ronald (5/5): - Recensie Pension Jana Wellness – Tsjechië Een bijzondere ervaring waarbij presentatie en praktijk soms niet helemaal samenvielen. De matrassen zijn comfortabel voorgevormd en parkeren is efficiënt — iedereen blijft veilig in de auto terwijl skischoenen en ski’s netjes blijven. De skiberging was “gespaard” vanwege sneeuw die er nauwelijks lag, en skischoenen drogen doe je in de hal, met kachel steeds teruggedraaid naar nul. Het ontbijt is stipt om 09:00, beperkt en bijvullen gebeurt op verzoek; “denken aan drie soorten kaas” komt hier letterlijk uit. Wij verhuisden van een luxe naar een comfortkamer, prima in overleg, maar de gekoppelde extra slaapkamer werd direct afgesloten. Koffiekopjes worden actief beheerd en zelfs uit de handen getrokken zodra het tijd is om opnieuw te drinken. Onze hond kreeg professionele aandacht voor het natuurlijke verharen van de vacht, inclusief een korte demonstratie waarbij hij zelfs aan de haren werd getrokken. De wellness is intiem en knus, maar in de winter werd voor de sauna een extra bijdrage gevraagd, terwijl de eigenaar elders vermeldt dat gebruik gratis zou zijn. Het gebouw is gehorig, en geluiden van andere gasten zijn overal hoorbaar. Tijdens ons verblijf viel op dat sommige groepen ineens meer vrijheid kregen: drankjes op het terras, deuren open en blikjes bier in de gangen. Kennelijk is strikte regeltoepassing soms flexibel, afhankelijk van commerciële kansen. Hygiëne wordt geprezen door de eigenaar, maar een vensterbank met een flinke stoflaag doet vragen rijzen over de details. Veel openbare reviews bevestigen dit beeld: beperkt ontbijt, wellness apart, strikte regels, weinig extra service. Alles klopt formeel, maar steeds nét iets minder dan je verwacht. De eigenaar presenteert zijn accommodatie met groot enthousiasme, spreekt over hoog niveau van wellness en gastronomie, en voegde eraan toe dat hij de beste accommodatie van Tsjechië heeft.
