Angelika and Andy were super helpful with check-in, but also when we had car trouble and by providing medicine when my partner was unwell and pharmacies were closed. The apartment was very clean, spacious and well-equipped. The bed was very comfortable. It is the perfect place to relax after a long day of skiing. It is wonderful to wake up to the gorgeous views of the mountains. Because it was late in the season, the restaurant sadly wasn't open.

• Agnieszka (10/5): Komfortowy wyjazd na narty 3 osobową rodziną - Cudowny, przestronny apartament z bardzo dobrym wyposażeniem (do totalnej perfekcji brakowało mikrofalówki, ale piekarnik nadrabiał braki). Super wygodne łóżka, łazienka z wielkim prysznicem i 2 umywalkami, BARDZO wygodne łóżka, OBŁĘDNY widok, przemiła obsługa. Chętnie wrócimy !
• Lars (8/5): - Der Blick nach Mayrhofen war einfach super. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sehr sauber. Die Bäder in Nebenhaus sind aus den 80er Jahren, sie sind aber ok und sehr sauber. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir mussten auf halber Strecke von Mayrhofen hoch zum Hotel tatsächlich Schneeketten aufziehen. Der Weg ist teils sehr steil, schmal und kurvenreich. Die Straße wurde erst am frühen Morgen geräumt. Das begründet natürlich keine negative Bewerting des Hotels. Muss hier aber durchaus erwähnt werden. Das Frühstück war ok, aber jeden Tag dieselbe Auswahl. Leider keine Körnerbrötchen und nur Semmeln und Laugenstangen. Das frische Rührei war aber super.. Der Hauptgang beim 4 -Gänge Abendessen war nichts besonderes.

• Ana (10/5): Amazing and would gladly stay again. - We loved everything about it. It’s high up overlooking the town below and has amazing views. In our opinion, this is much nicer than being in the busy town that feels very commercial. On heavy snow days you might need chains but the road is cleaned often so you will be fine without if you time your drives well. The rooms are comfortable and have an infrared rooms. There is a ski equipment room and booth warmers. The half board is amazing. Great tasty food, different menu to choose from every evening. Proper 4 course dinners cooked to perfection. Nice breakfast as well. Everything is clean. There is a family vibe to it as you see the same guests twice a day. It is hosted by two women who are both very good at what they do. Having a kettle in the room would be nice but it’s also possible to purchase hot drinks at dinner. We also wished for a more frequent change of towels but managed.
• Cezary (10/5): - Absolutely fantastic stay! A modern, very clean hotel in a beautiful location, with an amazing view over the Zillertal towards Hintertux. The room was extremely comfortable, with plenty of cupboards – which is really important for longer stays. Large, well-designed bathroom and a sunny, south-facing balcony with a breathtaking view (it must be incredible in summer!). The ski room is perfectly equipped, with always-warm boot dryers – a big plus after a day on the slopes. The food was excellent; the duck was absolutely delicious, truly state of the art cuisine. Professional and very friendly service at every step. Check-in and final bill were handled in literally one minute – smooth and effortless. Our best stay in the Alps

Die Ausstattung und Lage des Gasthauses sind nicht zu übertreffen! Das Gasthaus ist nicht mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen (30 min Gehzeit bis zum Skibus / 50€ Taxi von Mayrhofen)

• Dominik (10/5): Ein sehr erholsamer Kurzurlaub - Wir hatten eine ganz wunderbare Woche im Berggasthof Steinerkogl. Die von uns bewohnte Panorama-Suite hat in alle Richtungen eine traumhafte Aussicht. Der riesige Balkon, mit Blick in das Tal und auf Mayrhofen ist sicherlich der Höhepunkt. Das Frühstück ist völlig ausreichend und das Abendessen war immer sehr gut. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Herzlichkeit der Gastgeberfamilie und die nette Kommunikation im Vorfeld unserer Reise.

• Norbert Norbert (6/5): Nur bei schönem Wetter zu empfehlen. - Frühstück war ausreichend, allerdings wenig Auswahl. Wir kamen im Nebel an, die Unterkunft war schwer zu finden, da unser Navi es nicht sofort fand. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr schön, allerdings hatten wir Pech mit dem Wetter: jeden Tag in den Wolken ohne Sicht, jeden Tag Regen bei 10 ° C. Wir sind am 3. Tag weiter nach Italien gefahren. Unterkunft nur bei schönem Wetter mit guter Sicht zu empfehlen.

• Dimitrov (10/5): Best guest experience in Mayrhofen! - Everything was great! I couldn’t recommend any better place than this. We booked it for 7 days with breakfast and dinner included and everything was more than fantastic. The food was very tasty, plated wonderfully. On top of everything we had saunas in the rooms(which was really surprising, we wasn’t expecting it) The view from the rooms is astonishing! You have warm places for your ski equipment where you can leave it to dry. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. The photos that I’ve attached are the ones from our balcony of the room. The pillows :(

• Džeipī (10/5): Great view from the house in all directions - 360 degree view of the mountains. - If you are willing to drive ~10-15 minutes to the residence on a winding mountain road (the old road, not the tunnel), then this will be a great option. If you choose to order dinner, be careful - don't eat too much during the day, otherwise you won't be able to cope with dinner :) In any case, the view of the city and the surrounding mountains from the residence will be unforgettable. Breakfast a bit monotonous. Sometimes the WiFi didn't work, but that's okay - we came to ski and snowboard, not to "sit" on the Internet ;). This is not "dislike", but a simple statement of fact - snow chains will probably be needed if there is heavy snow.

Location out of town on top of a hill so when it snowed, it became more difficult to drive in/out (needed snow chains).
• Violetta (10/5): Exceptional - Beautifully located with a stunning view over Mayrhofen and 360 degree surrounding by mountains. Very peaceful and relaxing with several benches to sit on close to the hotel to just enjoy the outlook. Room/bathroom/balcony were spacious. Plenty of storage possibilities. With own infrared sauna in the room so you don't need to leave the room to heat up and loosen muscles. It was also very quiet. There seems to be a good isolation. I did not need my earplugs ;-) Sufficient breakfast for us and good traditional meals in the evening. Free carpark available. It is a small road up to the top where the hotel is located. So beware that you might need snow chains in bad weather conditions. This is nothing that bothered us because in the end the road leads to a lovely place. But of course it is something everyone should keep in mind and be prepared for.

• Daniel (10/5): View from the hotel is brethtaking. - In one word, VIEW. One you get to the hotel, you don't have a need to go anywhere else (see the photos). On top of that, food in the restaurant was delicious. Communication with the staff (perhaps the fact that we did not speak German did not help), but we learned the hard way that restaurant in the hotel was closed 2 days (Monday/Tuesday). We did not have any way to make tea or coffee in the room.
• Martin (8/5): Bird´s nest - Location is just amazing! You can read it in reviews, however you just need to experience he valley beneath your feet in morning sun! The manager / owner behavior was balanced and fair. Kids loved the nature around. There are two types of rooms: hotel-like with breakfast and apartment(s). This was not 100% comprehensive from the reservation info on booking. We stayed in apartment, which was fairly equipped, however the facility was definitely not brand new and we struggled with few technical issues. On Monday, the facility was in fact abandoned by staff with no contact left behind.
