• Marian (10/5): Home away from Home - A home away from home with a lovely welcome when we arrived. Brett has thought of everything you could possibly need especially in the kitchen. Very generous breakfast supplies in the fridge. Really comfortable beds and the whole back yard to ourselves with plenty to do. Enough throw rugs to it outside and keep even a Queenslander warm! Definitely coming back Absolutely nothing

• Maria (10/5): Nice cozy place in an excellent location to explore Adelaide Hills - The place is very cozy and clean. There were many small things to make our stay comfortable, including all sorts of guides, cookware and kitchen appliances, board games, etc. Brett is an excellent host, very caring and hospitable. He even provided drinking water, fresh bread and some food for breakfast. The property also has very nice backyard, where you can spent time sipping wine or playing table tennis or darts. Everything was perfect

The place is spotless, cosy and private. Self catering supplies fantastic, lots of tourist info and tips, and breakfast supplies were awesome! Bikes borrowed were super helpful and made our weekend :) thanks! Nothing could have been better.

We appreciated the breakfast items that were provided in the fridge, and even that Netflix was already working without using our own account. Brett had thought of everything to make our stay as relaxing as possible! Cannot think of any faults!

Brett, the host, was fantastic and had thought of everything to the tiniest detail! The food was delicious and the location was good, with options for transport if required. Nothing! It was great!

Nice and quiet and not far from Woodside town. - Self-catering and fully equipped kitchen with cereal, bread and bacon and eggs provided in the fridge, along with milk, butter and jams etc. Even a bowl of strawberries. Quiet location. Nice view of fields. Big TV with free Netflix, a stereo and everything needed for a short or long stay. Most things were labeled as well. Very "homely" and comfortable. A perfect place really. Brett is very nice and helpful and not intrusive at all and leaves you to it. He will have a chat if he sees you want to but will leave you alone otherwise. Lovely decor and lighting. Aircon and heating work well. Nothing really.

Very generous with lots of little touches that we weren’t expecting. Food in the fridge for a breakfast,, great tips on things to do in the area & heaps of activities for the whole family to in the downtime - bikes to ride, table tennis, darts, board games, books, DVDs & more. It was also very private even though it located in the backyard of the main house. Brett went out of his way to ensure we had our privacy during our stay. We had the entire backyard to ourselves. The shower, this could be a Woodside problem not a Adelaide Hills Escape problem, but the water pressure in the shower was terrible.

They equipped all the leisure activity such as bike, ping pong table, games. Just love this place and wish we could stay longer. Not at all.

The location was perfect for visiting local wineries. There was a lot of space. You have access to the whole backyard. It’s even better than the photos. Breakfast was also included. We really appreciated being able to cook breakfast after arriving late the night before. Brett was an excellent host. Thank you!

A large under cover entertainer area outside with everything you'd need. Perfect place to stay for many days to explore the Adelaide Hills. The bed was our favorite it was extremely comfortable best sleep we've had for ages. We'd highly recommend a stay there.

Very clean and well kept guesthouse with everything you need for a couple of nights. Good location for exploring the Adelaide Hills with lots of information provided. Great service from host and reservations. Guesthouse is literally in the hosts backyard but is very private as the main house always has back closed up and you have full access to backyard which is great. This was not a negative or a “didn’t like” for us, but might be worth explaining as the close proximity to main house may not suit everyone

So many thoughtful touches such as local fresh baked bread and produce to make our first breakfast! Brett had a brief chat with us when we got there to ensure we were settled in and suggested some activities based on our interests. we loved our stay there. The town it is in is very nice with enough shops that you could manage. You would need a vehicle or driver if you wanted to go to wineries. However the owner, Brett had contacts for that at a reasonable price so not really an issue

Loved it! - It was a perfectly presented unit, with everything you need to have a warm, friendly stay in the Adelaide hills. There were bacon and eggs in the fridge, a fresh crusty roll on the bench and super-comfortable beds and lounge suite. It was spotless and every amenity was provided for, even an excellent pod coffee machine for the morning start. Thanks for a wonderful stay in a delightful location.
