• Martina (4/5): Nicht empfehlenswert - Das man vom Zimmer den Rheinblick hatte Die Bahnlinie direkt vorm Fenster mit Güterverkehr, Frühstück war sehr übersichtlich für den Preis Als wir nachts nach einem Event ins Zimmer kamen, befanden sich kleine schwarze Tiere auf und im Bett, sowie auf den Wänden im Badezimmer

• Gerard (8/5): Uitstekend voor fietser op doorreis. - Hartelijke gastvrouw. Geweldig uitzicht Pension ademt jaren 80. Maar sanitair moderner. Dat ik vanwege het seizoen geen ontbijt kon bijboeken.
• pino b (9/5): many thanks for your hospitality !! - nice and friendly contact with the owner. a small hotel with a personal service from Mrs Esther. clean and comfortable room, good breakfast, moderate price. the location is somewhat remote, the trains are noisy, but we knew this, and at the end, this was not very disturbing. excellent base to trips around the Rhine

• Thorstenson (8/5): - Sehr nette Gastgeberin,gut ausgestattetes Zimmer,gutes Frühstück mit dem einen oder anderen Extra-Leckerchen.Gute Parkplatzsituation.Küchennutzung möglich. Für mich persönlich ein Top-Ausgangspunkt für mehrere Wander-Tagestouren.Mit der Bahn (RB26) war man schnell am Startpunkt der Wanderung bzw nach Abschluss der Wanderung fuhr einen die Bahn fast bis zur Pension.(Kein lästiges Gepäckgeschleppe beim Wandern von Pension zu Pension) Mich persönlich hat es nicht gestört,aber wer lärmempfindlich ist (Zugschienen fast direkt vor der Haustür) der sollte Ohrstöpsel mitnehmen.

Betten sehr bequem und groß Haus ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, Farbkomzept (Wände, Bettwäsche, Bilder) alles dunkelrot, außerdem wenig Licht von außen, ließ es sehr düster und ungemütlich wirken. 24/7 rauschte alle paar Minuten ein Güterzug vorbei und zu unserem gebuchten Zeitpunkt wurde kein Frühstück angeboten

• Koos Beijer (8/5): Mooi verblijf in een geweldige omgeving!!! - De ligging direct aan het spoor voor ons als treinenfans helemaal top en het liefdevolle ontbijt! Geen kleine supermarkt in de directe omgeving.
• Thomas (10/5): Zuhause bei Freunden - Eine super nette Gastgeberin. Wir haben uns sofort wie bei Freunden gefühlt. Das haben wir so auf unserer Wanderung (Rhein-Burgen-Weg von Koblenz nach Bingen) nicht wieder erlebt. Der Zug ist doch etwas nervig - aber mit Ohrstöpsel geht es
• Manfred (8/5): Ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Zweiradfahrer. - Die Pension liegt in einem kleinen Ort, in dem es weder Geschäfte noch Gastronomie gibt, ausgenommen ein Restaurant am Wochenende.. Als Ausgangspunkt für Biker und Fahrradfahrer ist es gut geeignet. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Das Haus liegt nur wenige Meter von einer Bahnstrecke und einer Schnellstraße entfernt. Die Fenster müssen geschlossen bleiben, da es sonst zu laut ist.
• bert (10/5): Liebsrer gastfrau - De zeer lieve gastvrouw en de ruime kamer met het prachtige uitzicht Er is geen winkel of restaurant in het dorp maar esther reed voor mij naar een afhaalrestaurant voor een maaltijd na een lange wandeldag,heeel veel punten!!!

• Barbara (6/5): Although room was fine and place was clean probably due to above reasons wouldn’t stay there again. - Friendly host, room large and clean. Parking not on property, but off road. Rail line across from property, quiet only when windows shut. Although breakfast was indicated as available it was not actually available. Kitchen was available for use but no instructions were provided and a long term lodger there made it feel like we were uninvited.

• Michelle (6/5): Pleasant - Spacious rooms, two rooms are good for a family of 4. One of the beds was starting to sag in the middle. The pillows weren't very full (personal preference). The place is right by the train tracks and main highway, so it's loud when the windows are open (no AC). There was a smoker that was causing our rooms to smell, but I know smoking isn't allowed in the house (bad guest.)

The back yard with the little garden is beautiful, and Esther's interest in butterflies makes the place happier (for me at least) The location is near the train station My bed was soft - which was fine, but others might find it troublesome. Also, you're near the train station - which means trains will be a part of the soundtrack. It was OK for me.
• Eric (8/5): On a bicycle tour following the Rhine, I stayed one night. - Comfortable room with bathroom (shower), just what I needed. Luckily the restaurant (50m down the road) was open on saturdays.
• Carol (7/5): Excellent find for a stopover. - Loved the view from bedroom. Close proximity to station. Comfortable bed. Host helpful Nothing to do in the immediate area. We waited until Friday to get booked into the only restaurant in the area only to find it fully booked.

• Richard (9/5): A great value place to stay in the romantic Mittelrhein (Middle Rhine) region - Breakfast was excellent. Location was great, particularly for railway users, with the train station only a few minutes walk away. Despite the proximity of this busy railway line, double glazing and good insulation mean you hardly hear it. Our host Esther was very friendly and jovial, and spoke English very well. The tariff was very modest and made it very attractive to stay here in the glorious Mittelrhein region. Included in the tariff is a compulsory 1.50 Euro surcharge, which gives you a VRM ticket to travel free on trains, trams and buses over a wide area. For just one and a half Euros this offers extraordinary good value. Nothing

Considering that pension next to rail tracks, soundproof is good. Owner Esther was really nice and helpful. Perfect overnight stop in Hirzenach on Welterbesteig trail stages 5 and 6, between Oberwesel and Boppard
