• Shellie (10/5): Quiet, private and charming, with great local food nearby at Litt. - This place was filled with vintage charm. It created a nostalgic vibe that for me elevated my vacation. It clearly had once been grandiose, and although it's greatness had faded, it was still stately. I loved the terraces, huge pool, and had a nearby beach to myself. It felt like a movie set from the 60s! It would be the perfect setting for a film. If you enjoy kitsch and want to be out of the fray, book this place. It is a short distance to a fabulous restaurant, Little, and a small grocery store/deli/bakery. Warick Parish is a short bus ride to Hamilton. The owner, Brenda, was raised here and is a font of knowledge about this hotel's history. Not applicable

There was also a very nice convenience store and a great restaurant very close by.There were sidewalks on both sides of the road. The pool was great and a small beach was just a short walked away.

• Natalie (9/5): Superb - Location was great, very close to the gas station and bus stop. Host was friendly. Good space for my mum and I. Nice spacious kitchen/diner. Very clean. Was hard to check-in at first when we arrived as didn't receive instructions to find host but my phone wasn't connecting so that made it a bit more difficult. Buses aren't as frequent on a Sunday but the host let us know bus frequency when we checked in on the Friday which helped us plan ahead.

The room was modest, for the price I expected more. The handle on the shower faucet fell off - I was able to repair for the period of my stay with the help of Brenda's grandson. Internet service was limited - these are robust houses, I think they need a signal repeater. Cable TV was disappointing.

• Fountaine (8/5): My family and I loved our stay at Blue Horizons and enjoyed the simple oasis. - Brenda was a great hostess! She helped us with a taxi snafu, made recommendations for restaurants and beaches, gave us some of the local history and was flexible with our need to check out needs. There was a mini-mart gas station across the street with coffee/pastries/breakfast/lunch/dinner/beer/wine items, and another sit-down restaurant (LITT-Lost IN THE TRIANGLE). They have a wonderful fish sandwich-so fresh- the owner catches his own fish! We had a small, but cute kitchenette, complete with cookware and dishes, microwave, toaster over, stove and refrigerator in one room, and a refrigerator, microwave, dishes in another. We were able to walk a mile to the grocery store also and get some supplies for lunches and snacks. The beds were super comfortable, and we had 2 beach towels and a beach umbrella waiting for us in our closet ! The patio was so cute and enjoyable to read a book on or relax with a glass of wine. The salt-water pool was amazing- so beautiful and clean- and refreshing. The architecture of the building was stunning- built by the owner's father's, so cleverly designed, including a moon gate. It takes you back to simpler yet elegant times. Blue Horizons is located right on the bus route- it is not a far walk at all to hop the bus to your destination. The beaches were breath-taking, and remarkably empty- like having your own private beach! The people are so nice, respectful and, helpful. Blue Horizons was not a far bus ride to Horseshoe beach- one of our targeted destinations. Blue Horizons is a relaxing get away, much simpler and cheaper than the massive hotels! Coming from the US- we are used to the luxury of many fast food franchises or cafe's everywhere- within and nearby cities/small towns/resorts and popular destinations. The cost of food is very high (apparently it is the result of Covid 19, and pricing has not been restored). There were a few TLC things that we did notice, and Brenda pointed out that were on the list to be fixed (door lock was jiggly but worked fine). They are also working to restore the outdoor kitchen area which was shut down and requires electrical repair.

• George (9/5): A Hidden Gem in Bermuda - I recently had the pleasure of staying at Blue Horizon Guest House in Bermuda, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality by the owner, who made me feel right at home. The room was impeccably clean and well-maintained, which instantly put me at ease. The property even had Wifi 6 and it was fast. While the guest house isn't directly on the waterfront, the view from my room was stunning, offering a beautiful glimpse of the ocean that was truly mesmerizing. The location is also fantastic, with several pristine beaches just a short distance away, making it an ideal spot for beach lovers. One of the standout features of my stay was the access to a fully equipped kitchen. This was a huge plus for me, as it allowed me to prepare my own meals and enjoy them at my leisure. The room was also thoughtfully stocked with essential amenities, including beach towels and a beach umbrella, which made my beach outings even more enjoyable. Overall, Blue Horizon Guest House offers an exceptional blend of comfort, convenience, and charm. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay in Bermuda. I look forward to returning on my next visit! The building is old. There's no blackout curtains and there ants in the bathroom.

• Todd (7/5): An affordable and convenient place to stay in Bermuda - Very conveniently located and eating establishments were within walking distance. The owner was extremely helpful in resolving any issues and willingly let me plug in the electric car on the premises. The room was fine and fairly large and comfortable with a fridge which was appreciated. Slightly run down but acceptable. The manager/owner's office was under renovation so at times not easy to find management but since she lived on the property not a huge issue. The first night couldn't get the TV or Fridge to work but the owner resolved the issue by the next night so thankful for that.
• Christopher (9/5): Great Place to Stay near Hamilton, Bermuda! - The grounds and room were very clean. The room was large and had a small refrigerator and microwave. The bed was large and comfortable. There was a window air conditioning unit and a ceiling fan over the bed to keep you cool at night. The included WiFi was very fast. There were public bus stops across the street, which made getting around the island an easy task. There was a beautiful beach just across the street. Also across the street was a gas station that sold pre-packaged food and also some prepared food. The cold water in the bath tub / shower came out a rusty color if you didn't run it for a little bit before getting in. The bathtub drain was slow, but the owner explained that was because of people washing the beach sand down the drain.
• Coleman (10/5): Down the road from horseshoe Beach - Brenda is precious and went out of her way to make the house beautiful and comfortable. The house is beautiful. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cookware and coffee maker. The bathroom was fully stocked with towels and toiletries. She has lots of brochures with activities and restaurants and local businesses and directions to the beach and everything. We didn't want for anything. We could not have been more comfortable and happy with the accommodations. There is no shortage of kitchen equipment. There is much disrepair and dangerous fittings. Doors do not close properly and maintenance is much required.

There were a convenience store and restaurant just down the street and the famed Horseshoe Bay was a 5-minute bus ride away, with bus stops in both directions right on the street in front of the house. The mattress in the bedroom was not very comfortable. We were also disappointed that the pool was drained, but Brenda said the pump had broken and she was having trouble getting a new one.
• Lonnal (8/5): Overall, it was a comfortable stay. - The location of the property is safe. There is a gas station (Food Court inside the gas station) that was across the street. Which made it convenience for me to grab water, basic necessity, alcohols, snacks and food. There is a nice Restaurant that is only a 2 minutes walk from the property. There is a beautiful beach that can be access by walking through the gas station. (Find the stairs that will lead you down to the beach). The property can use some minor updating. The walls are very thin. You can hear your neighbor. The water pressure for the shower is not as strong.

• Dave (10/5): Great place, especially if visiting / working in Hamilton - The hostess of the property met me right when I arrived. She showed me the room and informed me all that I needed for the stay. I was surprised that most days the room was reset/made up while I was out for work. I had a much-better-than-expected sleep each night; a very comfortable bed and room. The property is right on the Bus 7 line which goes to downtown Hamilton. It's about a 15 minute ride. Very convenient for going to and from the city. There are not many businesses right within walking distance (two restaurants and a gas station), so it was convenient to shop for groceries, etc. in Hamilton and use the mini-fridge and microwave.

• Mark (10/5): A great place to stay, mid-location on the island, allowing you to easily enjoy all of Bermuda! - Brenda was the best hostess! She met me as I arrived, showed me around the property and the apartment, gave me lots of great information about how to get around in Bermuda and she was so friendly, courteous and helpful! I will definitely be renting from Brenda again in the future! There wasn't anything I didn't like. If I had to pick something, I would say the water pressure in the shower isn't what I'm used to, but I still had no problem washing up ok.

They provided a beach bag with towels and you could take an umbrella Tip: make sure you have a way to get around the island - get bus tokens (or coins in local currency) or rent a scooter. Pool didn't look too appealing, did not make use of that
• Mariangela (7/5): Perfect for a solo trip - The location is perfect. Bus stops are close by. There is a gas station with a store. Marley beach is only 10 minutes away walking. Brenda was very helpful when I needed and very friendly

• Gal (5/5): Fine.. fair - The location, size of appartment The appartment was not clean enough. I had to clean it myself the first day. Shower pressure was off, doorlock mechanism was off so I couldnt lock&open the door easily. Bathroom leaked! The owner was super nice yet the place is neglected and needs repairs. Not good value for money.
• Dunlop (10/5): Exceptional - I like how clean it was and I just love the outside looking at the sunset and the pool was great and the owner was so friendly looking out for her guess I was stay there again and I will tell a lot of people to stay there The room was very clean and it was so relaxing there I could they all day and didn't have to come out
