two spring beds, two windows (with a view in the garden and on alpine grassland), a flatscreen TV (with Czech channels), a refridgerator, a small table, a chair and a wardrobe. The Wifi connection is sufficient and there are enough electric mains connections. The bathroom is also quite big with modern tiles, big towels and an excellent shower. The spring beds are perhaps a bit on the hard side (and with 2 meters a bit on the short side) and there are supersize cushions. But we slept well. The pension owner is aimable (- so is his dog -) and there is a restaurant with traditional Czech cuisine with drafted Plzener Urquell beer. We liked the breakfast very much. One can choose between three plates: scrambled eggs, hot dogs and ham-cheese. The coffee is served in a big pot, there are yoghurts, there is jam and the bread is fresh & tasty. We choose to stay three nights, because we wanted to do one day trip to the spa resort of Karlsbad (Karlovy Vary) and another daytrip to the town Ostrov + the spa resort Franzenbad (Frantiskovy Lazne). Both places are easy to reach from the pension. (Tip: in the Karlsbad street Moskevska one can park the car for free and from there one can make amazing walks into the spa areal) For people who arrive from Germany or travel into Germany the pension is very well situated. The pension is well frequented by German 'Stammgasts' (the pension owner speaks German). The bathroom doesn't have its own heating. All in all this pension may be highly recommended, also for its price/quality ratio.
