• Vivek (1/5): - Convenient Location. If you’re looking for a masterclass in how not to manage shared accommodation, this is the place. First of all, the management team deserves a standing ovation for their impressive ability to not manage anything at all. Long-term guests seem to run the property like it’s their personal kingdom, while short-term guests get the privilege of front-row seats to chaos. Solutions? Non-existent. Apparently, maintaining basic control over long-term residents is too ambitious a goal. Instead, short-term guests get to suffer through cracking noise, inconvenience, and overall discomfort. What a bargain! And when issues are raised? Don’t worry — nothing happens. The lack of management skills is honestly impressive. Problems aren’t solved; they’re simply observed… and then ignored. In summary, if you enjoy overpaying to feel uncomfortable and unheard, this is the perfect place. Otherwise, you might want to look elsewhere — somewhere with actual management and basic respect for guests.

The owners of the property were really lovely to interact with, and honestly the house was g - Beautiful house, very comfortable room, exactly what I needed for my stay. Instructions for the lockbox were clear and it was nice to have a parking spot. I didn’t love that I could hear everything the other traveler in the house was doing in the washroom from my bedroom, but that’s also the nature of a house. So not a huge deal.

We stayed in a basement room. The room was clean. The common area was tidy and well-maintained. There were all the appliances needed for a stay-in. The backyard with a deck is nice to laid-back and enjoy the afternoon sun. Check-in and check-out process is simple. Visit the nearby St Jacobs Farmer's Market (Thur & Sat 8:00-15:00). The restaurants in the area also worth exploring.

• Marina (5/5): The facility is ‘tired’. Could be better for the money paid for it. - The reservation process, support stuff, check in and check out process is very smooth. The location is great. The facility is ‘tired’. We had a room on the 3rd floor and it was good overall, but the beds headboards were not fixed properly and made nose, so both me and my daughter woke up when anyone of us were changing position. The WiFi router is located in basement, so the signal is our room was weak. The bathroom was clean, but the shower was slow and weak. Could be better for the money paid for it.

The pillows were flat, doors are thin, not thick/heavy and sound proof like a hotel. A bit nerve wrecking because it was me and my daughter travelling alone. I am strong enough to kick it open, therefore, so can anyone else if they wanted to get in.

• Jennifer (10/5): Beautiful and clean house -- we are very happy we chose to stay here! - The house was very clean -- washrooms, kitchen, bedroom -- all were clean and looked exactly like the pictures. We didn't have a chance to cook anything, so I cannot comment on the kitchen, but aside from that, everything was wonderful. Location-wise, it is very convenient -- very close to grocery stores and restaurants. Nothing -- all was amazing!

Price was reasonable. Nice bathroom. Modem didn’t work and hence no tv. Apparently password supplied was incorrect. Good photography on website, looks deluxe but it is not. Read descriptions carefully, some rooms share bathrooms with strangers.
• Judy (7/5): Good clean, spot for a large connect familiar group. - The location was fabulous for our needs- right near the Ira Needles corridor. Initially when I booked we didn’t understand the number of units that shared the common areas- being only two, we were concerned that we could potentially be in this house with a lot of other people and no one to act as host on site which would be a true ‘guest house’. It would be a great spot for a very large connected group- not so great for a couple. We ended up on our own but there was no guarantee of that so we were a little on edge about the secure nature of that. The carpets and paint are getting a little tired. Everything else functioned well and staff was helpful.

• Dongseok (9/5): Superb - The location was very nice with a quiet neighbourhood and close to the Boardwalk mall with lots of bus routes available. All the necessary facilities were available with everything in working order. House was maintained nicely with no issues. The only issue I had was when I was using the laundry facilities. There was a washing machine and a dryer available in the basement, which the housekeeping staff used as well. I had a rather long stay and had to do some laundry, and some of the white fabrics ended up with a slight brown smudge. Not sure if it was from the washer or the dryer.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable, the carpets were stained and looked dirty. Some of the other guests were mean and noisy. One of the bathrooms ran out of toilet paper on 2 of the 4 days we were there. Other guests kept turning off the outside light so when we returned after dark it was hard to find the house in the dark and use the keyless entry to get in.

• Grampa2056 (9/5): Superb - Close enough to ride your bike to mtb at Hydrocut Waterloo mtb park. The Boardwalk Store Plaza across the street has a lot of stores and restaurants to choose from. Not far from Costco. A few minor points away from a 10. The location exceeded my expectations. I upgraded the dishcloth and tea towels from the dollar store for future use. I also left dishwasher soap behind. Forks, knives, and spoons were low quality but might be due to loss.

I booked a double room and the room had a double bed, trundle bed, and pull out coach but no bed linens for the extra beds. I had to move heavy furniture to pull out the beds. The pull out bed was filthy. The beds were uncomfortable. The window had no screens. It was advertised as non smoking and reeked of stale smoke.

• Suelen (9/5): Awesome place to stay! I'll definitely recommend it. - The space is gorgeous! Awesome kitchen and a very comfy sofa. The location is perfect and the autonomy was great! It was beautiful and clean and we had a great time there. During the week there were hammer and drill sounds all afternoon because the unit below was passing through a renovation. Sometimes it was too loud.
• Joan (4/5): Rethink your stay... - The other couple staying there. And the one cleaning staff - Rachel she is the only one that understood English and did a good job. The other cleaner staff should be FIRED. Location is the only positive. The place was filthy, the dry vent is a fire hazard, there is minimal kitchen utensils and the frig, stove and cupboard area you were assigned were disgusting, the bed was uncomfortable, I was stabbed in the foot by someone's TOE NAIL left in the carpet in my room. I return back one evening to find a truck parked dead center of a shared driveway, upon entering the property I trip over someone shoes left at the entrance, to then find 2 intoxicated young men in the living room, couch pillow thrown on the floor and they were lying listing to the TV. The one man spent the night throwing up in the common bathroom on the second floor. The sound of him was very disturbing to all guests.

• Sharp (2/5): Not good - the location. the bed was very dirty, the room was very cold, fiber glass exposed in the basement, and the cleaners were disrespectful they are hustling you out of the bathroom because they want to wash the towels. Finally, the internet was always giving problems, this was the last straw because it was really interrupting my work. Not good at all.
