• Danushka Sampath (10/5): The owner of the property is an absolute STAR. - I think the best thing about staying at this property, is the host and the owner of the property! He is the loveliest of people and super responsive. I was travelling with my son, and I felt safe and the owner even allowed for a late checkout given my circumstances. I would go back again, and definitely stay there - all because of the fantastic host.

Very kind and very helpful I couldn’t fault this place. 12/10 P.s. went to 5 cute tavernas and the salad we was given here was unmatched. Probably the best salad I have ever eaten in my life.

• Anna (10/5): - It’s such a carefully thought out place. The bed was extremely comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was just right, and the towels and linens smelled divine. The layout of the apartment was very imaginative and at the same time comforting. Everything one may need was provided. The owner is very kind and immediately responsive. The courtyard is a relaxing area to sit and read or just chill. The area is the old part of Oroklini, so very quiet, but also right around the corner from restaurants and bars. I would definitely stay again!

It was spotless, great shower, very comfortable bed. Easy parking next to the building. There was a noisy young man staying for a couple of nights above us & he walked heavily, moved a lot and thumped on the floor. The bathroom door has dropped in its hinges & tended to get stuck open. No hanging space for clothes.

• Chrissy (10/5): An unforgettable stay - exceptional! - We loved our stay at Casavero! We booked the suite with the balcony for a couple of days, and it was of an exceptional standard. Blending tradition with modern style, the suite is beautifully decorated and presented to a high standard. It was clean, with a very comfortable bed, and contained all the essentials we needed. Yiannos is a superb host - very welcoming, extremely helpful both pre-arrival and during our stay, providing assistance when needed, and quick to reply to all our questions. One of our best stays; I’d give it 6 stars if I could. That we had to leave so soon! N/A

Il est parfait pour deux personnes. L’extérieur commun mais avec une partie personnelle est également très plaisant, calme avec des équipements de qualité et une décoration raffinée. Yiannos est un hôte accueillant, cultivé et serviable. Nous avons bien profité de ce havre de sérénités après les balades de la journée. Il y a tout le nécessaire à Oroklini pour se restaurer, faire ses courses. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement pour un séjour parfait !!

Questa casa vacanza è un gioiello raro, curato in ogni minimo dettaglio, con un gusto che ricorda la Toscana e la Provenza insieme. Un equilibrio perfetto tra eleganza, comfort e autenticità. La pulizia è impeccabile, ai massimi livelli mai riscontrati altrove. I letti sono un sogno: materasso comodissimo con uno strato aggiuntivo e ben due coprimaterassi. Anche le federe hanno il copri federa – dettaglio quasi introvabile all’estero – che fa davvero la differenza. La cucina è piccola ma attrezzata in modo eccellente: non manca davvero nulla. Abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo la courtyard comune, perfetta per godersi colazioni rilassanti all’aperto in un’atmosfera tranquilla e raffinata. Tutto è stato pensato per offrire un’esperienza speciale e accogliente, con una cura quasi artigianale per ogni elemento della casa. Un ringraziamento speciale va anche al proprietario: persona squisita, gentile e sempre disponibile. La comunicazione con lui è stata semplice, fluida e piacevole fin dal primo contatto. The apartment itself is very quaint, comfortable and very well presented. Just a suberb place to relax and stay. The host even provided a greek salad, water and a can of beer as complimentary items and this was well received and very thoughtful. A lovely place to be with gardens also to relax in. Just lovely. The owner was very helpful and friendly, especially when we needed his help as we were locked outside the room 😛 The room with the stairs inside, is not very good for small children as it is easy to fall off and is very stressful for the parents... Of course, it is up to the guest 's choice!

We loved being in the old town and the quirkiness of the property suited us perfectly. A kind and helpful host. Prior knowledge that the second bed was in the basement. Not too much of a problem as my son used it instead of me as was planned. Have to be careful around the stair well and would not be suitable for younger children. Quite strange that there was no lighting in the bathroom.

We stayed in the Athena (balcony room) which was very clean and tidy with a lovely comfortable bed. Yiannos was an exceptional host, very friendly and accommodating. The location was great for us as we had a hire car but it would probably be a bit difficult if you were relying on public transport or taxis Nothing

He left an excellent freshly made"village salad" for us and some delicious little homemade cakes. Air con very good and large comfortable bed. The outdoor courtyard was delightful - for breakfast, reading or an evening drink. Also good for socialising with my sister and partner staying upstairs. We needed a place to stay in Oroklini and would definitely recommend this one. Lack of floor and storage space. Our room had less space than suggested in the ads, as the extra bed was in a kind of windowless cellar. Luckily we didn't need it.

• Gill (10/5): Wonderful! :) - Lovely place, great location and really friendly and accomodating owner who came and made us a lovely G&T! :) The property was perfect for our needs so thank you very much Yiannos and sorry it's taken me so long to write this! ;) The only thing I would say and this didn't apply to our room but the two rooms that were on top of each other had very hit and miss hot water in the showers, mostly I don't thnk it worked so they had to keep coming over and using our shower instead. Yiannos did keep coming over to try and fix this but unfortunately like I said it didn't really work for the two rooms off to the left as you walked into the property.
• Annika (9/5): Superb - Beautiful gem, tucked away in a lively authentic cypriot village, with one of the Islands most famous tavernas nearby. The secluded courtyard with relax loungers and seating facilities adds another living room to The three themed suites. Ours had an ottoman flavour and was furnished with delectable taste. The hospitality and generosity of Yiannos were simply outstanding. Not to be recommended If one does not have their own transport as the Public one is more or less non- existent. A storage unit for clothing and personal items would be a definite added value to avoid the beautiful interior to become too cluttered.

• Iain (9/5): Unique restored property offering comfort, peace and privacy. Fantastic value. - Absolutely unique property, which has been lovingly restored and beautifully furnished and equiped. The patio area has been giver a lot of consideration, with so many beautiful plants and Olive trees planted in containers. It is a lovely peaceful area to relax, though the sun dissapears after about 3pm. Only fault worth commenting on is that the shower is extremetly temperamental and so difficuly to fine tune the right temperature.

• Steve (10/5): Exceptional - This is a place with character. Pleasant courtyard. Great antiques in my room. Clean, very comfortable bed. Location is close to the old town and away from the more 'suburban' areas of Oroklini, but you're close to some great restaurants and pubs. You can even go to Bingo night nearby. Great Saturday night for dinner at Voreas followed by drinks and live music at Verochino (may need reservations for both). Casavero is a very relaxing getaway. Easy to understand directions on getting in. Nothing. It took a while to figure out all the light switches, but if that's the worst thing, you can see it's pretty great.

The owners must have great taste for detail and big love for our local heritage. Our stay was like a journey back in time. The materials of the room, the pottery, the small yet charming details - like the window, the bed cover and the lightning - adding in the general style and ambience and the way all these were blended with the modern way of living, is simply amazing. Bed and pillows were very comfortable, while the facilities meet the modern demands. Our host Yiannos was very polite and friendly. We will definitely choose this place again. /

Every detail in our room was built with great taste and love, we felt there like it was our home. The village is super quiet and beautiful, everything you need is within walking distance, nice viewpoint and a trail nearby. The host was super nice and brought us local beer, chocolate, and nuts, also he decorated a patio with fresh beautiful branches while we were staying there, he was very kind and mindful. Also very pleased with the jacuzzi and water pressure. I couldn't stop taking photos of this place, will definitely come back again. there is nothing to mention, everything was perfect.
