- Jen (8/5): A relaxing and memorable Adelaide Hills getaway with excellent hospitality, beautiful surroundings. - A peaceful Adelaide Hill setting. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was generous. We especially enjoyed the tranquil surroundings, lovely view and convenient location close to the local village. Very little to fault.
- Federica (10/5): -
- Lindsay (10/5): Highly recommended. - Welcoming hosts. Beautifully clean and spoilt with a host of extras in the kitchen and bathroom. The garden alone is well the accomodation cost. All good

- Kiri (10/5): Beutiful lication hosted by beautiful people - Bloody gorgeous garden; my toddler loved exploring and looking for all the different animal garden ornaments!
- PeterWoden (10/5): Lovely hosts and lovely home away from home - The loveliest hosts! From the warm welcome to the goodbye. The kitchen and bathroom were generously stocked. That made our stay very comfortable and convenient. We could settle in right away without having to buy basic supplies. The room was very thoughtfully arranged and decorated, looking out into a beautiful garden, which is a gem worth exploring. Lots of birds around. Very enjoyable.
The location is also very convenient, about 10 minutes walk to the main street of the town. And the street is pretty too.
- Nikki (10/5): It was just perfect! - Barbara was very friendly and welcoming, there were chocolates on our pillows, biscuits on the table and the fridge was stocked with more than we could eat. The garden is stunning! Nothing
- Alex (10/5): Couldn’t recommend it more - Barbara and Reo were amazing hosts.
Everything you could need was provided. The bed was super comfortable and the gardens were absolutely inspirational.

- Hillyaj (7/5): Quaint and comfy, very friendly hosts. - The accommodation was comfy, the AC a bit noisy. Apart from that, we enjoyed the stay.
We were asked what we wanted for breakfast and this was provided, we appreciated this.
The hosts were excellent. Noisy aircon, it was winter time and we needed the heating. When put on quiet, the fan made a constant noise. That is about it, this would not stop me from going back.
- noelene (8/5): Great stay and would recommend the property to our friends - The location was excellent and the property beautiful. Barbara was most welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was more than adequate There could be some improvement on the heating. It was very cold whilst we were there which made it appear that the heating could do with an upgrade.
- Terry (9/5): Great - Friendly Hosts
- Patricia (10/5): - The unit was lovely with views of the beautiful garden. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with breakfast foods. The bathroom was also well stocked, and the water pressure in the shower was great. The area was quiet and a short walk from town, and the hosts were very knowledgeable about aspects of the region. It was the perfect stay. There was not any part of the accommodation that I did not like
- Dave (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kerryn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharon (8/5): Comfortable and cosy in an excellent location - Barbara was delightful and went out of her way to provide breakfast options that suited us. The location was excellent, we could drive into the main town in just two minutes. There was also a walking option which we weren't able to experience due to the weather, but it looked like a very pleasant garden walk. Stirling is a convenient location from Adelaide and also convenient for most Adelaide Hills destinations. We were very comfortable and cosy. Having said that, there were a few things that were a little dated. The hot plates were a bit of a challenge to figure out and the shower head was quite small. Nothing that would stop me from booking there again though.
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional - We cannot fault our weekend stay from being asked what milk & bread we liked to the offer of leaving the car parked there so we could enjoy the Stirling Market's. ( always difficult to find parking close to market's) Very thoughtful. Location was a quick walk to main street. The garden was so tranquil with artwork dotted @ every twist & turn. Watching the bird's feed and greenery of the ferns change with the sunlight was mesmerising.
- Sharon (8/5): Very good -
- Patricia (9/5): Superb - The presentation, the gardens and the little touches that made it comfortable. Could not fault anything
- Ian (7/5): Good - Babera was lovely and the place was clean. However it is very dated and a bit tired. Effectively one room with plyboard semi partition. Yet it was only 160 a night.
- Nicholl (9/5): Superb - Great host. Good location.
- Mills (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly staff, very nice food and lovely garden. Short walk to town.
- Karen (9/5): Superb -

- Kevin (10/5): A Little Gem - Barbara the host was lovely. She had eggs bacon milk bread fruit cereal jams provided for breakfast. And a proper bean-to-cup coffee machine to boot. Fabulous.
The studio was comfortable and clean, bed and pillows super comfortable, though the bathroom was a little cramped.
A bonus was a remarkable garden to explore.
Shops, supermarkets and the highway were all nearby so the location couldn't be better. Nothing at all.
- Jenkins (8/5): Close to town with clean room. - It was small and close to main town for food. The flashing laser lights and the sprinklers going off at 4am
- Mrs (10/5): A perfect getaway for us and exactly the rest and relaxation we were looking for. - Barbara greeted us on arrival and showed us to the guest house. She has the place set up very nicely with those added little touches that set this apart from most. Her gardens are extensive and are a real pleasure to walk through. It really is the place to be that's close enough to the city but far enough at the same time. Perfect for a couples getaway or a singles trip for some quiet, relaxed nature filled holiday.
- Ann (9/5): Superb - The location was very good; very handy to the Stirling CBD and surrounding places of interest. N/A
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional - Barbara was wonderful.
Kind and attentive but I also felt I had space to be on my own and unwind which was sorely needed.
The extras were a great bonus - great coffee machine with coffee beans, lovely bread and milk and cereal.
The place was gorgeous with big Windows and great views and yet cozy and contained.

Kitchen was with bacon, fresh fruits , bread, milk, tea and coffee. Garden was a surprise… best garden in the world I would say! Thank you very much for taking care and hosting us , best regards from me and my mum! ❤️🌈 —

- Rachel (10/5): Quiet cosy garden Oasis - We loved everything about this super clean cosy room with amazing garden views. Lots of personal touches and food provisions were very much appreciated. Nothing to dislike
- Rose (10/5): Wonderful highly recommended - Quiet nature secluded just what my sister and myself needed after recent surgery…we were warmly greeted by our hosts who even offered to help us unpack car and help us into our accommodation… will definitely be our escape in the future for a place of rest and refresh ….. thanks Rose … Loved it all however for myself being a little fragile after surgery I was thinking a hand rail at back door could be a security aid ….just a very small footnote ……
- Sebastian (10/5): Quality and beynd expectations - Excellent location, for me, top notch extras, way beyond what was expected. I even had a message asking me what bread and milk I would like; the coffee machine was another excellent addition, not expected. Will booke here again when I'm in Adelaide next Room was a little cold as the heater I felt in sufficient in winter.
- Suzanna (9/5): A gem of a b&b only a short distance from Adelaide yet you feel like you’re far away in another country . The hosts - The beautiful garden views . 2 single tub chairs only , No sofa to snuggle on . A throw rug would be a nice touch . Heating took a while to warm up the entire room .
- Laurel (8/5): Very enjoyable - Tranquil setting Stay was too short
- Clarke (10/5): This is an incredible little gem in the heart of Stirling. Great walking distance to Stirling, immersed in nature, clean - Excellent location and beautifully surrounded by garden and nature
- Nadine (10/5): A piece of paradise amongst the city - Everything was fantastic
Plenty of breakfast cereals, eggs, bacon, bread, tea coffee condiments
Absolutely loved the huge garden and bird life that came into the yard
Perfect area to chill out didnt hear any traffic Street cleaner that came early in the morning which unfortunately can not be helped at all
- Hugh (10/5): Superb accommodation; friendly hosts; serene location. - This studio and garden are an oasis in the Hills, especially during a heatwave. Barbara and Reo are unobtrusively attentive hosts. The property was spotlessly clean and refreshingly comfortable. Nothing not to like!

- Gordon (10/5): Garden Paradise in Stirling - This comfy, cosy B&B is immaculate and set in the most beautiful, peaceful garden. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the bird life all around.
A short walk through the inspiring garden to the delightful town of Stirling added to our enjoyment of this experience. Special little touches and everything we needed. Would highly recommend this B&B if you're exploring the Mt Lofty Botanical Garden, Hahndorf and other villages in this region.
Thank you for an unforgettable stay. Nothing
- Jq (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly host. Nothing particular
- Pamela (8/5): Very good - Quiet self contained accommodation in Sterling with beautiful gardens planted by the owners Barbara and Reo who were both very hospitable and helpful. Provisions of juices, milk, tea, coffee, cereals, fruit as well as eggs and bacon provided. On site parking but if you have a low car suggest parking in street as property has a steep gutter.
- Grimm (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ridmika (10/5): Exceptional - Greeny environment, garden, foods and nature feeling attracts me more. Distance matters
- Maria (10/5): What a wonderful stay! - A gem in the heart of Stirling, Adelaide Hills. The garden with its pathways and birds make it a very special place. It has a private entrance; yet is part of the garden. Barbara and her husband go the extra mile for their guests. They made special arrangements for an early check-in; laundry; etc. The B&B has everything you can think of; convenient; pretty; and delightful. Everything was perfect!
- Beverley (10/5): A worthwhile escape - The lovely surrounds. The quietness. Close access to shops and tourist attractions. How can you write about something you didn't like when there was nothing we didn't like?
- Niki (6/5): Overall we enjoyed the scenery but the cottage needs an update. - Breakfast was ok. Good provisions however the dishes to use were a little unclean and the space to cook in was cramped. The cottage was very outdated and we found a lot of hairs on the bedding and dishes. The room was quite hot so we left the aircon on while we popped out to find it had been turned off when we returned.
Not sure how but felt a bit intruding for someone to enter the room while we were out.
We felt a little close in proximity to the owners. They kept away but it was a bit hard to feel secluded and have privacy.
- Julie-anne (10/5): perfect stay, perfect host & the serenity & isolation was just exceptional. - the gardens were an added bonus. absolutely immaculately maintained. an oasis to wander through & reconnect with Mother Earth. No complaints on anything.
- Hammond (8/5): A cute and romantic little stay. We recommend for sure. - Even though the room is attached to the main house, you still feel a sense of privacy and the view of the garden out the windows is so beautiful. The room itself is super cute with a little touch of German thrown in (the owners are clearly German). They accommodated our breakfast requests (soy milk & wholemeal bread) without hesitation. We were very happy. There wasn't really anything to complain about to be honest. You could occasionally hear the owners either inside the shed or maybe the house (not voices or anything, just the occasional light bang or similar). It wasn't really an issue, just something to note.
- Andrew (8/5): Very good - We had a lovely stay in this flat. The property is very scenic and walking distance to town. Our host Barbara was very thoughtful and generous. The bed linen.
- Keryn (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts were wonderful, and have thought of and provided everything you could possibly need for your stay. Very clean and has the most stunning gardens and private walking area. Only a 10 min walk into the Stirling main street. Highly recommended.
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Gloria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angela (9/5): Superb -
- Eamon (10/5): lovely property with hospitable host who was available but not hovering - proximity to town while surrounded by a garden and serenity. nothing
- Alison (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helen (10/5): Beautiful garden and the room was very comfortable. - Loved the garden. Such a short walk to Stirling. Very comfortable room and generous breakfast. nothing
- Graham (10/5): Relaxing couple of days. - The hostess was great ,very cooperative, explained all about the room equipment. Nothing we can think of.
- Sandra (9/5): A peaceful and well equipped B&B in a beautiful location. - This is a quiet, peaceful and relaxing B&B in a perfect location to explore the Adelaide Hills. Barbara is the perfect host, even thoughtfully checking before I arrived on my preferences for breakfast. The accommodation overlooks their stunning garden, and the bird life is wonderful.
- Tim (9/5): Superb -
