• Clare (9/5): Amazing location in beautiful Dubrovnik - highly recommend! - The apartment is in an excellent location with amazing views. It is in a perfect spot for the old town and Banje Beach. It is also 1 minute from the cable car station. Vesna was extremely helpful and responsive when I had any queries. We had the pleasure of meeting her when checking out & she is very friendly. The apartment is well equipped , comfortable & spotlessly clean. We thoroughly enjoyed chilling out on the terrace. The twin bedroom would benefit from a mirror. It would be lovely if there was somewhere to sit on the balcony in the master bedroom as the views are incredible.
• Mike (8/5): Vesna was a great hostess. Was prompt with responses and very accommodating to our requests/needs. - Property was clean and comfortable. Location was good with a great view! This unit had everything we needed for a family group. Need to leave doors open in the two back bedrooms to allow A/C to reach them. Be aware that Dubrovnik itself requires scaling elevation almost immediately from sea level. Occasionally Experienced some odor from the small bathroom drain. Vesna was going to have that checked by a plumber.

• bona (10/5): - 아름다운 두브로브니크의 올드타운이 한 눈에 보이는 환상적인 뷰의 숙소예요 아침에 일어날때마다 창 밖에 보이는 풍경때문에 행복했습니다 위치가 너무 좋아요 올드타운 플로체게이트까지 5분이면 가고, 반예비치도 가까워요 주변에 레스토랑, 마트가 있어서 편해요(한국 식당이 있어서 컵라면도 사먹었어요 :) ) 계단때문에 걱정했는데 생각보다 괜찮았어요 걸을만합니다 70대 부모님도 잘 걸어다니셨어요 계단이 힘든 분들은 길을 조금 돌아서 가면 계단없이 완만한 언덕으로 올드타운까지 내려갈 수 있습니다 택시 타고 다닐 수 있는 도로에 내려서는 계단 별로 안 걷고 집에 올 수 있었어요 다섯 가족이 함께 갔는데 화장실이 세군데 있어서 편했고 모든 편의시설이 잘 갖춰져 있어서 편하게 이용할 수 있었습니다 에어컨은 거실에 하나, 방에 하나, 2개가 있는데 거실에 틀어놓으면 집 전체가 시원해서 불편하지 않았어요 호스트인 vesna 도 너무 친절했고 모든 필요한 정보들을 잘 알려줬어요 다음에 두브로브니크에 간다면 또 다시 방문하고 싶어요!! 두브로브니크에서 좋은 추억을 남길 수 있게 해준 고마운 숙소예요 감사합니다!!

• Louise (10/5): Probably the best accomodation view I've had - Easy and quick check in, quick response from the host. Very clean and modern apartment. The view is even better than we imagined!! Absolutely gorgeous. I really recommend the location and the view, we're so glad we didn't stay within the walls of the city. The stairs were no issue for us. Went in early June (27-28 degrees celsius) and the temperature in the apartment was great. Everything was wonderful as it was, but a suggestion to make it even better would be to put some seating (foldable chairs?) on the master bedroom balcony in order to be able to enjoy that panoramic view even more comfortably. :)
• Tom (10/5): Exceptional - Best views over the old town and the sea. Apartment was spacious for 7 people and the large balcony was great for pre dinner drinks. One of my favourite properties I’ve stayed at in Europe!
• Marianne (9/5): Perfect location, comfortable apartment - The location was fantastic - gorgeous view and walking distance to everything we wanted to do. It is up a bunch of steps, but that didn't bother us at all. There is a lovely terrace, where we sat at night to play cards and enjoy the view. The three bedrooms fit my husband and I and my three teenage sons perfectly. The host also arranged airport pickup and transfer to the ferry station at the end of our stay which was really helpful. The pillows were a little hard, and the shower in one of the bathrooms really backed up, soaking the floor. The host said they would attend to that, so it may be fixed now. We had to leave the bedroom doors open at night to get full cooling from the a/c, but the living room in the apartment was cool and comfortable.
• Yvonne (10/5): Amazing view - Perfect apartment, big terrace, amazing view! And although me and the owner didn't meet, she was very kind and helpful, and responded very quickly. Not every room had airconditioning, but the living room did and that cooled down the whole apartment. Not a problem for us.
• May (10/5): Enjoyable stay - Being so close walking distance to all the places of interest and beautiful view of the Dubrovnik walls. Best location to see sun rise and sun set from the terrace. Great washing line behind the terrace walls. Due to the strong winds and dry weather, our clothing got dried overnight. The picture in booking.com had window view of the Dubrovnik walls. Unfortunately the windows were not from the room we had booked. Felt dissapointed at first but looking on the bright side, we could see the Dubrovnik walls from the terrace. Room was a bit small so we had to place our belongings strategically so that we don't walk into each other.
• Anderson (9/5): Loved this place. It's a hike up from the entrance to Dubrovnik, but it is otherwise close to town. - Location was great, but it is a climb up from the entrance to Dubrovnik. Future renters should know that. Bathroom, was clean and nice. The shower fixture did not aim downwards, so we had to be very careful about volume of the stream. Recommend a different fixture with downward swivel.

• Michał (10/5): Exceptional - I probably don't have to praise the views because the images show the best of the apartment (the large one). We stayed there for 4 days (2 persons) and loved everything about the place 🙂 The owner cares a lot about its cleanliness and we felt very comfortably with all the right equipment in hand. Actually there were more amenities than we needed. From the moment of booking to the last day of our stay the owner was always available and conducted a proactive communication with us. Grocery stores are close to the house we stayed in as well as the bus stop that leads to the airport (3-5 minutes away) - it was really helpful not being forced to order a taxi which is rather pricey when you are travelling alone or with another person (40 euro fare in comparison to 10 euro per person). Buses are plenty in Dubrovnik and you can travel in a convenient way with 3-day tickets or similar options. I could not be happier about how it all went. You can't go wrong when picking the Astelas apartment. Once I return to Dubrovnik I make sure to repeat the booking. Of course providing that it will be available because there are many visitors who are interested in it and I know perfectly well why 😉 The only negative part or rather a challenge to keep in mind is that the apartment is located in the upper part of Dubrovnik so you will need to climb a lot of stairs or go longer around the streets to get there. Yet if you plan to visit this city to enjoy its best views you probably already know what you get yourself into 😉

The apartment was clean and spacious and had a magnificent view of Old - Beautiful view, comfortable and clean apartment, close to Old Town, equipped with amenities, kind and responsive hosts. We enjoyed everything about the apartment.
• Sarah (10/5): Beautiful views, gracious host, and a very comfortable, homey stay. Wish we were still there! - The location is SO dreamy. The pictures do not do it justice! We were blown away by the beauty of the views of Dubrovnik from the terrace and main bedroom balcony. The apartment has two bathrooms, which was a great bonus for our family of 4. The kitchen has everything you might need, and Vesna even left us a welcome bottle of very good Croatian wine! The apartment is very close to some nice restaurants with views of Dubrovnik, as well as the Croatian-goods store Life of KAWA, which has great snacks as well as local wine, beer, and Croatian-made crafts, jewelry and souvenirs. A bakery and small supermarket are also very close by. 10/10 would stay again. Don't hesitate to book! We experienced hot weather during our July stay, and though the mini-split A/C in the living room kept most of the house very cool, the A/C had a harder time reaching the bedrooms. We ended up leaving the bedroom doors open at night and that solved the problem, but at the price of a little privacy.
• Jennifer (9/5): Excellent - Beautiful well maintained, spacious and spotless apartment. Very friendly and helpful host. Fully equipped with everything you might need. Amazing views of Dubrovnik old town with lovely private balcony and also shared larger outdoor space. Lots of helpful items such as coffee, tea, croissants, condiments etc which saved on shopping trips and great to have available when you arrive. Also enjoyed complimentary bottle of wine. Many thanks. Overall very happy with stay and below are just some minor points to note: 1. Apartment is located 150m from old town up steep incline which may not suit those with any mobility issues but did not impact particularly on our family. Good exercise up those steps ! 2. Was not advised about recycling and where to put plastics/ bottles / green waste etc which is something personally that is important. 3. Would have been helpful to have bag storage available post check out but there is a pay for service close near cable car.

The room and facilities were clean and smelt fresh on arrival, and the bed was comfortable. The hosts were extremely helpful and attentive, they even booked our taxis to and from Dubrovnik airport which was a great help! Nothing to dislike about this property.

• Kenneth (10/5): Perfect place for a short stay in Dubrovnik - Location is perfect, only a short 5 min walk to the Old town, Vesna and Grigor are perfect hosts, very helpful and on hand if we had any problems, we didn’t! we booked the room which was perfect for a 4 night stay for 2 people, the outside space is great for enjoying the view out over the Old town and Lokrum island, also just a 2-3 minute walk to the Cable car station. Communication before our visit was great with any messages responded to by Vesna within minutes, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Dubrovnik, it is a beautiful city and would highly recommend the room @ Astelas. thanks Vesna and Grigor for making us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
