• John (9/5): Overall it's a wonderful stay. Great location and great value. - The location is very convenient. The room is very tidy and comfy. The staff are very friendly and really prompt with replies. The room we stayed at, the floor to ceiling glass doors face the walkway so you will need to close the curtains for some privacy.

• Marianna (10/5): - Alles wirklich super! Alles bis ins Detail liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Fernglas zur Verfügung zu haben, war ein absolutes Highlight! Nehmt es unbedingt bei Wanderungen mit. Das Willkommenskorb war auch eine schöne Überraschung. (Nutzt nicht den Wasserkocher und die Mikrowelle gleichzeitig. Die Sicherung könnte springen 😅)

• Leah (9/5): Excellent.....that was one word!! - Everything.....great location, accommodation and very clean. The manager was awesome for providing information and suggestions of where to eat. Silly things like paper towel or kleenex or napkins as there was food preparation facilities available. Just found it strange there wasn't any paper towel to wipe your hands on when eating, or kleenex to blow your nose.

• April (9/5): Lovely Stay and loved the sauna! - Really gorgeous little guest house with 3 suites on the lower half of the house. We stayed in unit 3 right next to the sauna which was perfect. We loved using the cedar barrel sauna that had a gorgeous view of the estuary in front. We saw deer walking by. The room was super clean with a great layout, comfy bed and nice linens and even lovely soft robes. The snack pack was a lovely bonus. Would stay here again for sure! Only slight downside was being able to hear the people upstairs but it wasnt late or early so was ok.

• Maggie (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay here. The sauna was delightful with a view of the estuary and forest. Our suite was nicely decorated and super clean! It was a calm, quiet space with a beautiful view, and the caretaker, Josie, was lovely and very helpful. We appreciated the kitchenette and it was well-provisioned with appliances and dishes. We would definitely recommend staying here. A few wall hooks would be helpful to hang extra items easily like the dishcloth and t-towel.

The attention to detail was incredible... from the welcome basket to the kitchenette/ coffee station. The room is decorated so beautifully...you feel like you're at a spa. We wish we could have stayed longer. The breakfast suggestion of Heartwood Kitchen was fabulous. We really enjoyed ourselves, thanks so much! Nothing.... loved everything including the beautiful grounds and gardens.

• Candace (8/5): Excellent place to stay - We loved the room. The room was on bottom floor, so no stairs. We were next to the sauna which we used several times during the weekend and had it all to ourselves each time even though the place was sold out. We had a beautiful view of the estuary. The staff were excellent and promptly replied to my messages if any issues arise. The coffee machine was a French press, which worked great for that first cup of coffee to get you going in the morning before venturing out for a really good coffee.

• Judith (10/5): Relax and unwind - It is such a gorgeous location! Spotlessly clean, comfortable and the sauna instructions were great. It is a lovely spot to unwind and relax. Could have stayed for another week and would happily book again. Very mildly could hear the neighbours. Did not bother us in the slightest, however it might be worthwhile for other people to know.

• Jennifer (8/5): Suite moderne et confortable - Lit très confortable, chambre très grande et propre, moderne, grands placards pour vêtements, sauna et jardin appréciables, peignoirs tout doux dans la chambre. Le propriétaire est très amical. Un grand panier d'accueil est offert avec bouteilles et encas. Lit petit, un Queen ou King Size aurait été apprécié. Kitchenette beaucoup trop petite, espace mal optimisé + pas d'éponge pour faire la vaisselle (qui se fait dans le lavabo). Personne ne passe dans la chambre quand vous restez plusieurs jours d'affilée, cela aurait été pratique pour changer les poubelles ou laver la vaisselle, mais si besoin vous avez le contact du personnel.

My husband and I enjoyed the snack basket that was provided! I was in unit 2 , there was not enough prep area to prepare food and snacks. I managed with the space there was, a sharp knife would have been handy with the cutting board.

Nun ja- im Waschbecken im Bad Geschirr zu spülen ist skurril. Leider gebt es keinen Besen und gereinigt wird nicht während des Aufenthaltes.

• marcel (7/5): - De kamer is leuk ingericht. je hebt een mooi uitzicht op een meer en de natuur. Toen we 's-ochtends de gordijnen openden, stonden er gewoon 2 herten in onze voortuin te 'grazen'. Dat was heel gaaf. leuk om een welkomstpakketje te krijgen. Er was een gebrek aan privacy waardoor je eigenlijk -naar mijn mening- niet veel had aan het mooie uitzicht. De 3 kamers van het guesthouse liggen naast elkaar, hebben allemaal een glazen voordeur en er loopt 1 pad langs de huisjes. Wij hadden de pech het middelste huisje, nr 2, te hebben. Toen ik s'ochtend de gordijnen open deed om van het uitzicht te genieten, kwam eerst de buurman van de ene kant naar ons huisje gelopen, want zijn voordeur zit 2 meter naast die van ons. Daarna volgde de andere buurman meerdere keren die wel langs onze voordeur moest lopen, want daar liep het pad nu eenmaal. Toen maar weer de gordijnen dicht gedaan. De volgende dag hadden we meer privacy want aan beide kanten waren de gasten weg. Toen wam er wel een hond blaffend aangerend naar ons raam zodra ik die open deed. Geen idee of die van de eigenaar was, maar hij bleef in eerste instantie terugkomen zodra we een raam open of dicht deden. Tot slot vond ik het wat vervelend dat er blijkbaar een wasruimte achter onze kamer zat (en ik vermoed ook achter de andere kamers), want op een gegeven moment hoorde ik vanachter een deur die op onze kamer zat, urenlang wasmachines en drogers draaien (wel overdag). Die deur kwam niet helemaal tot de grond, en ik denk dat het daardoor goed hoorbaar was. Men zou die deur dus moeten vervangen om te voorkomen dat je het geluid van de wasmachines zo goed hoort. Het plaatsje Tofino vond ik leuker dan ucluelet.

• Rowena (8/5): It was a good stay overall - Close to the town. Very easy to reach staff. Saw a bear outside the sauna, deers near the property. The room size is ok. for a short stay but still small. Requested for a fan and they gave one bec it was hot in the afternoon. Would have like it better if there was some dish soap for the utensils. very little space to move around if u wanna heat up food.
• Arne (10/5): Absolut zu empfehlen! - Das Guest House ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Zimmer ist sehr modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Bett ist sehr bequem und es gibt eine Sitzecke mit einem Tisch und Sofa. Außerdem ein großzügiges Bad und eine kleine Küchenecke mit Spüle, Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher, Frenchpress und Geschirr. Außerdem gab es etwas Kaffee und Teebeutel und zur Begrüßung einen Korb mit Snacks und Wasser. Vor dem Zimmer befindet sich eine Terrasse mit Stühlen und einen herrlichen Blick auf Wasser (bei Flut) und Wald. Manchmal standen auch Rehe im Garten. Parkplätze waren auch ausreichend vorhanden. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.Die Fass -Sauna mit tollem Ausblick haben wir auch genutzt.

Sauna included witch looks out over peaceful nature. I saw wild bears twice during my 2 night stay. Free parking Nice little gift basket Easy to walk in to central Ucluelet to go to either grocery/liquor store ore restaurants/bars The price i payed was, well i could feel it. However you do get quite a bit for that and you are staying one of the most popular vacation places near Vancouver. Be aware there are some bears that quite often happens to be very close to this place so that could be a negative or a positive depending on how you look at it

The room was clean, quiet, and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The hosts were warm and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed. The peaceful setting and comfortable amenities made for a truly relaxing experience. Would absolutely stay again!

• Birgit (10/5): - Wundervolle Unterkunft mitten in der Natur ein echter Geheimtipp! Wir hatten einen traumhaften Aufenthalt in dieser liebevoll eingerichteten Unterkunft. Alles war blitzsauber, geschmackvoll gestaltet und mit so viel Herz eingerichtet, dass man sich vom ersten Moment an wie zuhause gefühlt hat. Die Lage mitten in der Natur war ein echtes Highlight – morgens standen Rehe direkt vor der Terrasse und schauten neugierig vorbei, als wollten sie mit uns Kaffee trinken. Und als besonderes Erlebnis haben wir sogar Otter vorbeischwimmen sehen einfach magisch! Auch die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen es war wirklich an alles gedacht. Nach langen Wandertagen war die Sauna ein absoluter Genuss und ein perfekter Abschluss. Die Unterkunft liegt ruhig und dennoch praktisch der Ort ist schnell erreichbar und auch nach Tofino ist es nicht weit. Das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis war absolut fair wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diesen besonderen Ort nur weiterempfehlen!

• sandra (9/5): Peaceful, modern rooms with lovely outlook. - Superb location just out of town next to an inlet. Lovely to watch the deer feeding on the lawn and across the water. The accommodation was modern, clean and tastefully decorated. A nice selection of snacks was provided and an area to make coffee and a microwave. It would have been nice to sit inside and look out of the window but furniture didn't accommodate this in our apartment . Other rooms seemed to have a better outlook. The glass was blown in the door which made it cloudy and restricted the view even more.

Welcome basket was a lovely surprise and good to have, including some milk! Didn’t have the pleasure of meeting Justin but Josie was amazing. We had some car trouble and she helped us a lot. Would definitely return to Liahona Guest House if we return to Vancouver Island (fingers crossed). Nothing.

• Melanie (10/5): Klare Weiterempfehlung 🫶🏼 - Es hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen! Wir hatten einen Aufenthalt von 3 Nächten und hätten es noch länger ausgehalten in der Unterkunft. Die ruhige Lage mit diesem wunderschönen Ausblick war einzigartig! Das Zimmer modern eingerichtet, sehr geräumig und sauber! Der check-in als auch der check-out verliefen total unkompliziert. Zu Fuß (ca. 15 Gehminuten) sind nette Restaurants erreichbar, als auch der Supermarkt und Jamie's Whaling Station (dort haben wir eine Bären Tour gebucht). Diese Unterkunft können wir zu 100% weiterempfehlen!

• Jacqueline (9/5): Mooi gelegen, comfortabel guesthouse. - Zorgvuldig en compleet ingerichte suite met comfortabele zithoek. Mooie ligging aan de rand van Ucluelet. Aan het eind van de dag zag je er hertjes. Accommodatie was prima. Het enige minpunt was het gladde bad. Een badmat zou welkom zijn.
